On this day, I was really in the mood for yakiniku. So my wife and I decided to visit Yu Genten, the top-tier series of Jyuban'en. They are open all day on weekends, which is very convenient. We arrived around 2:30 pm, ready to have dinner early. The place was almost always full, showing how popular it is. The luxurious interior of Yu Genten lives up to its name, and the spacious semi-private seating adds to the relaxed atmosphere. For me, when it comes to yakiniku, Jyuban'en is the best. While many high-end yakiniku restaurants offer unique dishes and styles, I still think of Jyuban'en as the top choice for yakiniku. We started with a glass of Shiraho Nama and enjoyed dishes like Hakusai Kimchi, Nasu Kimchi, Jyuban'en Salad, Spicy Salad, and Yukke. The kimchi and salads at Jyuban'en have set the standard for me, and the flavor of the Yukke and sauce is also top-notch. For the meat, we had the Wagyu Negi Tan Shio and Upper Harami, both of which were delicious. The service at Jyuban'en is swift and attentive, and even the side dishes like Shishito peppers, green onions, and carrots were excellent. The white rice was also exceptionally tasty, and the variety of drinks available was impressive. Despite feeling satisfied, we couldn't resist ordering the JO Kalbi. It was a great decision, as the flavorful Kalbi was a perfect way to end the meal. It was light yet packed with umami, and had a hint of wildness to it. It reminded me of the Kalbi I had in Korea. Jyuban'en never fails to meet my expectations, and I look forward to continuing to dine there for years to come. It was truly delicious.

I finally made it! I have watched it on TV many times, but visiting in person for the first time! As I passed through the door of the restaurant with dancing excitement, I was greeted with the best welcome. They lifted my spirits even before I sat down. I ordered the famous "tongue" as the main dish. Each dish had a special flavor. The meat was marinated for a long time and tasted delicious no matter which one I tried. The tongue, in particular, was exceptionally delicious. The cucumber kimchi and salad were also really tasty. Of course, the prices are on the higher side, but I am completely satisfied.
I received a meal voucher for Jyubanen from a friend, so I decided to go to Yugentei for the first time as a celebration with my family! It was a building dedicated to Jyubanen, and when I looked at the elevator guide, it seemed like there were about three floors of private rooms. We didn't use a private room, but the space was comfortable as we were separated from other groups by walls. It was a bit too cold due to the air conditioning, so we asked for adjustments. The meat was all very tender! Even though it was thick, it wasn't tough at all, and had a melting texture. Also, the red wine we ordered at the restaurant was very delicious.

I was planning to write a review, but it turns out it's a yakiniku restaurant with 100 seats. I didn't know because I'm not interested in yakiniku. Sorry. It's the third round. After finishing the second round, a group of people from Ichigaya and Minato Ward shared a taxi ride. This group was not great. I was tired and planned to drop them off one by one on my way home, but they didn't show any appreciation for the arrangements I made. I thought to myself, just let me go home, but I smiled and went along with it. We got off near Nishi-Azabu intersection without a plan and ended up here. One person who lives nearby is a heavy user of this place. It's true that it's rare to find a place where you can relax so comfortably around 11 PM, especially not a place with hostesses. We were taken to the second floor as the first floor was being cleaned up. We sat in a semi-private room and were already full. The drinks were also flowing nicely. I had two green tea highballs. We shared some celery kimchi and beef tongue (probably thickly sliced salted tongue) among the three of us, along with 2-3 drinks each. Sorry for using the place like a cafe. The beef tongue was indeed delicious. One of the people who kept insisting on staying fell asleep. I had already suggested leaving. Thank you as always. Well, that person seems to be a heavy user of this place, so please understand. Sorry. No photos. Just one BREO left in my hand.

I was taken to this restaurant by someone I am grateful to. It was a reunion after 10 years, and I was nervous as I brought my family along. They reserved the best table for us, a spacious tatami room with low tables and chairs, very calming. The service was excellent. They even set up makeshift beds for the kids by putting two chairs together with towels. The luxurious dishes kept coming - thick-cut tongue, yukhoe, galbi, marinated galbi, loin, skirt steak... all tender and juicy. Not to mention the delicious salads, kimchi, namul, and wrap vegetables with condiments. They kept adding more dishes, and I ended up eating too much. The beer and wine were also very tasty. We had great conversations about the past and future, and I am truly grateful for this connection. It was a memorable feast.
