This time, as the cafe I wanted to visit was full, I ended up having lunch here unexpectedly. Surprisingly, this place might be a hidden gem due to its location! The cafe I wanted to go to and the nearby coffee shop were both full, but here, being on the 11th floor of a building, seemed to always have available seats? I visited around 3 pm today, and it was quite busy, probably because it was a Sunday. I didn't have a reservation, but when I asked, they said they could seat me after a short wait. However, it took quite a while from being seated to getting the menu, ordering, and receiving the food... I was getting tired of waiting (laughs). There were more empty seats compared to last time, but oh well... Anyway, I was really hungry and in the mood to eat everything, so I decided to go for the lunch set plate with "Pumpkin Cream Fondue Cheese Pasta." I was torn between "Burnt Caramel Brulee Cheesecake" and "Matcha Basque Cheesecake," but ended up ordering the latter. The menu description mentioned using 3 types of cheese, a rich matcha basque with added saltiness at the bottom, and an exquisite sweet and salty taste... The saltiness caught my attention, so I chose this one, but the taste was, well, hmm, subtle. It seemed to emphasize bitterness too much, overshadowing the deep flavor and aroma of matcha? There wasn't much taste of cheese either, and it ended up with a strange and subtle flavor... I rarely leave food uneaten, but I couldn't finish this one... I made a mistake... The set plate was pretty delicious and had a good value, but if I come back next time, I'll try something else (laughs).
