When you think of the Little Mermaid, you think of the mermaid princess from Denmark. The Danish sausage dog is a must-have. So, today, we're going for Denmark again. The Danish sausage, with its presence that overflows from the bun, is a standout feature. Its power gets you excited.

This is a bakery located inside JR Haji Station. They have an eat-in space, but it was closed as it was close to closing time. Summer Brioche Danish Sausage Dog: Summer Brioche: 240 yen. This is made using a crispy brioche dough with a refreshing citrus flavor. It has a different texture from regular bread dough. It also has a nice taste of raisins and finely chopped cashew nuts.

I had an early lunch at Little Mermaid in the concourse of Haimushiro Station. I chose the Denmark Sausage Dog in the back and the Oven-Baked Fromage in the front. I'm not sure about the origin of the names, but both of them were delicious.

Located in Haisland, "Little Mermaid" offers morning bread. I stopped by on my way from the Seibu Line to JR, purchasing a Sausage Dog for 250 yen, a Cutlet Curry Bun for 270 yen, and a Blend Coffee for 270 yen to eat inside the shop. The Sausage Dog, described as having Danish sausage, was small in size but had a satisfying bite to it, different from convenience store sausage buns. The Cutlet Curry Bun contained a substantial piece of pork cutlet with a sweet curry sauce, although the addition of mayonnaise between the cutlet and curry affected the overall taste. The coffee, brewed by machine, was a bit weak compared to other options available at convenience stores.

I visited this bakery two weeks in a row when I went to Hagashima station. The first time, I think I bought Lorraine rock salt roll for 140 yen and anpan for 180 yen, but I don't remember exactly. The second time, I have the receipt so I can tell you what I got. I purchased Tea Etrange for 230 yen, Maritotto (custard) for 250 yen, and Tomato Cheese for 200 yen. Everything was quite delicious. The menu has a good variety, from classic items to some unique ones that caught my interest. The prices are reasonable, and I feel like even if the ratings on Tabelog were a bit higher, it would be deserved. If this bakery was near my nearest station, I would definitely become a regular customer. Oh, and as for the "Tomato Cheese," personally, I found it a bit mediocre. It has mini tomatoes inside, which was tasty but not quite to my liking.

Little Mermaid offers a morning set where you can choose a designated bread and get a drink at a set price. I chose the sausage bun and curry bun for my morning set. They provide place cards so you can easily grab your meal at the terminal station. It's a convenient store that is perfect for a quick meal.

The bakery "Little Mermaid" in Hiroshima is a chain under the umbrella of "Takaki Bakery" -> "Andersen", and for those who have lived in Hiroshima, it is a familiar place. There is a window inside JR Haima Station, but this time I entered from outside the ticket gate, bought bread, and brought it home for breakfast. There is also an eat-in space here, and there were people enjoying food and drinks. I bought [Dark Cherry] 238 yen x 2, [Hokkaido Anpan] 194 yen, [Curry Bread] 162 yen, [Shokupan] 4 slices 292 yen♪ The system is still the same, picking up bread with tongs and paying at the register, but each bread is wrapped in plastic, and there are plastic curtains on the display shelves, which you turn over to take. The measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 are perfect. [Dark Cherry] is a bread that I personally think of as a representative of Andersen and Little Mermaid♪ I like this bread that I tend to buy when I see it. Danish pastry dough topped with custard cream, marzipan, and four dark cherries in syrup (or something similar)♪ I've liked it since I first ate it about 30 years ago. The Hokkaido Anpan and Curry Bread were eaten by my family, and they both seemed to enjoy them. The next day, I had thick-sliced toast (4 slices) for breakfast. This also had a chewy texture and a delicious taste of toasted bread. It was very tasty. Thank you for the meal.

