The sweetness from the vegetables combined with the umami of the tongue, creating a milder and richer flavor than the typical Negi Tan Salt, was an excellent dish. Another must-order item was the Snow Melt Kalbi, another specialty menu. The rich kalbi with fat, topped with a vegetable-based sauce and chopped green onions, had a strong visual impact. By grilling it in a way that wraps the green onions, it was cooked to a steamed texture, providing a soft, melting sensation in the mouth. The staff's grilling technique was excellent, and the restaurant offers high satisfaction in taste and hospitality at a reasonable price. I would like to visit again when eating yakiniku in Akasaka. The restaurant is small with a limited number of seats, so it is recommended for those who want to enjoy a meal while having a leisurely conversation. Since it wasn't too crowded early on, I was lucky enough to have the master cook for us. The surprising thing when we sat down was the unique type of grill that I had never seen before. The grill at this restaurant has a special feature to prevent the fire from getting too big due to the fat. We ordered a la carte items. - Homemade Vegetable Salted Tongue: A recommended dish from this restaurant with a salted vegetable-based sauce. It was delicious with a perfect harmony of tongue's texture and tenderness, and a gentle seasoning. - Fresh Top Liver: A dish that boasts freshness to the point where it can be eaten raw. It was beautifully colored and cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. - Snow Melt Kalbi: Kalbi covered with a layer of green onions like snow, creating a beautiful presentation. The master said that anyone can serve high-quality meat at a high price, but he wants to enhance customer satisfaction with originality and cost-effectiveness. I once again realized the importance of cooking to the right degree. It's a waste to overcook and make it tough when you have fresh meat. Good cost performance, delicious meat. I ordered a 1000 yen set for lunch. While I was somewhat disappointed with the quality and quantity of the meat, considering the price, I can't really complain. It's a valuable option in the area around Akasaka-Mitsuke Station where you can enjoy yakiniku for a relatively reasonable price. If I were to be picky, I would like them to improve the quality and quantity of the meat even if they raise the price a bit.

This restaurant is known for serving high-quality meat with unique twists at surprisingly good prices in a competitive area. The hidden gem vibe of the place, not being on the street level, gives a sense of exclusivity. I started with a "Premium Malt's draft beer (715 yen)" and the "CHINTAN Special Salad (880 yen)" which was a vegetable-packed chorogi salad, simple yet delicious. We began with the "Homemade Vegetable Salted Beef Tongue (1738 yen)" which was marinated in a vegetable-based salt sauce, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish that defies the usual image of tongue meat. A must-try is the visually stunning "Melting Snow Galbi (3608 yen)" which is a new sensation of galbi cooked with leeks in meat juices, absolutely delicious! The "Raw Lemon Sour (693 yen)" without sweetness paired well. We had the "Harami (1518 yen)" and the leaner "Shinshin (968 yen)" cooked rare. The staff takes care of cooking to ensure the best taste. We ended the meal with the refreshing "Cold Noodles (1045 yen)" and shared the "Yukkejang Soup (880 yen)" for a satisfying night. Unfortunately, the special thick liver was not available this time, but I will definitely come back for it.

