Tonight, I visited with a friend again! We ordered the sashimi platter A set for 1400 yen and some local sake. Surprisingly, the sashimi platter included abalone sashimi, which was quite luxurious. The local sakes from all over Japan were served in full bottles, which was a great deal. Both the dry and sweet sakes were delicious. The fish in the sashimi platter was fresh, and my friend, who knows a shop near a famous fishing port in Kumamoto, also highly praised it. Whether you want to casually drink or entertain guests, this is a recommended restaurant in the Asakusa area! Thank you for the meal.

Established in the 3rd year of the Taisho era, "Nariichi Sakaihama" is a direct-operated store of Toyosu wholesale market. It is a delicious and cost-effective sushi restaurant. ■Order Details - Lunch Chirashi Don (1200 yen): Includes 7 types of sashimi, shrimp, ikura, tamago, and pickles. The quality of the ingredients is good considering the price. The texture is firm and the presentation is beautiful. It also comes with salad, miso soup, and dessert. The miso soup even has small fish pieces in it, which is a nice touch. Overall, it offers good value for money. ■Random Note The "Gold Medal Don" (2800 yen) also looked delicious and tempting.

This was my second visit. Located slightly off the beaten path in Asakusa, it's great that you can enter without having to wait in line with tourists. I enjoy being able to order sushi piece by piece and try out different flavors with the small bottles of sake available. Yesterday, my friend and I spent around 8000 yen, so it's not cheap, but the quality of the sushi is much better than what you would find at chain restaurants. I definitely want to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The store had an elegant atmosphere both inside and out, and I was able to relax comfortably. I ordered a seafood bowl and fresh oysters this time. First, the oysters arrived, but the chef kindly upgraded them to rock oysters as a service. They were huge, had a good chewy texture, and were among the best oysters I've ever had. Next, the seafood bowl arrived. It was beautifully arranged with vibrant colors and looked very attractive! The freshness was outstanding and it was incredibly delicious!

This is one of my favorite restaurants that I visited before starting my food blog! It's a famous seafood bowl restaurant in Asakusa!! The Gold Medal Donburi is known for its large portion and extremely fresh ingredients!! That caught my attention, so I decided to check it out ⭐️ Gold Medal Donburi ⭐️ 2020 yen This exceeded my expectations haha. What stood out the most was the height rather than the price haha. It's about 20 centimeters tall!! I was impressed by how it didn't topple over haha. The ingredients were a bit blurry, but I think it included tuna tataki, otoro, chutoro, akami, flounder, sea bream, yellowtail, amberjack, shrimp, horse mackerel, scallop, salmon, octopus, ikura, tobiko, and tamago! I wasn't sure how to eat it properly and asked the staff for advice. They mentioned that many people prefer to eat the sashimi on a separate plate! So I got a separate plate and tried eating it like a sashimi set! Each piece of sashimi was fresh and made me happy. The volume and price of this dish are amazing!! The fatty tuna melts in your mouth, the amberjack has a nice balance of fat, and the shiny fish were great too. The tuna tataki was different from other places, with a generous amount of octopus, scallop, and other sashimi pieces, making it a luxurious dish on its own! The tuna tataki alone was incredibly delicious. However, since it seemed never-ending, I asked how much was left, and it was over 1 kilogram in total! You can enjoy a generous amount of seafood with this amazing bowl! ⭐️ Drinks ⭐️ I ordered a highball, which was just okay haha. It's a bit pricey, but it goes well with sashimi!! ✨ Overall impression ✨ The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and clean! The seats are reasonably spaced apart. The staff are polite and willing to answer any questions! Although Asakusa is not a place I visit often, I would definitely want to come back to this restaurant! The taste, presentation, atmosphere, and staff are all top-notch in my opinion. It's a convenient place for any occasion, whether you're dining alone, on a date, with family, or friends! The Giant Chutoro eaten with a spoon is also famous, so next time, I want to try the chutoro and sushi!! By the way, my companion couldn't finish their meal and ended up feeling stuffed after eating about half of it haha. Since I ate that, I wasn't hungry at night haha. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious seafood in a hearty portion. If you love seafood, I urge you to visit this place!! I also plan to visit for a seafood refill during the summer vacation.

