The restaurant had high ratings on Tabelog and the location seemed quiet, so I had high expectations. However, when making a reservation, the basic course set of meat automatically included was okay with the Ichibo being decently tasty, but the rest was just average. I was hoping to try the tongue, but they didn't have it. The set didn't fill me up, so I wanted to order more meat, but the options were limited. There was a comment on Tabelog saying that the filet had a good thickness and didn't require much chewing, but today it was tough and I had to struggle to chew it. The drink selection was also disappointing with only Chita whiskey available. If they only offer one brand of whiskey, they should at least have malt whiskey like Suntory Toki or Johnny Walker Black. The waitress was also quite cold in her demeanor. Overall, it was disappointing not only in terms of the taste of the grilled meat but also in terms of the drink options.

Kunimoto's lineage was amazing. You can only choose the type of meat, but you can also order additional cuts. The instructions placed on the table show the order in which to cook the meat, showing their desire for you to enjoy it. The quality of the meat is excellent and the sauce on the meat is not too sweet, which I love! I was getting tired of the overly sweet sauces at other well-known restaurants, so this place was a savior. It was delicious. I will definitely come back!

We left it up to the chef's choice for 7,920 yen, and then ordered individual items. With two girls, we were satisfied with the rice and chef's choice platter. The meat was tender and delicious for grilling on the shichirin. The semi-private room had a great atmosphere, and the service was excellent. We also ordered the Chorogi salad and two drinks, totaling just over 20,000 yen! It took about five days of calling about 10 times a day to finally get through on the phone. Maybe it was just me (laughs).

My husband's birthday dinner reservation was made a month in advance, and we were told that they had availability at 5:00 PM! Despite it being early, we immediately agreed because we had heard great reviews from famous people like Jin-san and Watanabe-san! I had some reservations about Daikanyama, but we arrived around 4:50 PM and were seated right away. For appetizers, we had a salad with salt and sesame oil, and roast beef. For the main course, we had a chef's selection platter and added an extra plate of roast beef. The roast beef was a must-try, and even though I don't usually order it, I took a bite and it was like eating elegant sashimi. The chef's selection platter had 2 pieces of 6 different types of meat, with 2 types of salt and 4 types of sauce to try in order. Each meat had its own unique flavor and characteristics. The balance was best with the Shinshin meat in my opinion. The marbling on each piece was substantial, so even with this amount, we were full. I don't usually eat fatty meat, so I got a bit tired, but the fillet was refreshing. The flow of enjoying high-quality meat was well thought out, and I was very satisfied. If my stomach had allowed, I would have loved to try the garlic rice too. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited the restaurant with a friend who loves meat! We walked about 15 minutes from Naka-Meguro Station to get there! The nearest station seems to be Daikanyama Station, which is about a 10-minute walk away. The owner, Mr. Kaneko, who trained at Kunimoto in Hamamatsucho, opened this restaurant in Daikanyama. Inside the restaurant, there are 4 semi-private seats. The atmosphere is very homey and relaxing. We ordered side dishes and drinks first, and then they brought us a meat assortment. If you need more, you can order additional meat. Ordered menu: - Kimchi assortment: Napa cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, oi kimchi - Meat assortment: Salted meat - rolled loin, ichibo - Happiness sauce meat: Sirloin, fillet, core, rump with sauce We enjoyed the charcoal-grilled meat with salt and wasabi, which allowed us to savor the flavor and umami of the meat directly. The sauce complemented the meat well and made the meal very satisfying. We also had garlic rice with diced meat, which was delicious on its own and paired well with the meat. We added diced meat (5-6 pieces per serving) with a choice of sauce - we chose green onion salt this time. It was great to try a variety of meats in small portions! Located a 7-minute walk from Daikanyama Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line, this yakiniku restaurant is tucked away in the depths of Daikanyama. Starting with the chef's special assortment of rare cuts, there is no tongue or skirt steak here! The chef's special assortment features a parade of rare cuts - rib core, ichibo, sirloin, filet, rump, and shoulder ribs. Truly adult yakiniku! Each piece is substantial in size and thickness, satisfying on its own. While all the meats were delicious, the rib core and filet were outstanding! We also added some additional cuts, featuring Tottori Tamura beef and Nara Yamato female beef (Tajima lineage) today. The meats, seasoned with green onion salt, were equally large and incredibly tasty. The famous KANEKO roast beef was thinly sliced, with just the right amount of sweetness in the sauce melting in the mouth instantly. The finale of Pockunpa, with its sweet and spicy gochujang flavor, was delicious. We made a reservation a week ago and visited on a weekday night with two people. The initial meat course was 8,200 yen per person (excluding tax). The quality of the meat was high and the portion size was decent. We also ordered a la carte items and drinks, spending around 11,000 yen per person. The roast beef from KANEKO was particularly delicious. The meats we had were rib, marbled kalbi, sirloin, harami, and tri-tip. The atmosphere was good for a date as each table is separated. There are countless delicious yakiniku restaurants, but my favorite is Kaneko. The owner, Mr. Kaneko, who trained at Kunimoto, impresses me every time with his passion and meticulous work with meat. While you can choose your appetizers and side dishes freely, the main yakiniku course is the "Chef's Special Assortment" which includes about 6 carefully selected cuts recommended by Mr. Kaneko for the day. Each of these 6 cuts is incredibly delicious, and every bite is so impressive. Not only the meat, but the sauce is also outstanding, enhancing the flavor of the meat even more. The individual menu item, roast beef, is also unbelievably delicious and a must-order. For dessert, I always have the cold noodles. I never miss it, no matter how full I am. From start to finish, I am constantly amazed by the deliciousness. Thank you always.

The price for the taste at this restaurant is unbelievably delicious. It starts with a unique format where you must first try the owner's recommendation, which is absolutely delicious. The fact that all tables are semi-private is great, and the food is served quickly after ordering, allowing you to enjoy your meal for a long time. I usually remember which part was the most delicious at a restaurant, but here, everything was so tasty that I only remember thinking, "It was just so delicious" (laughs). Overwhelmed by the overwhelming presence of meat, my excitement increased as I enjoyed it until I was full. I ordered drinks and appetizers, and the meat was served first, so I waited eagerly with the charcoal-filled shichirin set up. When the meat arrived, it was beautifully prepared and there were seven types. I thought it might not be enough, but after trying them all, I was full. The quality of the meat and everything else was high, and the grill was changed so quickly that it was like, "Already?" I was very satisfied.

Despite being very close to my home, I have only been there once because it's almost too close to visit, haha. Here, like its sister restaurant Kuni Moto, you start by ordering the chef's choice of the day (a set of 6-7 different cuts of meat, both salted and marinated), and then add more meat if you have room. The quality of the grilled meat is exceptional, as expected from a Kuni Moto alum. The marinade is particularly noteworthy, especially for those who enjoy lean meat with sauce. The only downside is the price, which is around ¥15,000, making it a higher-end yakiniku option. Personally, I think yakiniku places with prices under ¥10,000 are genius in terms of cost performance, haha. A very delicious yakiniku restaurant. It is located above my oden shop. The roast beef and kimchi were also delicious. The service was average. The only problem was that they do not accept cards for payment. This is quite rare in this day and age, and some people were seen struggling to pay, having to go to the ATM or borrow money from someone.