The interior has a chic design with a black color scheme, lacking the smoke and slippery floors typical of yakiniku restaurants, making it suitable for business dinners or even dates. Arriving around 7:30 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was bustling and full, so reservations are recommended. While there are value sets available, on this day, we opted for a la carte. We ordered the following dishes: Vegitan Shio, Top Liver, Yukidoke Kalbi, Harami, and a Special Assortment (Top Kalbi, Top Sirloin, Lamp, Misuji). We started with the Vegitan Shio and Yukidoke Kalbi, both recommended on the menu. The Vegitan Shio, made with the restaurant's special garlic and carrot marinade on beef tongue, was delicious. The dish had a generous portion size, perfect for sharing between two people. The Yukidoke Kalbi, thinly sliced and topped with plenty of negi (Japanese leek) without its spicy taste, was also very tasty. The negi added a unique flavor to the kalbi, which was light and easy to eat. The Top Liver was fresh and had a firm texture, lightly seared on the surface to enhance its sweetness. It melted in the mouth, especially when paired with salted sesame oil. The Harami had a substantial thickness, offering a satisfying texture. Although we originally wanted the Top Harami, which was sold out, the Regular Harami was of such high quality that we couldn't help but wonder how amazing the Top Harami must be. The Special Assortment included Top Kalbi, Top Sirloin, Lamp, and Misuji, all cut thick and generously portioned. Each person could enjoy two slices of each type of meat, making it a great value. The staff mentioned that they are particular about using A5-grade black cattle, sourcing the best meat available at the time. I found a great yakiniku restaurant in Akasaka that was open after 10pm! It was my first time there, so I was debating whether to order a set meal, but I decided to go with a la carte to try their specialty, the "Yukidoke Kalbi." I ordered the tongue sampler which included 3 types of tongue for 968 yen per person, and it was definitely the right choice! They were all delicious! I also tried the fresh beef liver (thick cut) which was lightly seared and very tasty. The upper harami was sold out, so I settled for regular harami, but I really wanted to try the upper harami. The upper mino was average. I grilled all the meat myself, except for the Yukidoke Kalbi which was 3,608 yen and the staff grilled it for me. They wrapped the meat with leeks and steamed it. Overall, the flavors were a bit strong, with a slightly salty taste. Maybe they intended it to go well with alcohol.

Visited alone around 1 pm on a regular day. It was rare to see no other customers during lunchtime in the Akasaka area. I ordered the stone-grilled Yukke Bibimbap set. I didn't order any grilled meat, so I thought they would remove the stove, but they left it as it was. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The set was supposed to come with soup and oi kimchi, but surprisingly, they served it on top of the stone-grilled bibimbap! I mixed everything together, including the oi kimchi. I prefer oi kimchi and kakuteki to be served cold. If I have a chance to have a lunch barbecue, I might consider revisiting. I paid with PayPay.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke, Yakiniku Horumon CHINTAN is a great place to enjoy delicious yakiniku with good meat quality at a reasonable price. The atmosphere inside is chic and calm, perfect for a leisurely meal. The vegetable-based salt sauce with onion and carrot is gentle and tasty. The beef tongue has a strong umami flavor with a good texture. The fresh beef liver is thick and sweet without any unpleasant smell, offering great value for its price. The Shinsin has a soft yet crispy texture with a delicious umami flavor. The beef tongue sashimi has a sweet fattiness and the traditional taste of beef tongue, especially when paired with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. The Yukhoe is refreshing with a nice balance of sweetness and umami. The Salted Shimacho Kabosu Ponzu has a perfect balance of flavors without any unpleasant smell. The Yukida Keabi, with plenty of green onions and a salt flavor, is best enjoyed medium rare. The grilled green onions add a sweet flavor to the meat, creating a fantastic dish. The Cold Noodles have a chewy texture with a slightly tangy broth, making it a great way to finish the meal. Overall, all the meat dishes are delicious and satisfying. Today, I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Akasaka. The interior was dark and had a stylish atmosphere. First, I tried the "Gokutan" which had a thick cut and a crunchy texture. It was already seasoned with salt, giving it a savory flavor that made me crave for white rice. The recommended "Jikasei Yasai Shiodare Vegitan Shio" had a well-seasoned taste. The meat felt tender, possibly due to the sauce it was marinated in. Next, the seared yukhoe arrived, with a shiny egg yolk on top. The meat was well-seasoned and made me want white rice again. The "Yuki Tokemi Kalbi" had plenty of green onions sprinkled on top. I wrapped the meat with the crunchy green onions and grilled it, creating a steamed texture. The Kalbi was tender and paired well with the crispy green onions. The thinly sliced fresh liver was recommended. The fresh liver was lightly seared and eaten with a sesame oil and salt sauce. It was firm and delicious! Lastly, I had the "CHINTAN Special Curry" as a finale. It contained finely chopped meat, carrots, potatoes, and was seasoned with spices. When mixed with the topping of a warm boiled egg, the curry had a gentle and flavorful taste. It was a perfect ending. Depending on the crowdedness of the restaurant, today all the meat was grilled for me. The perfect grilling was amazing. The meat was well-seasoned, satisfying to eat as it is.
