A sushi restaurant that is open until 8 a.m. Very convenient. On a holiday night before midnight, the surrounding shops are closing one after another, so it's crowded. Managed to get one of the last few seats! They have a wide variety of menu items including sushi, sashimi, grilled dishes, fried dishes, simmered dishes, and seasonal recommendations. I didn't have high expectations as it's a casual restaurant, but everything I ordered was surprisingly delicious. The sea urchin was generously packed inside the seaweed, and the medium fatty tuna sashimi was even more melt-in-your-mouth than it looked. The simmered kinki fish was also the best I've ever had. By around 1 a.m., the place was full and they started turning customers away. Inside the restaurant, it was chaotic. When I ordered scallop grill and miso soup as the last dishes, they never came. When I asked, they said they had mistakenly served them to another table. I had to cancel and go home. It was disappointing in the end, but I'm glad I got to enjoy delicious fish. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

Asakusa Tsukiji Sushi Ichiban. It was a sunny Sunday with a lot of people in Asakusa. I entered because I passed by. The staff were not very attentive except for the waiters. Sashimi assortment was ordered verbally, and sushi was written on paper. It would have been nice if they explained the system at the beginning. The quality of the fish was decent. The order I placed first came out. I felt a little unwell.

After drinking, I came here for a meal. It was my second visit, but last time I drank too much and couldn't eat anything, so I could only order alcohol... I knew they were open until morning, so this time was my revenge. I ordered maguro-zukuri sushi, a selection of sushi, umeshiso maki, and torotaku maki with shiso leaves added. The quality of the fish was good, and the sushi rolls were well-made. Everything was quite delicious. The red miso soup was also incredibly tasty. I've only ever seen small miso soup bowls at sushi restaurants, so I was a bit surprised by the size of the bowl here. I forgot to take a picture of the maguro sushi and red miso soup. My friends ordered a 720ml bottle of sake from 3am, which was funny. The total price for three people was around 20,000 yen, which seemed a bit high for a meal, but considering how delicious it was, I was satisfied. I will definitely come back for a meal next time I drink in Asakusa! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Late-night meal. The staff, mostly elderly, are very kind. However, my Japanese is not very good, so I have trouble reading the handwritten seasonal menu and communication is a bit difficult. The menu has a wide variety of options. I ordered 4 types of sashimi and 7 pieces of sushi. The scallop sashimi and grilled horse meat sushi are delicious. The crab miso soup is also very tasty.

The price is great for the quality you get. The chef at the front was really quick and impressive, giving instructions and managing everything smoothly. The restaurant is close to the station, open late, and the food is delicious.

I came to this restaurant after a long time. It's my second stop so I can't eat a lot, but I'll start with ika and akagai, followed by kohada. It's refreshing and dry, but very delicious. Next is the kanburi, which is also quite tasty. I wanted to have some sushi as well, but maybe next time.

If you want to have a little drink at night, this is the place to go. It's my favorite place among this group. I love the white squid, bonito, and surf clam sushi rolls. They taste great with sake. Today's drink is also delicious. I can't eat as much as I used to, so I can't choose a lot of things, but sashimi and sake go well together.

I just noticed the coupon. I haven't used it before, but if there's another coupon next time, there's no reason not to use it. After cheers with beer, I always enjoy sake every month. I'm looking forward to the delicious sake they always have. Lately, the oysters haven't been very good. I hope they improve.

I came here thinking of Asakusa, sake, and sashimi. I enjoyed various sashimi dishes while having a delicious iwa-gaki (rock oyster) for 1600 yen. The rock oyster wasn't the best I've had here, but overall, I enjoyed dishes like mackerel, scallops, bonito, and Japanese sake.

On August 19, 2021, I revisited this place after work. I was in the mood to go for a celebration, but there were no suitable places nearby, so I decided to go to Asakusa alone. This restaurant is located on the west side of Asakusa, near Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line. It is situated along the main street, Kaminarimon Street.
- Deluxe 12-piece sushi set: ¥4,980 (tax included ¥5,478)
The abalone was still moving! It was surprising to see it served live and dancing. The price tag is justified for this quality, but it was a bit too fishy for my taste. The tamago was sweet, the uni melted in my mouth, and the ikura was soft and salty.
- Crab chawanmushi: ¥650 (tax included ¥715)
You can choose between shrimp, crab, or anago. I chose the crab, but it had a strange matsutake mushroom scent. There was too much filling, and it lacked harmony with the egg. The crab felt like an afterthought.
- Uni-rich rice bowl: ¥5,980 (tax included ¥6,578)
After feeling a bit unsatisfied with just the sushi and chawanmushi, I decided to order this. Being able to savor a bowl full of uni in one bite was fantastic. It felt like a reward to myself, and I was speechless with happiness. However, the vinegar in the sushi rice was a bit overpowering and strong.
In the end, I ended up spending over ¥10,000, even though this place is not considered a high-end restaurant. I indulged quite a bit during this visit.

Visited on a holiday night in August 2021. I arrived a bit late, but most of the seats were already taken, so I was seated at the counter. Ordered:
- Medium 8-piece sushi set for 1,880 yen
- Premium tuna set for 2,834 yen
- Thin roll fatty tuna for 1,398 yen
Although a bit pricey, the sushi was delicious and made by a skilled chef right in front of me! The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Everything was tasty. Truly lives up to its name as a place with "Tsukiji" in it! Thank you for the meal.