Bakery chain store located at Baijima Station. The store can be entered from outside the ticket gate. I'm not sure if you can also enter from inside, but I purchased a "Twist Donut" (excluding tax ¥110) here. The donut was softer than I expected. It didn't feel that soft when I picked it up with tongs. It has a fried flavor. Not only the sweetness of sugar, but also the sweetness of the dough is evident, making it a simple and delicious product. The texture of the dough is good, not too heavy on the throat.

I purchased some bread on my way out. The shop is located right outside the Haimura station gate, and you can also buy bread from the counter inside the gate. I bought the Mild Curry Bun for 226 yen and the Bacon Potato Dog for 216 yen. The curry bun was mild in spiciness and had plenty of filling. It had just the right amount of spiciness for me and was delicious. The Bacon Potato Dog had potato and bacon on top of a long bun. Even though it was cold, it was also delicious. I would like to try other breads if I have the chance.

At Haijima Station, I went to Little Mermaid and chose a Danish bar for breakfast. They had a rich chocolate one, so I picked that. The price was displayed without tax, which was a bit annoying - it was 130 JPY instead of 120 JPY. It had lost its usual crispiness after some time, but it still tasted good. Inside, there was a chunk of chocolate which added to the chocolate flavor and sweetness. Overall, it was decent (*´ω`*). It may not be the most "rich" chocolate, but it was enjoyable. Thank you for reading and visiting. Thanks!

I used the cozy bakery at the station while waiting for the bus! Haima is a station I used during my student days, but the station has changed quite a bit. There used to be only one takoyaki or obanyaki shop on the Seibu Line side... I reminisce about the memories. Little Mermaid always seems to have a lot of customers. It was my first time eating in. I ordered bread and tea at the register. I chose the Deli Roll (mushroom gratin) and the Apple Cream Pie. The Deli Roll matches the taste of gratin and mushrooms very well! It looks even more delicious when warmed up. The Apple Cream Pie is rare in a roll shape. It is filled with plenty of cream. It said it was a commemorative 45th-anniversary edition, so I couldn't help but choose it. It was lucky to receive a cute bread towel as a service on this day! The Christmas tree decorations shaped like bread in the store, with the word HAPPY, were also soothing. I wish there had been something like this during my student days.

Recently, I've been eating curry bread all the time♪ At LITTLE MERMAID, I got some curry bread♪ It's located in the transfer connecting passage between the JR ticket gate and the Seibu Hachioji Line ticket gate at Hagishima Station. It's a bakery cafe♪ A nice location for a coffee break during transfers♪ When I visited, the cafe space was not full, but about two-thirds of the seats were taken〜〜 I also took a coffee break here♪ Before ordering a blend coffee (270 yen) at the counter, I had to pick up the curry bread on a tray (self-service)❗️ There were 2-3 types of curry bread available〜〜 "Curry bread with half-cooked egg" and Keema curry bread♪ I took out the Keema curry bread (the receipt only printed "curry bread")♪ The blend coffee I had in the store was just delicious♪ The curry bread I had at home in the evening was also delicious. LITTLE MERMAID is a reliable bread for everyday use. LITTLE MERMAID is an FC bakery chain of the Andersen Group, and if you collect the common seal (Margaret Club) with Andersen, you can get prizes, so there are many regular customers, right? When I find a Little Mermaid in a town I don't know much about, I feel like using it like "the mermaid next door" (?)〜〜=(^.^)=*2017/4/26, ☆3.03 (based on 7 early reviews)

Today, I went to Haijima Station to get breakfast. I was aiming for a baguette, so I stopped by "Little Mermaid" at the station concourse, which has a great location. They also have a cafe where you can eat in. I went in hoping for a takeout, but they were low on stock. I was told that they almost sold out at the Yokota Friendship Festival. However, I found some suitable items for breakfast. I bought a "Salted Butter Bread (110 yen)" and a "Baguette (277 yen)". The baguette, with cuts on top, is about 40 centimeters long. It looks like a French bread but has a gentle texture. When toasted, it becomes crispy on the outside. Spread some butter on the soft dough and it's perfect. The butter bread is simple but has a fine taste. It's delicious on its own or as a snack. In general, the baguette, somewhere between Parisian and baguette, is a perfect breakfast item. Thank you for the meal.

