The restaurant has 4-person tables and a counter that extends towards the back, accommodating a good number of people. They offer a solo yakiniku menu, making it a good choice for solo diners, but they also have sets featuring high-quality Japanese beef that are affordable for groups. The meat in the sets comes marinated in a rich sauce, enhancing the flavor. Even though the tongue is also marinated, which may seem unusual, it was actually well-received by the group as they enjoyed it with rice. Cooking the meat over charcoal on a shichirin grill adds to the deliciousness. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Even though I had been drinking a lot of sake at the first place, I got sucked into a yakiniku restaurant on the way back. I toasted with highballs with my senior colleague and for some reason, they wanted to eat shiitake mushrooms, so we ordered them. Since we were already at a yakiniku restaurant, I looked at the menu but I wasn't in the mood for a lot of meat, so I ordered the salted beef tongue instead. The tongue was thick and tender, and the shiitake mushrooms were also meaty and delicious. It was my first time having yakiniku as a closing meal, but it wasn't bad at all. We stayed for about 30 minutes, and my senior colleague treated me.

On a Saturday evening after 6pm, my companion was in the mood for yakiniku, so we tried a nearby yakiniku restaurant, but it was full and we were turned away. We decided to head towards Nakano Station on Aisatsu-dori. We passed by Gyushige and ended up at Nihon Daibyo along Waseda-dori. Surprisingly, there were no other customers, so we had our pick of tables! We ordered some draft beer first, and although I usually make the choices, my companion was in full yakiniku mode and confidently ordered tongue, kalbi, harami, and nakaochi kalbi, two servings each. The restaurant also offered a selection of Japanese beef and lean cuts, which would have been better for my small-eating companion, but it couldn't be helped. With beer in hand, we looked at the menu and added some creamy liver and avocado kimchi. We were provided with a shichirin grill, and we started grilling the tongue first. It was indeed top-grade, with plenty of marbling, size, and thickness. It was juicy and had no gaminess at all. The harami was small but thick, with no gaminess and a satisfying texture. I switched to highball and continued grilling the meat. I forgot to take a picture of the kalbi, but it was sliced relatively thin, making it easy to eat, with just the right amount of fat making it tender. The nakaochi kalbi had more fat, making it more suitable for younger diners. The creamy liver was cooked at a low temperature and served with a salted sesame oil sauce, a classic combination that was delicious. I didn't try the avocado kimchi, as only my companion had it. As expected, after two rounds of tongue, harami, and kalbi, my companion was full. To finish off the meal and tackle the fatty nakaochi, we ordered some rice. The combination of meat fat, sauce, and rice was excellent! I had gone for a 5-kilometer jog earlier in the day, but it seemed to have been in vain. I needed something refreshing, so I ordered cold noodles as a closer and felt satisfied. It was a great meal! The restaurant was full about 40 minutes after we arrived, so we timed it well.

We had plans until before 10 PM, and decided to stop by for a light drink afterwards. There were only one other group of customers besides us. The staff were quick to respond and very kind, and the service was fast, which was great! Today's delicious items were: - Creamy liver (recommended for the day) 480 yen - Beef tongue, Harami, Cold noodles We split the bill at the table, so we shared various dishes and had a light drink, spending around 3600 yen per person for 4 people. I wish we could have stayed a little longer, but the food was delicious and satisfying.

I have visited this shop several times~ I always make a reservation and go with a few people, but the counter extends all the way to the back of the shop, giving the impression that it is bustling with solo customers enjoying yakiniku. So, someday, I must make my solo yakiniku debut, haha. The menu overall is reasonably priced, but the course with all-you-can-drink is really a great deal‼️ With the all-you-can-drink option, and if you feel like you need more, you can always add more meat without any problems~ And considering the quality of the meat at this price, it's really unbelievable‼️ If you're going to a major chain yakiniku restaurant, I definitely recommend this place~

