Black Sander
★Small Ramen with Pork★
After about 8 years, I visited this place on a Saturday around 8 pm. The seats were almost full and there was only one staff member. They glanced at me but didn't say anything. I bought a meal ticket, placed it on the counter, and sat down. Still no words from the staff. After about 10 minutes, a faint voice came from behind the steam, "Topping..." (Come on, it's been 8 years, speak up, please). ⭐︎ Free Toppings: Vegetables (lots), Seasoning (strong), Fat (plenty), Garlic (normally not included), Bonito flakes * You can also choose the firmness of the noodles ⭐︎ Toppings for 50 yen: Soft-boiled egg, shredded seaweed, curry powder, Parmesan cheese. Feeling like I might be struck down by God soon, I opted for "normal." Shortly after, despite it being 8 years since my last visit, the staff brought my bowl with a nice smile and said, "Sorry for the wait." (Good vibes) The noodles had a good firmness and were easy to slurp, not too thick. Apparently, they use the same Nisshin Seifun Ocean flour as the original shop. The soy sauce-based soup was not too light, but compared to the original, it was easier to drink with a distinct flavor. The bean sprouts were blanched to a crunchy texture, and the chashu pork was tender with plenty of fat. Excellent. On the table, there were condiments like red pepper, black pepper, and white pepper. I wanted a bit more richness, so next time I'll try adding extra fat, garlic, and seasoning. (I'm curious about the Parmesan cheese) This time, I went with the "normal" toppings, but the base was delicious. I think this is a great place that I hope will stay around for a long time. I will definitely come back. 8 years later.
