Hello, if you want to eat yakiniku in Ebisu, this is the place to go! This is Gurumani! I visited a yakiniku restaurant affiliated with Laorao that I introduced before, and since Laorao was really delicious, my expectations were high and I was excited to go to Ebisu! The restaurant is very close to the station, located near Ramuyu! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, cozy, and there are outlets at the counter so you can even work while enjoying your meal! I ordered all the recommended menu items while choosing what caught my eye! Let's dig in! The premium thick-cut beef tongue is visually stunning! You get to choose which part to eat right in front of you! Happy! I chose the middle part and put it on the fire! The staff carefully and skillfully cooks it to perfection! I think pictures won't do justice, but it's really soft! I wanted to show it in a video. When you cut it, it's a beautiful pink color! It's cut into bite-sized pieces and eaten with salt ponzu sauce and lemon eschalot sauce, and from the first bite, it's just pure happiness! It's soft and has a good texture, with a rush of umami coming through! The beef tendon stew at the yakiniku restaurant is delicious! What is this? It's so delicious with crunchy green onions! And it's really meaty! Many places usually have tender pieces in it, but this restaurant has a solid and really delicious stew with various cuts of meat! The two types of crunchy green onions on top and the lightly seared liver are really fluffy and melt in your mouth! And it's really rich! Kobe Nakayama's kimchi It's a stable and delicious kimchi flavor considering the deliciousness of the meat so far! The delicious liver sashimi The surface was lightly seared, and it was fluffy and melted in your mouth. The white beef tripe sashimi with kochu vinegar and soy sauce The clean beef tripe and the crunchy cucumber go really well together! Emperor's top harami The harami style eaten with wasabi! The interior has counter seats and table seats, making it easy to use for individuals or groups. At the counter, you can see the meat being prepared and beautifully arranged, as it is an open kitchen. **Food** Looking at the menu, it's full of interesting ideas. It's a yakiniku restaurant, but it's different from the usual as each dish is served individually. Each dish comes with its own sauce, and the flavors are unique with a strong spice kick. It was a new discovery for me as the flavors were unlike anything I've had before. The "Lamb Daddy" was delicious without any gamey taste. The menu items have fantastic names that make you excited to try them. The ramen and curry for the finale were also really delicious, and I've found a new favorite restaurant to come back to. The thick-cut beef tongue price varies depending on the grams, but it's around 2000 yen and has a satisfying taste. The "My Sausage" with herb is juicy and irresistible. I always order sausages when I go to a yakiniku place (lol). The hormone is cut quite small and easy to eat, but it's recommended to eat it quickly before it shrinks and burns. The Kiwi sour I ordered at the end was delicious! It's nice to have a wide variety of drinks. The staff are friendly and there are many attractive points in the store, so girls might like it too! I visited the new yakiniku and sake bar "Sake to Yakiniku New To Me" that suddenly appeared on Ebisu Ginza Street, just a 1-minute walk from Ebisu Station West Exit, where many famous shops are lined up. Let me start by saying that I was honestly surprised by the quality that exceeded my imagination, from the neon-lit interior inspired by a red-light district to the trendy name of the restaurant. The mobile order QR code with table numbers written on it is like the shoe rack at a public bath, which is quite amusing. The starter was a rich "boiled tongue soup (charge/400 yen)," which was incredibly delicious and raised my expectations. The glass for the "draft beer (630 yen)" was a beaker, which was also interesting. The "white liver sashimi with garlic vinegar miso (920 yen)" was mixed with plenty of sesame oil, which was unusual. And the "stir-fried raw leeks and liver (720 yen)" was so delicious. I couldn't resist ordering a "lemon sour (strong/730 yen)"! The specialty "premium thick-cut tongue core (3480 yen * price varies by weight)" with only the center cut out is a must-try dish. The chewy texture and overflowing juiciness that rampage in your mouth are truly amazing. This clean and stylish restaurant has a unique atmosphere where you can enjoy yakiniku in a casual izakaya setting. The neon lights and interior design give off a Showa-era vibe, with a touch of traditional Japanese elements. The artwork inside the restaurant, created by illustrator Yuko Shimizu, features a modern twist on traditional Japanese themes. The menu features carefully selected wagyu beef, and we tried the affordable "Nakasu Course" which includes wagyu beef, Kagawa chicken, and raw lamb. The course started with boiled tongue soup, fresh vegetable salad, and a unique appetizer of crispy bell peppers with meat miso. We also enjoyed dishes like "Ero Harami" and "Nama Lamb" cooked to perfection. The course also included seasonal grilled vegetables, Kagawa chicken, Kobe Nakayama's special kimchi, and freshly cooked rice. In addition to the course, we also ordered the restaurant's specialty "Akayukke," a spicy beef tartare dish served with crispy Indian snacks called Panipuri. The combination of flavors was delightful, and the portion sizes were generous. The restaurant also offers a variety of a la carte menu items featuring different types of meat. The dazzling exterior and interior are said to express the atmosphere of the Edo period red-light district as seen by foreigners. Therefore, the names of the meat courses are like this... Hiyoshiwara - Full Course (8300 yen) Gion - Just Right (6300 yen) Nakasu - Drinking Companions (4300 yen) Ah, I see! Tonight, the middle-aged man on summer vacation is enjoying a solo counter barbecue experience with a Nakasu-style course and an all-you-can-drink option (2300 yen). The music playing in the restaurant is classic rock, which I love, making it feel like I'm drinking at home. And the manager kindly explains various things about the restaurant and the meat, making it a comfortable place to linger. It truly feels like experiencing the concept of a barbecue pub centered around the counter with meat as the main focus. So, with a draft beer in hand, the night begins with boiled tongue soup, seasonal vegetables, fresh namul salad, Kobe Nakayama Kimchi, and more. The thick-cut tongue is truly fit for a general, served with a lemon eschalot and salt ponzu sauce. The Ero Harami (4 slices) is available for order depending on the cut. Why is it called Ero Harami? Truly a red-light district vibe... The Akahormone Mix includes pork throat cartilage, beef tongue tip, beef gizzards, and chicken hearts, served with a sweet and savory Thai-style sauce. The Tane Niwatori from Kagawa Prefecture includes chicken thigh meat, seseri, and skin, served with vinegar soy sauce, lime, and yuzu pepper. Lastly, the fresh lamb is a must-try, with tongue, hormone, chicken, and lamb all offering exquisite flavors. The night ends with a variety of rice dishes, all of which are said to be confident creations. Although the curry and TKG (tamago kake gohan) were tempting, I decided to order the top menu item, "Chicken Soba." It truly lived up to its reputation as a delicious dish. They also provide the perfect seasoning to accompany the meat, making it delicious and enjoyable. So let's start ordering right away. ■Draft beer!!! (630 yen) Although the wine selection is quite extensive and intriguing, I started with beer. After all, yakiniku and beer go hand in hand. ■Assorted raw meat (1,340 yen) A combination of yukhoe, tongue, and oolte. Yukhoe was a slightly unusual way to eat, with the seasoning mixed in the middle, but it was very delicious. ■Erotantan 4 slices (1,540 yen) This tongue with a strong impact in its name is enjoyed with lemon eschalot and salt ponzu. The thinly sliced tongue is refreshing. ■Chicken tenderloin (820 yen) Recommended Kagawa chicken. This is enjoyed with lime and vinegar soy sauce.
