"Yuki-doke Kalbi (3,608 yen)" This is a popular menu recommended by the staff. The kalbi is topped with plenty of green onions, so much so that the meat is almost hidden. When grilling, wrap the green onions around the meat and cook it like steaming. The kalbi has a good amount of marbling, making it refreshing even for those who usually find kalbi heavy, especially when eaten this way. The saltiness of the green onions adds to the flavor, making it a dish that goes well with rice.

"Extreme Tan (2,398 yen)" This is a rare menu item that can only be taken from one cow for five servings. It is a thick cut with a firm texture and a rich marbled feel. Since it has a lot of marbling, squeezing a little lemon on it enhances the flavor even more.

"Vegitan Salt (1,738 yen)" This tan salt is marinated in a homemade vegetable salt sauce, and the tan is served with a light coating of the vegetable salt sauce still on the surface. The tan has a very tender texture, perhaps due to the enzymes from the vegetables. It has a gentle flavor even without any additional seasoning, making it just right for the first dish. The tan salt marinated in vegetable salt sauce is a must-try experience that cannot be found elsewhere.

"Fresh Premium Beef Liver (1,078 yen)" The staff highly recommended this beef liver. They have absolute confidence in its freshness, and this time we ordered the thinly sliced version. The fresh liver can be eaten as it is, and when lightly seared and served with sesame oil and salt sauce, it has a chewy texture and a rich sweetness, with no odor at all. This is truly a high-quality dish that showcases the freshness of the ingredients.

"Seared Yukke (1,408 yen)" The seared yukke comes with a large-sized egg yolk on top. It is made with a cut of meat with a lot of lean parts, giving it a rich umami flavor. The large egg yolk has a strong presence, almost as much as the lean meat, and it looks like it would taste delicious even when mixed with rice.

"Ichibo Tare (2,178 yen)" Ichibo is a part of the beef rump that is connected to the outer thigh. This Ichibo also has a beautiful marbling, a rich flavor, and a soft texture, making it easy to eat.

"CHINTAN Special Curry (990 yen)" A curry served in a stone pot similar to bibimbap. It comes with a large-sized soft-boiled egg on top, and when mixed, it becomes a curry dish with a texture similar to okayu. The meat, potatoes, carrots, and other ingredients are finely chopped inside, making it easy to eat even as a finishing dish. The seasoning is Japanese-style, with a noticeable dashi flavor. It is a curry with an addictive quality that you can't help but keep eating.
[Summary]
Located on Ichigokaido Street near Akasaka Mitsuke Station in Akasaka, the yakiniku restaurant "Yakiniku Horumon CHINTAN" has been in business for over three years since its opening in September 2019. Despite facing the challenges in the competitive dining area of Akasaka Mitsuke, they have overcome them, showcasing their true capabilities. I visited on a weekday at 7:30 PM with a reservation. The restaurant offers table seating, counter seating, and private rooms, suitable for various occasions and group sizes. The dim lighting and calm atmosphere inside the restaurant are appealing. One thing to note is that smoking is allowed inside, so non-smokers should be aware.
