I hope Sagamihara becomes more lively!!! This time, I visited "Ramen Specialty Store Ogawa Main Store", located a 15-minute walk from JR Hashimoto Station. It has always been a popular shop. "Who can make the best ramen! Ramen Specialty Store Ogawa's 2021 4th Limited Ramen Festival!" Limited festival from October 1st to November 15th, during which you can eat limited ramen from 3, 6, 9, 12 stores, and receive prizes for each one. If you eat the limited ramen from 14 stores and then purchase chashu at a chashu sales store, you can receive a completion prize. I visited the shop expecting there to be a long line, so I arrived 15 minutes before opening by car. The front parking lot was already full, so I parked at the second parking lot. There are 22 parking spaces, but it often fills up. - Visit: around 10:45 am - Seating: Counter, table, and tatami seating for 31 people - Staff: 2 kitchen staff, 2 customer service staff, quite busy - Menu: The main store serves a rich tonkotsu flavor as the basic taste of the Ogawa Group. ● Fragrant Yuzu Salt Ramen (850 yen, tax included) Manager Kosugi's theme: A refreshing bowl that combines the refreshing taste of yuzu with a base of bonito dashi. Uses Marunotachibana's short-strip chashu. When I visited at 10:45, I was already 16th in line. At opening, there were about 30 people in line. It's impossible to be first in line if you arrive at opening time. The popularity is still surprising. Even after opening, you have to purchase tickets at the machine, so it takes time. It took about 15 minutes to be seated. The 4 staff members seem to be a bit overwhelmed. I hoped to hear "Congratulations on finishing the limited ramen" when I received my order, but I was met with silence. The staff also seem to be under pressure. Please improve, Chairman Ogawa. It took longer than usual to be served, but I'm looking forward to the last limited ramen. Finally, it was served. The Fragrant Yuzu Salt Ramen comes with 2 slices of chashu, seasoned egg, watercress, green onions, and menma. First, I mix the noodles and soup, then enjoy the soup. "Wow, this is so delicious!!" The bonito dashi soup is full of umami without any fishy taste, and the yuzu aroma is high-level. The noodles are Ogawa's thin noodles, known for their firmness. The chashu and seasoned egg are also delicious. Overall, the combination of bonito dashi soup with yuzu aroma, thin noodles, and delicious toppings make this ramen outstanding. When I left the shop, there were about 15 people in line. The parking lot was full as well. The popularity seems to be as strong as ever. I found out about the campaign on November 3rd, and by November 14th, I had conquered 14 bowls. 14 bowls in 12 days, completing all the limited ramen. Now, all that's left is to purchase chashu at the chashu sales store before the end of November to get the final prize for completing all 15 stores. I've been sprinting through 14 bowls of ramen, but I want to skip to the finish line with ease. Thank you for the meal.

The shoyu ramen at Ogawa-ya was delicious, so I visited the main store in Hashimoto to try their original tonkotsu ramen. I ordered the recommended Ajitama W Chashu Men. The soup had a rich pork bone flavor that paired well with the thin noodles. The belly chashu was tender and the shoulder chashu was meaty, both delicious. The half-boiled flavored egg was tasty. I finished the default noodle portion quickly and ordered an extra serving. Please try this high-quality tonkotsu ramen.

I didn't expect to find such delicious tonkotsu ramen in Hashimoto. The tonkotsu ramen here is made with care, without any unpleasant smell. It's not something you see often, and it may not satisfy those from Fukuoka, but it's very easy to eat for the general public. The restaurant is very clean and family-friendly, with excellent service. It seems like they value the taste and service of the restaurant. I thought they might be able to surpass a certain Yokohama-style ramen shop if they had more locations. I definitely want to visit this place again when I go to Hachioji.

Visited around 9:00 pm with 2 people. There was no wait and we were able to enter smoothly. Purchased ramen for 750 yen, negi ramen for 900 yen, and a mini rice bowl for 320 yen at the ticket machine at the entrance. You can choose the firmness of the noodles and the richness of the flavor at the ticket machine. After seating, we handed over the tickets and received our bowls in about 10 minutes. The soup was easy to drink with no unpleasant smell, and had a rich pork bone flavor that was very delicious. The thin noodles had a good bite and paired well with the soup! The chopped green onions were also good. You can choose between belly and shoulder chashu at the ticket machine, so we each chose one type. The belly was melt-in-your-mouth tender, while the shoulder was lighter and tender, both were delicious. The chashu bowl had a nice fragrant aroma from being seared just before serving. I would like to visit again!

