Delicious! But expensive! Tartar sauce is included with one order for over 500 yen. Two tartar sauces are included with orders over 1,000 yen. The container is more sturdy and durable than any other place I've been to. I bet it would be so tasty if it was freshly fried!

Fried chicken bento with two types of fried chicken, 4 pieces in total with salt and sweet and savory sauce flavors chosen. The fried chicken is large and has a satisfying texture! Juicy and tender meat! The rice portion is average but quite generous! The rice goes well with the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and kelp tsukudani placed in the corner. It was delicious! It was a busy lunchtime on a weekday. The parking lot was full and it was hard to find a spot. There is also an eat-in space, so those who dine in might end up staying longer. The open kitchen inside was bustling with multiple staff working diligently. After paying, we received our bento boxes to take home. Later, I realized that the soy sauce bento was priced higher than the salt bento. So, we decided to do a taste comparison between the two. The soy sauce had a nice savory aroma from being heated. But the salt bento was also delicious. The chicken Nanban had a tender and juicy texture with a subtle taste of breast meat. The tartar sauce with scallop or kamaboko added a nice touch. It was good. However, the cabbage under the fried chicken could have been skipped. Overall, the bento boxes were reasonably satisfying, and I would consider visiting again.

It seemed to be a chain store. I ordered the Tori Saburo fried chicken bento for 580 yen, which came with 4 pieces of fried chicken, cabbage, and pickles. I ate in my car and found the cabbage portion to be small and slightly bitter. The rice was too soft, but the fried chicken had a strong, savory flavor with a thick coating. It might be better to take the fried chicken home to fully enjoy it. Overall, it was a decent meal.

I visited the restaurant right after they opened and noticed that they had changed the containers for the bento boxes. They also added shrimp tempura to the menu. They have a dining area where you can eat in, and they provide free tea. The only thing that bothered me was that they didn't ask if I wanted my order for takeout or dining in, so even though I was dining in, they still put my food in a bag... It felt like a waste. A specialty fried chicken shop opened up. When the shop first opened, it was surprisingly crowded. I thought it was because it had just opened, but its popularity never died down. Even now, when I pass by on weekends, there is a security guard directing cars in the parking lot. I've been meaning to go there, but haven't been able to. Finally decided to check on Eat Log to see until what time they are open. I searched but couldn't find it. I was searching hard for "Torijiro" but it was actually "Torisaburo" (laughs). No wonder it didn't show up in the search. I thought they closed at 9, but last order is at 8:30. That was close! I thought it was only for takeout, but they actually have seating inside and it's quite spacious. I bought the Yokohama soy sauce bento (4 pieces for 580 yen) and chicken wings (1 piece for 150 yen x 2). The fried chicken bento had Yokohama soy sauce, salt umami, and sweet sauce flavors, so I chose Yokohama soy sauce. There was a mixed option to enjoy two flavors, wish I had noticed earlier. You can choose 4, 5, or 6 pieces of fried chicken. The Yokohama soy sauce flavor had a nice touch of garlic and ginger, and the seasoning was tasty. The meat was juicy. But the flavor was quite strong... A friend mentioned that the flavor was weak in their review, so maybe it varies depending on who makes it? The chicken wings also had a strong flavor, and went well with rice. It's a bit too strong for my taste, but I can see why it's popular. Many people were picking up their orders after making reservations.

The chicken karaage here is delicious, with each piece being large and tasty. It's so close to home, and much better than making it myself, so whenever I crave karaage, I come here to buy instead of cooking. I had 3 pieces of fried chicken and chicken cutlet for just under 700 yen. The fried chicken was large and the rice wasn't enough. It was very delicious with garlic, salt, and tartar sauce. This is definitely going to be popular.

I ordered the Yokohama soy sauce fried chicken bento with 4 pieces for 580 yen and waited for about 8 minutes. The timing may vary, but this time I got freshly fried, piping hot chicken. Honestly, it was so hot that I burned my mouth, but it was delicious, so I'd say it evens out to being okay! If I had to ask for something more, I would like a little more cabbage in the bento!

I didn't have time to cook dinner, so I came to buy some fried food as a side dish. The variety pack L for 1750 yen includes three types of fried food, such as chicken wings and potatoes, in abundance. It's enough for four people to eat until they're full. You don't need to choose each item you want to eat, which is convenient. You can also eat inside the store, but no one was eating there due to the change in consumption tax. It seems like Torisaburo will continue to be my go-to place when in need.

I couldn't go out to have lunch, so I came here to buy food. Chicken Nanban Bento 580 yen, Salted Fried Chicken Bento (5 pieces) 670 yen, Large Shrimp Salted Fried Chicken Bento 750 yen. The tartar sauce on the Chicken Nanban is dynamic with lots of chopped eggs. For the fried chicken, I prefer the salt flavor over soy sauce or sweet sauce. I wasn't expecting much from the large shrimp, but they were surprisingly big and delicious. The bento boxes come with plenty of rice, so you'll definitely be full. You can eat inside the store, but it can be a bit crowded with people waiting for their orders. The waiting time isn't too bad though, and I'll probably come back if I feel like having fried chicken again.

I bought a pack of 4 and got 5 instead! Maybe it's a freebie...?

I've never had such crispy fried chicken before. If it was closer, I think I would visit frequently. It's really delicious.
