Prologue of December Update in the 4th year of Reiwa: Last month, I used this place for the first time and really liked it, so I wanted to come back again. However, I hate waiting, so my companion agreed to go there at 12 o'clock to wait for me (I usually arrive around 12:30 after my esthetic treatment). One of the unique features of this place is that they offer all-you-can-eat of about 9 types of bread baked on the 8th floor. On December 10th, after finishing La Prairie's esthetic treatment, I arrived around 12:30 as planned. I thought my companion would already be seated, but they were still waiting as the 10th group in line! The waiting customers kept increasing, with a long line extending to the 4th floor staircase. I keenly felt the popularity of this place once again. Finally, around 1 o'clock, after about an hour of waiting since my companion started waiting, we were able to enter and be seated. We ordered the same Snow Crab Cream Croquette for 2080 yen (my companion also ordered it). Among the 9 types of bread, I chose the Rum Raisin and Simple, which I liked last time. Snow Crab Cream Croquette 2080 yen: It was a bit on the thick side, but the crab was solidly packed and the taste was very good. Rum Raisin: It was moist and just to my liking. I had half a slice three times. Simple: It was a bit drier than last time... maybe it lost its charm next to the moist Rum Raisin... I might not choose it again. I'm not a big fan of bread in the first place, so I usually don't try different kinds, but I regret not exploring more options. Considering that there were still waiting customers, we left early around 1:40.

Visited on Wednesday evening. On this day, I had a health check-up starting at a strange time of 2:30 pm, so finding a restaurant at the awkward time of after 3 pm and struggling with hunger was quite difficult...orz, but this place was the only option as it was open from 4:30 pm onwards! Today, I ordered the Beef Stew (2,200 yen) with a drink set including Iced Tea (+400 yen). When you order a main dish here, you always get unlimited bread from Kimuraya! No matter how old you are, unlimited bread is always exciting, right? After ordering, first, a staff member with drinks and the basket of bread for the unlimited bread service came to the table. I wanted to eat all of them, but I chose spinach bread, carrot bread, dried fruit bread, raisin bread, and corn bread. They were all soft and fluffy, with a great bread aroma! They were delicious even with or without the whipped butter they provided. While eating the bread, the Beef Stew was served. The special homemade stew made at the restaurant was rich and the meat was tender! The large pieces of meat and plentiful vegetables were also a highlight. I remembered Komeda's Beef Stew and ordered it, but this homemade stew from the Western-style restaurant had a more refined taste and went well with the bread. However, I got carried away because I hadn't eaten for a while, but with the unlimited bread, I ended up getting very full! Please make sure to come to the restaurant on an empty stomach! Luckily, I got to sit by the window this time, and it was nice to enjoy the meal while watching people walking on Ginza Chuo-dori, National Route 15. Thank you for the meal! ✨

On August 13, 2023, I visited the Kimura family, famous for their anpan, as they also have a Western-style restaurant. I tried their omurice, which looked like a typical omurice from the outside, but when I cut into it, it was not as runny as expected. The inside was slightly firm, sitting on a bed of ketchup rice, giving it a unique texture. The ketchup flavor in the rice was strong, making it delicious when eaten with the egg. Additionally, the all-you-can-eat bread was a nice touch. Although they didn't have their famous anpan available, I bought some on my way out.

Everyone knows the movie 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' starring Audrey Hepburn! In response to the reopening of Tiffany on Fifth Avenue in New York in April, the flagship store in Ginza also reopened on July 7th. It was my first time learning that the Ginza flagship store, opened as the third overseas branch in 1972, boasts the second highest sales in the world after New York. After visiting the room of Jean Schlumberger on the 2nd floor and enjoying champagne in the reception room, we left Tiffany at 5pm and decided to have tea somewhere else. "Do you know Kimuraya Cafe?" "Kimuraya, next to Mikimoto?" "Yes, that's the one!" I had no idea there was a cafe there! We went to Kimuraya and found that the cafe was on the 2nd floor. It was my first time taking the escalator to the 2nd floor, and the cafe was full, so we decided to go to Grill Kimuraya on the 3rd floor. The view from the window was of Ginza Mitsukoshi and Isamiya, which has been around since 1922. The history of Kimuraya's founding in 1875 and the story of Emperor Meiji receiving anko bread from them were highlights. I realized that my mother would have been 100 years old this year thanks to this review. We ordered the Parmentier, a French home-cooked dish similar to a gratin with ground meat in potatoes. The bread service was quick, and we chose three types of homemade bread. The Parmentier was topped with eggplant and tomato sauce, making it a unique dish. After the meal, H-san had coffee and I had iced coffee. The staff, uniforms, interior, and menu all had a Showa retro feel, making it a unique dining experience.