At the anniversary festival, a bowl of ramen costs 500 yen. I visited around 8 pm. The system has changed to selecting your order at a food ticket machine. I chose ramen for 500 yen, firm noodles, extra pork fat, and selected pork shoulder for the chashu. I had made a reservation online in advance, so I was seated right away. There were about 5 groups waiting outside. I have been coming here for over 10 years, but it had been a while since my last visit. I scanned the QR code next to the entrance and earned some points. My ramen arrived in about 5 minutes. The broth was a bit lighter than expected for having extra fat, a salty pork bone flavor. The thin straight noodles were delicious. I finished the first bowl as is and then ordered an extra serving of noodles for 120 yen, making it extra firm. For the second bowl, I used the garlic crusher on the table to add some crushed garlic and then added some extra sauce to adjust the flavor. As always, it was delicious! I enjoyed it very much.

I visited the main store for the first time in 5 years, and since it was before evening, the restaurant was empty. I ordered the extra firm ramen with a flavored egg topping and an extra noodle refill (without soup). The taste was slightly different from what I remembered, but it was delicious. I realized that the regular amount of noodles is just right for me (lol). I also added garlic without worrying about it.

I have been here many times, but this is my first review. It's always crowded no matter when you come. I was surprised that even though it was late, the restaurant was still packed. Today, I tried the April-May limited ramen, the Ogawa Black! I've been wanting to try it for a long time and I finally made it. The aroma of burnt garlic was amazing, it came through my nose and was really delicious. The wood ear mushrooms were a nice accent. I usually struggle to finish the soup in ramen, but this time it was so delicious that I actually finished it. If I can, I will definitely go back before the end of the month. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I had ramen, and when I finally had it again, it had to be Ramen Ogawa. The tenderness of the chashu is amazing! The main store here is my favorite because they make the noodles here. I love the way they squeeze a whole clove of garlic. I think it's the most delicious in the Machida area.

Deliciously rich and salty pork bone ramen! [Ordered Items] - Ramen (firm noodles, rich broth, others were regular) - Extra noodles - Wife and kids ordered ramen, green onions, ramen, seaweed, and rice [Basic Ramen Evaluation] - Soup Thickness: The soup has a rich flavor from being simmered for over 13 hours. After finishing the soup, you could see bone and marrow powder. However, the soup thickness is just right, flowing smoothly when stirred. - Fat Level: You can choose from rich, regular, light, or none. For those who don't like fat, light is recommended, while those who enjoy it should go for rich. The addition of back fat enhances the richness of the soup. - Noodles: Thin noodles with a slight chewiness. Although they retain some moisture, when ordered with extra noodles and enjoyed with the delicious soup, they become more springy. - Tabletop Condiments: Moderate amount of fresh garlic, sesame, and others. - Toppings: Seaweed, green onions, thick pork belly slices. [Impressions] - We happened to stop by this restaurant while running errands nearby, and it turned out to be a fantastic place. - We were introduced to what a rich and salty pork bone ramen should be. - My wife ordered extra green onions as a topping, but they can be a bit sharp when eaten raw, so it's recommended to soak them well in the soup before enjoying. (laughs)

Visited on a weekday night around 7:30 pm. There was no wait, but the restaurant was about 80% full. Purchased the "Ajitama W Chashu Ramen" from the ticket machine, specifying firm noodles. The ramen was served with pork bone soup, chashu made from pork belly and shoulder loin, seasoned egg, seaweed, and green onions. The soup was rich in pork bone flavor, complemented well by the soy sauce seasoning, with a surprisingly light aftertaste. The noodles were thin and firm, just right by the end. Upon closer taste, the soup contained visible back fat, adding depth to the broth. The chashu was tender and flavorful, the seaweed aromatic, and the seasoned egg perfectly runny. Overall, a highly satisfying and delicious bowl of ramen.