Visited the second place with a friend. Instead of regular meat, we ordered some delicious-looking offal dishes from the photos. The beer was cold and served in clean glasses, and the food that came out was delicious. The chicken heart was well-prepared, drained of excess moisture, and tasty. The beef tongue was also delicious. I am satisfied with the meal. Next time, I want to go to the first place and try some regular cuts like sirloin. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about a yakiniku restaurant on the street that I passed through from my local area to Nakano. The restaurant has an impactful name, "Nihon Daihyo" (Japanese Representative), and boasts that solo yakiniku is also OK. They have a casual style with a counter and table seats, using charcoal grills to cook the meat. The Nihon Daihyo salad (Choregi) didn't quite live up to my expectations, as it lacked the typical Choregi salad elements like Korean seaweed. I opted for the assorted yakiniku platter (1,780 yen) when I couldn't decide, which included kalbi, harami, tongue, and loin, all marinated in sauce. I wished the tongue could have been enjoyed with lemon salt at the start, but they only offered it with sauce. The meat was decent overall, but considering they advertised A4 rank, I felt it was a bit lacking. I didn't try the hormone, pork belly, chicken thigh, sausage, or thick-cut bacon side dishes, so I might give it another try to explore more. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant is called "Japan Representative," but some of the staff don't seem to be Japanese. Well, even the rugby Japan representative team has a few non-Japanese players, so it's the era of our Japan representatives. In comparison, it's not really that strange for our restaurant. Vive La Team! Vive the Japanese representative of charcoal-grilled yakiniku. After all, even Nekohiroshi is probably representing Cambodia. Anyway, regardless of all that, the answer to the title is the yakiniku restaurant closest to our home. Just that alone gives it a rating of 3.7 points. Half jokingly, it's relatively cheap, tasty, and has good service, so it's rated 3.7 points. When we made a reservation on Tabelog, the restaurant even gave us chicken hearts on top of what we ordered. For a family of three (actually 2.3 people), it cost 9,500 yen. The portions were generous, and for once, I felt like my stomach was going to burst. No, maybe it was because of the beer. No, it was probably because I was the only one eating the liver, yukke, and chicken hearts. Anyway, the taste was good considering the price, and raw meat lovers will be happy with the low-temperature cooked liver and sakura yukke. The recommended fillet was also better than expected. The cost performance of this item alone seems quite high. Also, since they write "Hele" for fillet, the important person at this restaurant is probably from Kansai. Maybe they are representing Kansai. However, I don't really like things like "salt" that taste like MSG or overly sweet "sauce," so I plan to ask if they can serve it without seasoning next time. I was drawn in by the name of the restaurant and saw a sign at the entrance saying "solo BBQ OK." The interior mainly has counter seats, making it easy to enter. They have a menu for solo diners, with an 8 kinds of meat platter for 1,100 yen, along with draft beer and rice available for order. You can enjoy various types of meat in small portions. There is also a daily special selection included, which seems to be quite good quality meat. They seem to be open late at night as well, so it's a versatile option. I will definitely go back!

Recently opened, this restaurant recommends solo dining for yakiniku. Due to its location, it's quite empty during the day, but when I went around 22:00 after drinking in Shinjuku, it was moderately crowded. As expected, the 8-kind assortment for 1100 yen is excellent, with each piece individually served. The kimchi is a bit spicy, but it's a type with less acidity, making it suitable for Japanese taste. The restaurant is long and narrow like an eel's bed, but on the contrary, it's quite nice for dining alone as you don't have to worry about the people around you.