On a regular day around 1 pm, there were about 3 groups waiting in line for about 15 minutes to enter. The main attraction was, of course, the all-you-can-eat bread. The bread, cooled enough to be sliced, was quite large. Especially the walnut and raisin bread had distinct flavors that could be tasted. It was impressive that they still tasted good even when cold. If you prefer freshly baked fluffy croissants, you might prefer the famous chain with all-you-can-eat bread. However, in terms of price, location in Ginza, clientele, and the balance of flavors in the bread with raisins, walnuts, and cheese, this place might come out on top in terms of luxury. It's a matter of whether you prefer the real deal of freshly baked bread or looking at the overall balance. As for the dishes, the stew had tender meat, but the carrots and potatoes seemed to be boiled separately, so the flavors didn't blend well. "Well, it's decent." When the crab cream croquette was cut open, the brown filling was surprising. It was packed with a strong crab flavor.

I went to a long-established Western-style restaurant called "Western Grill Kimuraya" near Ginza Station in Tokyo, where they have been serving delicious dishes for over 140 years. The restaurant is located on the third floor and has a cute atmosphere with natural wood tones and yellow accents, offering a view of Ginza from above. I ordered the following dishes: - Omurice: 1,800 yen - Pair Plate A: 2,080 yen (all prices include tax) When you order a meal, you also get unlimited bread. They offer a variety of bread such as carrot, olive, walnut cheese, raisin, and rum raisin, among others. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The Omurice had a wobbly and delicious egg on top, and cutting it with a knife revealed a half-cooked egg that covered the chicken rice. It was delicious! The Pair Plate A included a simmered hamburger steak and beef stew. The hamburger steak was delicious with its coarse ground meat, and the beef stew had a rich and sweet flavor with tender beef tendons. All the bread was tasty, and I had a great time enjoying the view of Ginza while dining. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I visited the restaurant as soon as it opened on my day off. There was already a long line, but I managed to get in. I ordered the beef stew, which had a lot of beef and tasted authentic. They offered 7-8 types of bread for all-you-can-eat, and if you're lucky, you can also enjoy freshly made bread.

I arrived a little past 11 o'clock and wrote down my name to wait. The seating arrangement is done one group at a time, so it takes a bit of time, but since there are quite a few seats, I decided to wait patiently. Actually, I love bread... I used to avoid bread buffets because I was scared (lol) but I've been craving bread so much since yesterday that I couldn't resist anymore... my bread cravings kept increasing... so I thought this place would be good to satisfy my mood today. I decided to indulge in some "fat activities" today (lol) and came here. They bring you a basket full of bread without you having to ask for seconds, and you can choose the types of bread you want... when I saw reviews like that, I had to go ❤️ (;゚∇゚) Ahaha. The dishes I ordered this time were: - Pair Plate 2080 yen A: Hamburger & Beef Stew - Mini Melon Parfait 500 yen. When I sat down, they brought me water and as soon as I ordered, a staff member with a basket of bread came... The first basket had the following bread: - Carrot Fluffy Bread - Large simple white bread ← I tried putting a hamburger inside it. It was soft and fluffy. - Spinach Pita Bread - Raisin and Orange Peel Bread - Baguette - Walnut and Cheese Bread. For the second round, there was also a parfait: - Salt Bread - Corn Bread - Olive Bread. For the first round, I asked for all six types of bread to be served (lol). The dishes arrived \(^^)/ - The hamburger was small, but it goes well with bread ❤️ I made a hamburger sandwich with the simple white bread and it was so delicious ❤️ - Salad, also used for the sandwich. - The most popular single item, Beef Stew. It had a rich bitterness and a mature taste. It had carrots, broccoli, potatoes, and chunks of beef in it. A very satisfying and greedy plate ❤️ I was also curious about the cream croquettes, but I thought the hamburger would go well with the bread, and that was a great choice! Also, the whipped butter that you can have with the bread was surprisingly delicious. The salty taste of the butter matched well with the sweet bread, creating an endless loop of deliciousness. Oh, I think I ate too much because the waitress with the bread basket ignored me once, even though there was no bread left on my plate (lol). I can't imagine she did it on purpose... I probably asked for seconds 2-3 times, maybe about 3-4 times. I felt a bit embarrassed and decided to stop because there was dessert. After the meal, I had the limited quantity Mini Melon Parfait ❤️ It arrived in a cute glass. It didn't look that impressive (lol). Inside, there were red and green melon pieces, as well as melon-flavored almond jelly. It was delicious! I felt like I gained something and left feeling full and satisfied (^ー^)❗ Thank you for the meal. I bought some of the delicious bread on the first floor after eating (lol).