Arrived at the restaurant at 12:45 on Sunday, 15th in line... Ordered ramen with extra char siu, extra firm noodles, and a richly topped char siu bowl. Waited 20 minutes for a seat, but it was worth it. The garlic press on the table was a nice touch. The mini char siu bowl was like a child-sized portion. The ramen had a strong pork bone flavor, with chewy and bouncy noodles. The char siu was so tender it almost fell apart, and the roast pork was delicious. The bowl had a nice crispy texture. Added extra noodles and squeezed garlic into both the bowl and the ramen, and finished everything without stopping. I'm full and satisfied. The cost performance is average, but the taste is good.

The soup tasted really delicious. The female staff member was very lively and despite being busy, she made sure to greet each customer and provide good service. Although I understand he was busy, it was a bit disappointing when a young male staff member passed by in the small restaurant without acknowledging me or saying a word, leaving me waiting.

My youth was made up of 10% Fukuoka's original Nagahama ramen, as I used to eat it every 2-3 days. This time, I had the most standard "ramen" and gyoza, but my first impression when slurping the soup was "It's a tonkotsu ramen, but the bonito broth is quite strong... and it's sweeter than expected." The flavor of the bonito broth reminds me of Aomori ramen. I appreciate that there are no chemical seasonings, but... I ordered the noodles extra firm, but they came out in a normal soft state. I wonder what part of this is considered extra firm... The noodles seem thicker than Fukuoka's noodles. I ordered an extra serving because the portion was small, but even with the extra serving, the noodles were not extra firm. (It's a common occurrence in tonkotsu ramen shops that the noodles become soft while the toppings are being prepared, and you can finally get the firmness you want with the extra serving, but here, both servings were soft.) The softness of the noodles is at a level where customers in Fukuoka would complain if it were served there. Also, the fact that they don't have pickled ginger is unacceptable to me personally. I struggled with the sweet broth and bonito flavor throughout. I won't be revisiting. It's a prosperous restaurant, as I knew from passing by, but it seems to be a tonkotsu ramen with a Kanto-style twist. I had some expectations because someone's review mentioned that even a Kyushu native enjoyed it, but it didn't suit me, a former Fukuoka resident who is familiar with the original Nagahama ramen. As far as I know, the only tonkotsu ramen shop where I, a former Fukuoka resident, can nostalgically enjoy is "Hakata Ichiban" in Sagamihara City. I sat at the counter, but there was a loud mechanical noise coming from behind. It might be the air conditioner, but it was quite noisy and I couldn't focus on my meal (bitter smile).

I used a ¥1,000 GOTO EAT TOKYO ticket at the restaurant. I ordered at my table without using the ticket machine, and exchanged QR codes. I chose mixed chashu, but I actually prefer the pork belly. It had been a while since I last visited, but the tonkotsu shoyu ramen was delicious.

The restaurant that my husband and I became addicted to ramen. Although the address is Machida City, the nearest station is Hashimoto Station in Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It's a bit of a walk from the station. This area is complex with city and prefectural borders, including Hachioji City. It's best to visit the shop by car. There are three parking lots, and a considerable number of cars can be parked. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and there was quite a crowd, with about 10 groups waiting. We waited for about 30 minutes before being seated. My husband and I ordered the Ajitama Ramen and rice. When visiting this shop, you are faced with the ultimate choice of "extra noodles" or "rice," but we chose rice this time, which turned out to be the right decision. The noodles were served quickly due to their thinness. The staff moved briskly, creating a lively atmosphere in the restaurant and ensuring smooth service. It had been several months since we last visited this popular shop, where we used to go at least twice a week. We may not have had this regular menu item in over a year. The appearance was the same as before, and the taste was... delicious! Just like before. The tonkotsu ramen satisfied even my wife, who is from Kyushu. The sharp saltiness of the sauce paired well with the cloudy pork bone broth. The thin noodles lacked a slippery texture but were calculated perfectly to hold up the soup. The chashu is a must-try. You can choose between belly and loin. The belly melts in your mouth, while the loin has a firm meaty texture. When ordering chashu noodles or half chashu noodles in the past, there was also an option to mix the two types. I'm not sure if that's still the case. This shop truly deserves more recognition. I wish they would open a branch in Hakata and show the people of Kyushu how delicious tonkotsu ramen in Kanto can be. There are so many other ramen shops I want to try, but this one is truly delicious. It is without a doubt one of the best tonkotsu ramen shops in western Tokyo. I highly recommend trying it at least once.