Little Mermaid has expanded its number of stores quite a bit, and before you know it, they have even entered train stations. I used to go there quite often, collecting stickers and even getting a canister as a reward. However, my taste in bread has changed, so I rarely visit now. When I saw it while transferring trains recently, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the timing was not great as they only had sweet bread left. The only savory option available was the "Hokkaido Baron," which caught my eye with its name. The bread was generously spread with mustard and sauce, and the croquette was crispy and delicious. Looking back, I realized that, based on its shape, it might be more of a "Croquette Burger" than a "Croquette Sandwich." Well, it doesn't really matter, though (laughs).

This shop is a bakery with an eat-in area located in the concourse of JR Haima Station. JR Haima Station is a key transportation hub where the Ome Line, Itsukaichi Line, Hachiko Line, and Seibu Haima Line converge. The eat-in seating area has 3 counter seats and 6 table seats in the non-smoking section, and 5 counter seats and 8 table seats in the smoking section. There is a glass partition separating the two sections, but no doors where people enter and exit. On a certain Sunday morning in April 2012, around 10 am, I visited alone for breakfast. The popular No. 1 Bacon Potato Dog was sold out, so I tried the No. 3 Denmark Sausage Dog instead. The thick sausage was impressive and made me feel like I was really eating sausage. The sausage is made of 100% Denmark pork. On a certain Saturday in April 2014, around noon, I visited again to grab some lunchtime bread. This time, I bought the Mustard Potato Roll and the Denmark Sausage Dog again. The thick sausage in the Denmark Sausage Dog was delicious.

There is a bakery between JR and Seibu Line ticket gates. They have a seating area as well. Today, I had an offline meeting with friends before the ticket gates. I arrived too early and the concourse was stuffy, so I decided to kill time here. As I looked around the shelves of bread, I found my favorite "Cheddar Cheese Roll". I ordered it with an iced coffee and sat at the non-smoking counter. Although it is a smoking area, the bread was soft with a strong cheddar cheese flavor, very delicious. But surprisingly, it's quite high in calories. The coffee was also rich and flavorful, not losing to gum syrup or cream. A fellow reviewer arrived before departure, so it's time to go.

A shop near JR Haijima Station's ticket gate! You can also eat in. I used it on a weekday night, and there are few places to have tea around Haijima Station, so it's a valuable shop. It's a branch of the nationwide chain Little Mermaid, so the bread has a consistently delicious taste. This time, I bought a blend coffee for 280 yen, and small snack breads with sugar, chestnut, and chocolate for 45 yen each, for a total of 415 yen to satisfy my hunger. The interior is non-smoking, but what's surprising is that the cafe space could use more chairs and tables, but it's empty (you can use it more widely!). There are stickers all over the tables and walls saying "No outside food allowed" (maybe because there are many customers bringing in food?). Since it's located near the ticket gate, it's a convenient shop where you can spend time waiting for the train, adjusting to the train schedule. It's valuable in Haijima.

A bakery inside the station. The train was delayed at the transfer station so I ended up buying some bread there. I entered the bakery in a hurry and noticed that the greeting from the staff wasn't very energetic. Since it was evening, the shelves were quite empty. I chose some items that I liked! The Camembert Nut bread for 190 yen had Camembert cheese and walnuts inside, with a chewy texture that matched well with the nuts. The Tobikkiri Melon bread for 170 yen had a firm cookie crust on top that I enjoyed. The Red Apple Pie for 280 yen was a bit disappointing as there was not much apple filling inside for the price. The pie crust wasn't to my liking either. The Salted Butter bread for 110 yen, on the other hand, had a fluffy French bread texture and a subtle salted butter flavor that was delicious! I would like to try eating in next time during the day. Thank you for the meal!