Unlimited bread at Kimuraya - No wait on weekdays ✨ From before 12pm, all dishes come with unlimited bread. There are about 10 types such as rum raisin, olive, walnut cheese, French bread, corn bread... Not too big, not too small‍♀️ Of course, I conquered all types and even got butter, so I had seconds of the French bread. All this for 1,500 yen - isn't that a great deal❓ Lately, even family restaurants charge around 1,500 yen for lunch, right️ I added a 400 yen coffee, and with the full course, I was completely satisfied ☕️

- Beef stew: ¥2,200 - Mini parfait: ¥500 I went to Kimuraya because they offer all-you-can-eat bread. It was a holiday, so I waited in line for about 1 to 1.5 hours. They have a variety of bread from fluffy to dense, so you're sure to find your favorite. You can also buy the same bread at the shop on the first floor on your way out.

On a regular lunchtime, when my friend and I arrived at 10:30, there were already 2 groups waiting. We wanted to sit by the window if possible! There were only 3 window seats, but luckily we were able to sit there. We ordered salmon and octopus salad, beef stew, white wine, and iced coffee. Both dishes were delicious and had a generous portion. The beef stew meat was tender and melted in my mouth. There were many types of bread for all-you-can-eat, and they served us the first round after ordering. The butter was creamy and we could eat as many as we wanted. There were salt bread, walnut bread, corn bread, and many more that I couldn't remember. The salt bread was so delicious that I had a second serving even after eating the beef stew. The staff paid attention and asked if we wanted more bread before it ran out on our plate. Of course, we bought some salt bread to take home on the first floor. Next time, I will try a different menu ☺️

I arrived at the restaurant without considering the closing time, just 10 minutes before the last order. I quickly ordered the daily special, which was a soup with sea bream and vegetables, which came with all-you-can-eat homemade bread. The waiter soon brought a basket filled with various types of bread, and I chose three kinds to try. The soup was served promptly and had a refreshing tomato base with a good mix of vegetables, although the sea bream was a bit overcooked and dry. The bread was soft and delicious, but unfortunately, all of it was served cold. Overall, the experience was average, with nothing particularly impressive.

I went to Kimuraya for their all-you-can-eat bread buffet. I arrived a little after 11:00 on a weekday and was able to enter without waiting. Normally it's always crowded and I avoid it, but this time it was a family request so we went early to grab a bite before running errands. I ordered the beef stew, which was served piping hot and delicious. The staff also brought around various bread options for us to choose from, and I enjoyed trying all the different kinds. Despite encountering some elderly customers with a bit of an arrogant attitude, the staff handled the service smoothly and efficiently. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

I went to a wonderful restaurant where you get unlimited bread when you order a dish. The line was quite long, I waited for about an hour even though I arrived just before opening time. It was a relief that it was okay to wait outside during the wait. The food and bread came out quickly! This time, I couldn't decide between the beef stew that seemed to go well with bread and my favorite crab cream croquette, so I got both. There were many other dishes that seemed to go well with bread as well. The bread that left an impression on me were the corn bread, the simplest white bread, and the raisin bread. I couldn't help but go for seconds of my favorite bread haha. It's a bit sad that the bread isn't warm, but it's still delicious with a fluffy texture. Can't go wrong with it.