Even during the state of emergency, this shop continues to serve alcohol, which is impressive. It is located near Asakusa ROX and close to the Tsukuba Express. The interior has both counter and table seating. The sushi is very delicious, especially the burdock rolls. The cleanliness of the interior may be lacking, but the sushi and alcohol are tasty, and I feel that the cost performance is good as they are open for business almost all the time. It's a shop I often visit.

I wanted to eat sashimi, so I came here. I was recommended the gilt-head bream, so I ordered gilt-head bream, bonito, and white squid. I also had gizzard shad and sardine nigiri. I love fresh oysters, so I couldn't resist ordering them. This restaurant serves delicious sashimi. The white squid was especially delicious.

I'm happy when I find a place open at times like this. I ordered bonito and blackthroat seaperch sashimi, and the blackthroat seaperch was delicious, which made me happy. It cost 2500 yen, but the quality matched the price. I enjoyed a little bit of sushi and felt satisfied! I also like the suction cups of octopus and the taste of ponzu sauce.

Dinner for the day was in Asakusa. I decided to stop by this place in front of TX Asakusa Station. It's convenient because I can return in just one train ride on the TX line. Inside, there are counter seats all the way to the back. The counter is marble-like and long, with space for two chefs to work. There are a few table seats in the back as well. The chefs make sushi with their bare hands, which is rare these days.
Appetizer: Assorted shellfish and flying fish roe with mayonnaise - ¥450 (excluding tax). It was very delicious.
Medium 8-piece sushi set - ¥1,880 (tax included ¥2,068). This was the most affordable sushi set, so I decided to start with this. However, it felt a bit lacking in premium ingredients.
White squid - ¥298 (tax included ¥327.8). They were out of flying squid, so I had white squid instead. It didn't have much flavor and had a strange texture.
Tuna belly - ¥348 (tax included ¥382.8). It had a good amount of fat, but the taste was lacking.
Pickled mustard leaf roll - ¥298 (tax included ¥327.8). I chose this affordable roll to fill me up. The pickled mustard leaf was extremely salty and difficult to chew.
Highball with Dewar's Scotch - ¥580 (excluding tax). It's nice to have highballs at a sushi restaurant.
Total: ¥4,136 (tax included). Overall, the location and opening hours are convenient, but the quality of the food and prices are a bit unbalanced.

People started calling me an old man for some reason... I had a solo counter drink to kick off the new year ^_^ I'm grateful that they are open 24 hours a day ^_^ They have fresh sushi in the display case. Behind the sushi chef, there is a large tank where fish swim. No matter which sushi I order, the taste always surprises me. In my opinion, it's always a delicious sushi restaurant. I was treated to a meal. ^_^

I had some errands to run at my parents' house, so after work, my son and I went to Asakusa. It was getting late, so we decided to have dinner on the way there. I thought my son would be happy, as he loves sushi, so we went to a sushi restaurant called Sushibun. We had sashimi platter, sushi, and his favorite umesuisho (laughs). Each dish was delicious and we had a great meal together!

First stop: Kazuchi, second stop: Snack YOU, and then we went to the third stop. It seems to be a sushi restaurant on the Kokusai Street that is open 24 hours. We were drawn in by the bright, shining exterior when we passed by. The appetizer was boiled whelk? My memory is a bit fuzzy. The shrimp sashimi was big and juicy! The white shrimp ponzu. Even though we had grilled white shrimp at Kazuchi, we had white shrimp again. The octopus sashimi had a good amount, but the texture and taste of the octopus were delicious! You tend to drink and eat too much at a late-night sushi restaurant, don't you? I think I split the bill with my friend. Oh, there was a 5% off coupon on Tabelog. I didn't know because I didn't have time to check Tabelog.

My go-to sushi restaurant when I'm in the mood for sushi is Sushi Ichiban, located within a 3-kilometer radius from my home. I visit this place around twice a month, sometimes even weekly. There is nothing particularly outstanding about it, but there is a good balance that I like. The staff, including the friendly manager who is like a mascot character, are all very pleasant (although there are some chefs who may seem a bit reserved towards new customers). The sushi may vary in quality depending on the day, but there are no bad options, and you can enjoy a different dining experience each time - whether you want a light snack with alcohol or a full sushi meal without alcohol. The customer base mainly consists of regulars from the Asakusa area at night, with occasional foreign visitors, so it's not as hectic as the sushi restaurants near Senso-ji Temple. I usually ask for the chef's recommendation, but my favorite unique order is the seared horse sashimi nigiri. The slightly charred and fatty horse sashimi melts in your mouth! If I don't move, I would love to continue visiting this restaurant. The only thing to note is that smoking is allowed in the evening for now (although it may become non-smoking before the Olympics), so it might bother those who are sensitive to smoke a bit.

Today, while taking a stroll in Asakusa, I decided to stop by a sushi restaurant to satisfy my hunger. I have been to their branch in Tsukiji before, but this was my first time in Asakusa. I entered the restaurant just before 6 pm, and at that time there were hardly any customers. However, after 6 pm, many regulars and other people started coming in. I started with a sashimi platter and sweet shrimp, which were quite delicious. Then, I enjoyed firefly squid marinated in vinegar, shirako with ponzu sauce, ankimo with ponzu sauce, and a delicious torotaku roll. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and grateful. Thank you very much. I look forward to visiting again!