Noritama Ramen / ¥770- Nori / ¥50- Rich and creamy salt pork bone broth. You can adjust the richness with the salt sauce on the table. The ramen comes with 6+5 sheets of seaweed which blends well with the soup. The chashu is made from pork shoulder loin, tender but not too soft. The noodles are thin and straight, with the option for extra servings. Towards the end, the soup may taste too salty, so starting with a lighter flavor or adding rice might be a good idea.

Nori ramen for ¥770. I always hesitated to go to Ogawa because it's always crowded and I dislike waiting in line. But I went around 2:30 pm and was able to get in smoothly. It's impossible to go on weekends because it's so popular. The taste was a bit strong even though I chose the regular option. The soup had a thick and soft texture, and it would have been better if the flavor was a bit lighter. I chose the pork loin for the chashu, and it was very tender and delicious, even though it was thinly sliced. It was delicious at Ogawa after a long time! Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I visited the shop. Today I had the Char siu ramen (pork belly char siu). This place is the best in Hashimoto, but the service was disappointing. I wanted to fill out the shop's survey in hopes of improvement. Perhaps it's just unavoidable due to the shortage of staff in these times.

I arrived at 13:30 but there was quite a line, so I was seated around 14:00. I ordered the most popular ramen. You have to crush the garlic yourself, so I put in 2 cloves. I added green onions as toppings. The noodles were not too thick, the broth was flavorful, and it came with chashu. Delicious!!

Surprisingly, it was my first time visiting this shop. I have passed by it enough times to make the shop card go around three times. Although I haven't been here recently, I decided to visit to try their limited edition ramen, which was a chicken white broth ramen. Personally, when it comes to chicken white broth ramen, I usually think of Musashi Urawa's Musashibo or Ichitou in Shin-Koiwa. The shop was still bustling, with a slight wait. The limited ramen came with slightly thicker noodles, which also meant a bit of a wait for it to be served. The taste was like a "house-style ramen made with chicken instead of pork bone broth." The saltiness was quite sharp and stimulating. The noodles were chewy and matched well with the soup. However, I can't help but think that the regular salt tonkotsu ramen would be more delicious. I hope they bring back their previous limited menu item, the yuzu salt ramen.

April 16, 2022. This was my first visit to this restaurant. I happened to come across it while driving by and noticed that the parking lot was almost full, with a line of people waiting outside. Since I hadn't had lunch yet, I decided to come back after finishing my errands. When I returned around 2 PM, there was no line outside, but the parking lot was still almost full! Inside, there was one group waiting. You have to get a ticket from a machine and then purchase your meal ticket. I ordered the classic "Ogawa Ramen" and my husband got the limited-time "Ogawa BLACK". The "Ogawa Ramen" was simple with one slice of chashu and seaweed. You can choose between belly and shoulder chashu, as well as the firmness of the noodles, amount of fat, and richness of the soup when buying the ticket. I chose shoulder chashu, less fat, firm noodles, and normal flavor. The soup was creamy and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of fat. I usually prefer miso ramen, but this tonkotsu ramen was really good too! The noodles were thin, which was a bit disappointing for me as I prefer thicker noodles. The chashu was a bit tough since I chose shoulder, so I regretted not going for belly for that extra tenderness. The "Ogawa BLACK" had burnt garlic and sesame oil as its highlight. I only tried a bit of the soup, and personally, it wasn't to my liking. It was quite greasy and the burnt garlic flavor was overpowering. It seemed more about enjoying the aroma, so I think it might not satisfy those who prefer strong flavors. Even close to 3 PM when we left, the place was still almost full, which was impressive. The prices were reasonable, but since I don't have a particular preference for ramen and tend to go for value, I personally prefer Jiro-style ramen with lots of vegetables and thick chashu at a similar price point. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you!