On a day off, I went shopping in Ginza. I happened to pass by Kimuraya, which I had been curious about for a while, so I decided to go in. It was after 6:30 pm, but the restaurant was empty. The window seats are all glass, so you can see the main street of Ginza very well. The seats were spacious and the atmosphere was casual, so I was able to relax without feeling out of place. I ordered: - Beef Stew 2,200 yen (with all-you-can-eat bread) - Snow Crab Cream Croquette 2,080 yen (with all-you-can-eat bread) Kimuraya offers about 10 types of homemade bread that they bring to your table for all-you-can-eat. The bread wasn't warm, but it was soft and moist. They were all very delicious. I especially liked the milk-rich Danish bread, the orange raisin bread with plenty of sweet raisins and orange peel, and the spinach bread with a strong spinach flavor. They were so delicious that I ended up eating almost 20 pieces!! The beef stew was full of ingredients and luxurious. The meat was chunky and satisfying to eat. The taste was slightly sweet with a salty kick. I wish it had a bit more mellowness from the vegetables and sweetness from the meat. The cream croquette was hot and crispy. It was not a creamy type, but it was packed with a soft and rich filling. It had a strong snow crab flavor, and the tomato sauce with a strong tomato taste and the sweet tartar sauce were both delicious. I enjoyed dipping the bread and finishing it all. It was a nice time to leisurely savor while looking at the view of Ginza. The staff's consideration was also good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Although there was no all-you-can-eat option for anpan, I felt like buying some anpan and eating it after a long time. (*˘︶˘*).。*♡

It was around 13:30 in the afternoon on a regular day, and there were about 3 groups waiting. After waiting for 5-10 minutes, we were seated promptly and taken inside the restaurant. This place is Kimuraya, a renowned bakery where ordering a dish from the menu also includes all-you-can-eat bread. The staff will come around and explain the bread options to you. I ordered the gratin, which was delicious when paired with the bread. If you want to eat a lot of bread, I recommend getting a salad, but then you might also crave stew or something that goes well with bread... The prices here may be a bit on the higher side overall, but the all-you-can-eat bread and the excellent service from the staff make it worth it. They are always attentive and considerate. It was a very pleasant and relaxing dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

- Kimuraya, a restaurant located near Ginza Station, offers a bakery, cafe, and Western-style grill. - Wait time: Visited on a Sunday at 3 pm and had to wait for one group. - Kimuraya is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Ginza Station A9 exit. The exterior has a bakery on the 1st floor with a prominent sign saying "Kimuraya." Inside, you can take the stairs or elevator to the cafe on the 2nd floor and the Western-style grill on the 3rd floor. Despite the convenient location and it being a Sunday, it was fully packed at 3 pm. - One of the unique features of Kimuraya is the all-you-can-eat freshly baked bread, with around 10 different types available. - I tried the following dishes: - Black Wagyu Beef Hamburg: A moist and fluffy hamburger with a good balance of meat and binding ingredients. - Tomato Sauce Omelette Rice: The balance of tomato sauce acidity and egg sweetness was excellent. The rice was simple with a slightly watery ketchup flavor. The egg was soft but not too runny, cooked just right. - I only had a raisin bread as I had dinner plans later. The soft dough with the sweetness of raisins was delicious. - I recommend going on an empty stomach as you can enjoy plenty of bread along with the Western-style dishes. - Ordered dishes: - Black Wagyu Beef Hamburg - Tomato Sauce Omelette Rice

- The bread here is so delicious that you might end up eating too much, especially the classic orange bread. The hard bread varieties are also very flavorful. - The dishes are traditional Western style and consistently tasty. - Located right in the middle of Ginza, this restaurant offers affordable prices and is not a large chain, making it popular with tourists. It's not too crowded if you go early on weekends, but around 1pm it tends to get busy.
