I have been to Trattoria Granbocca about three times with my male friends, and we usually go there for a meal to enjoy some delicious food. However, on the third visit, I noticed a significant drop in the taste of the dishes. I wondered if there was a change in the head chef. Trattoria Carne Giù in Otemachi is incredibly delicious, but my friends tend to order wine by the bottle quickly, which makes it too expensive for me to go there. So, I was in a dilemma until I discovered this place. Upon researching, I found out that it is affiliated with Granbocca, so I had high expectations. I made a reservation for Friday at 7 pm and went there with two friends. We started with the beef tongue with green onions, and it was undeniably delicious and juicy. We all loved it and ended up ordering more. The wagyu harami was tasty, but I don't think I would reorder it. The kalbi was also juicy and flavorful, and we couldn't resist ordering the special kalbi, which was even more delicious. The copchang was my first time trying it, and it was surprisingly good without any unpleasant smell. The hormone assortment was also tasty, but since I'm not a big fan of hormones, I think I would prefer regular kalbi. The chicken liver pate was served in a large portion, and it was surprisingly delicious with a unique color and texture. We also had kimchi, four glasses of draft beer, three sours, and a bottle of wine priced at over 3,000 yen, bringing the total bill to 27,000 yen. Considering the amount of food we ate and the quality, it was quite reasonable. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a satisfying night, and I would definitely order the beef tongue, kalbi, liver, and pate again on my next visit. Reservations are essential, and please note that all the restaurants in this chain only accept cash payments, so be prepared if you are dining with a group.
