Yesterday, I attended a PTA-related drinking party after a long time. It's been 4 years since my daughter graduated, but we've been keeping in touch. We made a reservation at a restaurant recommended by the former principal, and the party started at 5 pm. We started with a toast in Ebisu, followed by a salad. Next, seared mackerel was served, with a flambe performance at the table. It was delicious. Then came chicken liver and heart sashimi, which was rich and tasty. A sashimi platter with a variety of fresh fish was served next, impressing us with its volume. The famous "dancing shrimp" was served, made from live shrimp, with the heads deep-fried and served separately. We switched to bamboo sake for drinks, and the freshly fried shrimp was crispy and delicious. The pasta as the final dish was mentaiko pasta, with a rich and flavorful mentaiko sauce. Finally, miso soup was served to end the 2-hour party. The course cost 5000 yen per person. I went to Gowan in Shibuya Jinensui Matsu-Do because I wanted to eat some fish. In this area, I could only think of Sanzou, the third fish, but the further you get from the station, the more delicious individual restaurants there are. Passing by Awesome Street and Tiger Gyoza Street, I turned left and found Gowan, a popular place where you can now easily make a reservation since East Blue (Hanare) has also opened nearby. The best part of One Piece was when they entered the Grand Line from East Blue until the Going Merry was gone. Honestly, I didn't need the skeleton and Frankie. At the restaurant, the sashimi platter with Kanpachi, sea bream, octopus, and tuna was all fresh and incredibly delicious. They were not juicy. The oysters from Iwate were also large and fresh. The sake was surprisingly ordinary. You can also try the eyeball dance of the shrimp, but if you're not a fan of the appearance, you might find it difficult. With about four cups of sake each, you'll be full for around 5000 yen per person, which is surprisingly cost-effective for such delicious fish. It's worth a little walk to get there. You can also use this place as a second stop at a dining bar in Jinensui. It is a shop located in Ura-Shibu, a short walk from Shibuya Station. The items I ordered were crab cream croquette, minced meat miso with green peppers, assorted sashimi, and shrimp sashimi. Especially the crab cream croquette and the sashimi were delicious! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice! The shop is a bit small, but it is perfect for a girls' night out!

I visited this restaurant with friends I hadn't seen in a while. It seems to be famous for its delicious shrimp. The restaurant is not very big, but has a calm atmosphere. It is quite popular, so there was a lot of pressure to finish within a certain time. The menu doesn't have a wide variety of food or drinks, so it was difficult to decide what to order. The sashimi platter, seared mackerel, and shrimp and seafood dishes were all very delicious. The salad that came as a side dish was also tasty, but everything else was just average. It's not very close to the station, so I'm unsure if I would come back again. Overall, the seafood was very delicious.

Today, the third stop in Shibuya was Gouan! We lined up 30 minutes before the 5:00 opening. The specialty here is the dancing shrimp, and we quickly ordered the ribbed daikon. The shrimp is definitely alive! The body and head are separated from the start, and you can feel the vitality of the shrimp. After eating the body, they fry the head and tail. The ribbed daikon has beef tendons in a tower of daikon. The daikon was soft and well-cooked, and it was delicious.

I went to EAST BLUE Gouwan in Shibuya for a drinking session. Started with a solo drink during the first round in the afternoon. Planned to have just one drink at Kiyosugu, but ended up having three. I felt like eating fish, so I visited based on the reviews on Tabelog. It's usually all fried food for me, as I have high cholesterol. It's a bit of a walk from Shibuya Station, but not too far. This was my first time in this area. As I entered the restaurant, I felt the lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly. I apologize if I got the menu wrong, my memory was very hazy that day. We ordered the famous fresh sashimi platter, tsubugai liver stew, otsumami torotaku, and salt-grilled dish. A special guest joined us midway through. I received a treat from him, which was delicious like matcha chocolate. The special guest disappeared almost instantly, and I barely remember what we talked about. We moved on to a dim sum and sake bar even though we were already full. I don't remember much from that place either. The special guest made a reappearance, but I only remember about 10% of our conversation. They said I looked around 25 years old. I guess I only remember things that suit me. Thanks for the meal.

Visited with colleagues from work. This restaurant is tucked away in the Matsunagi area. We had a course with all-you-can-drink option, featuring grilled mackerel, sashimi, daikon, and a variety of high-quality dishes. All of this for just a little over 5,000 yen. Thank you for the feast.

We ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course. We enjoyed a variety of seafood dishes such as fresh sashimi starting with prawns and simmered dishes. The portion sizes were generous and we left feeling very satisfied. The location and entrance of the restaurant may be a bit hard to find, but the dishes were Instagram-worthy and the vibrant table setting made for lively conversations.

All the dishes were delicious. They had about 8 different types of sake, and if you order 2 or more servings, it comes served in a cute bamboo container. The "dancing shrimp" was also reasonably priced at around 300 yen per shrimp, so I ordered 2 at a time. They fried the shrimp heads and they were delicious too. Personally, I thought the seared mackerel and shrimp were the best, so I would like to order them again when I revisit.

The dancing prawn dish was served while the prawn was still moving! The raw oysters and sashimi were large and satisfying. The Hikari Karaage was delicious, with a light and tasty flavor similar to shishamo. The service was quick, and the freshness of the seafood was excellent. The taste was good. I understand that it was crowded because it was the end of the year, but I was bothered by the words of the female staff. I was asked if I wanted tea at the end, and I said yes, but then I was told to leave because it was closing time. I was waiting for the tea to come... It was disappointing. That one word can change whether I will go next time or recommend someone. However, the taste was definitely delicious.

The restaurant is always full even on weekday nights! It's a place where you need to make a reservation in advance. The seafood is incredibly fresh and delicious. And the prices are also reasonable. The salad served as an appetizer was refreshing and very tasty. The most delicious dish was the Toro Taku, which is basically Toro wrapped in seaweed without rice. This was the best dish by far. The place was packed, so the staff seemed a bit flustered and the food and drinks took a while to come out at times! Haha. When asking questions about the menu or seating, the staff seemed a bit distracted, with another girl pulling them away and giving off a vibe like "don't bother them." It was a bit annoying, haha. Maybe they thought I was hitting on them? I wish they didn't lump me together with those people, haha. That was the only downside. Other than that, everything was great! The food was delicious and the value for money was good. I would definitely go back if I have the chance!