Located a little over 5 minutes walk from Nakano Station, this yakiniku restaurant along Waseda Street offers a spacious counter seating area, with a menu specifically designed for solo diners. Be sure to check out the daily recommendations for a better deal. As I was walking along Waseda Street, I came across a neat little yakiniku restaurant. A sign that read "Solo Diners Welcome!" caught my eye, and the owner greeted me warmly from inside. Since it was still early and the place was not crowded, I decided to step in. The interior had an L-shaped counter and more seating towards the back. There were only two tables, making it perfect for small groups. I started with a draft beer while browsing through the menu. In addition to the regular menu, they also had a menu specifically for solo diners. I decided to try some items from there. - Kimchi Assortment (Half) 450 yen A mix of kimchi made with Chinese cabbage, radish, burdock, and celery. It had a nice level of spiciness. I particularly enjoyed the crunchy burdock kimchi. It served as a great side dish for the yakiniku and also paired well with drinks. - Solo Diner Set 1,100 yen A combination of the classic meats - kalbi, loin, and harami. The fact that the meats were frozen was understandable considering the price. The charcoal grill provided good heat, enhancing the flavor of the meats, which were of good quality. For the price and portion, it was definitely worth it. I also added a tomato sour, which I've been enjoying lately. - Chicken Heart 300 yen I chose this from the daily recommendations for its affordable price. It was surprisingly generous in portion and tasted delicious even when cooked rare. The cost-performance ratio was excellent. The daily recommendations are definitely worth checking out. I was tempted to try some hormone as well, but the hormone assortment was around 200g, so I opted for a single item. - Intestine (Te-chan) Price forgotten A thick and flavorful large intestine arrived. I cooked it slowly with the skin side down. It was well-prepared with no unpleasant odor, and the richness was as expected. The base sauce was also to my liking. Despite being run by just the owner at the early hours, the service was friendly throughout, allowing me to leisurely enjoy solo yakiniku.

Late-night yakiniku for solo dining. The restaurant has many counter seats and a variety of menu options for solo diners. The staff is friendly and kind. I ordered the Wagyu four kinds platter, which included premium kalbi, select lean meat, sirloin, tenderloin, salad, Chinese cabbage kimchi, yukhoe, jjangkuk, and tomato juice. Highly recommended for solo diners and also for women. Overall rating for yakiniku in Nakano area is 4 out of 5. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely visit again.

There are more menu options for solo diners! The Half Top Sirloin Plate starting from Ichiban Shibori Draft Beer for 1200 yen (excluding tax) is the best value for money. Unfortunately, the filet is sold out this time. The Samgyeopsal Set includes 6 pieces of pork belly, 6 pieces of lettuce, and a half portion of kimchi - perfect for one person. The Morioka Cold Noodles are a great way to finish the meal. Thank you for the feast!

Last year, a new restaurant opened with a main counter open kitchen! There are also female solo customers, and you can easily see the inside from the outside. The low-temperature cooked liver is delicious and I couldn't resist getting seconds. The upper tongue is fatty and delicious, while the middle rib has a sweet fatty taste. There are tables in the back, so I might come back with my family on the weekend. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to dining alone, going to a yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant can be quite intimidating. However, this particular restaurant has counter seats near the entrance and table seats in the back, making it a bit more welcoming for solo diners. They even have a special menu for solo customers, so it's safe to say that this place is solo diner-friendly. I visited this restaurant alone and ordered a medium-sized beer (500 yen + tax) and the solo set which includes kalbi, loin, and harami (1,100 yen + tax). The solo set can only be ordered by solo customers, so if there are couples around, you can eat it proudly to make them jealous. Though it might just make you feel more miserable. The meat was served quite quickly, probably because the loin and kalbi were thinly sliced. It's important to pay attention to the grilling process as the meat can easily get overcooked due to the close distance between the grill and the charcoal. Especially be careful not to overcook the loin as it can become dry. Since I'm dining alone without a conversation partner, I'm doing just fine. The quality of the meat is average, fitting the price range. It's a good place to go when you want slightly better meat than what you'd find at Gyukaku or Gyuho. The sauce was a bit salty. They also stay open late, so it could be a good alternative to a slightly expensive drinking spot. If they offered a solo set with tongue, harami, and skirt steak, I would definitely use it as a substitute for a horumon (offal) grill. However, despite the name "Nihon Daihyo" (Japanese representative), the staff were conversing fluently in Korean with regular customers.

The sauce could be improved as it was too salty for the stew and soup.

The counter yakiniku restaurant near the north exit of Nakano Station is bright and clean, which is nice. Started with a beer and a yakiniku platter! It includes loin, kalbi, harami, tongue, and tripe, so happy~ The premium kalbi melts in your mouth. The cheese chijimi for 480 yen is cheap and delicious! It was a bit slow to come out, but I forgive that! I'm happy that they are open until 3 am.