I revisited this place after enjoying the seafood bowl last time. This time I ordered sushi, grilled fish, and finished with pudding. The tuna sushi was delicious as expected. The sea urchin had no bitterness and was good. The sea bream was plump and easy to eat, although I'm not sure if it was in season. Lastly, I ordered the pudding. It was quite authentic for a sushi restaurant pudding, with a smooth texture but a slight firmness when you first bite into it. This was an exquisite dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

This is the coveted Gold Medal Donburi that I've been wanting to eat so badly, and finally got to eat in 2020 when the Tokyo Olympics were held. When it was first released, it cost 2020 yen to match the year of the event, but now it's an amazing deal at 2800 yen. The appearance is impressive, but it's even more amazing when you taste it! On top of the rice, there's a fist-sized portion of minced tuna, and on top of that, there's tuna, medium-fatty tuna, yellowtail, horse mackerel, salmon, squid, shrimp, salmon roe, and tamagoyaki, among other things. It's quite a large amount, with just eating it being over 1 kg. The Gold Medal Donburi that I've been dreaming of, I enjoyed it deliciously with all my might.

I mistakenly couldn't eat the gold medal donburi I was aiming for, so I ordered a lunch set of sushi (13 pieces) instead. The sushi that the chef carefully made was all delicious! Including chu-toro, akami, hirame, kanpachi, shima aji, katsuo, salmon, scallop, and spear squid. All of this for $16 is very cost-effective. The price is that of a conveyor belt sushi, but the taste is authentic.

During my visit to Asakusa, I went to a sushi restaurant that I have been frequenting lately. This time, I decided to try the "Gold Medal Donburi" that I have been curious about, along with a draft beer. First, the beer and appetizer arrived. The simmered dish for the appetizer was also quite tasty. After a while, the long-awaited Gold Medal Donburi was served. In many cases, the actual dish at restaurants tends to look less appealing than the sample photos, but here it looked exactly the same! It was overflowing with toppings, and the taste was exceptional. The only minor issue was that the minced fish in the middle was slightly frozen, but other than that, there were no negative points. I enjoyed it very much!

I went to Asakusa Temple to pray and decided to have sushi on the way back. I found Tsukiji Tadashi Saburo Sushi Asakusa Branch, which is directly managed by Toyosu Market Wholesaler, and it looked delicious so I decided to go there. After leaving Asakusa Temple, passing through Denboin Street, and heading north on Hoppy Street, I found the restaurant at the end of the street. I was considering ordering sushi, but when I looked at the menu, the Gold Medal Donburi looked delicious, so I ordered that! Additionally, the naming of "You're in the Middle" was interesting, so I ordered that too! A regular seafood bowl just has sliced fish on top of the rice, but the Gold Medal Donburi was completely different. It only had about half of the rice in the bowl, and on top of that, there were beautifully arranged tuna, chu-toro, yellowtail, salmon, squid, shrimp, salmon roe, negitoro, tamagoyaki, etc. The negitoro had bits of octopus and tamagoyaki mixed in, changing the texture and preventing diners from getting bored. All of this for 2800 yen was a great deal! "You're in the Middle" was something you had to carve and eat yourself, but if you gradually shave and eat it as a snack with alcohol, it would be a great accompaniment. Eating the remaining meat around the bones after taking out the tuna meat is like how spare ribs are the best part of beef, and I think it's the best part of tuna as well. And you get two of those for 1000 yen per serving, which is surprisingly affordable! You can enjoy a variety of other sushi and set menu items at reasonable prices. It's a casual place where you can enjoy sushi and seafood dishes. It's recommended for post-Asakusa Temple visit dining or for families.

The Gold Medal Donburi was raised from 2020 yen to 2800 yen, but I still think it offers good value for the money. It consists of a variety of diced sashimi topped with minced tuna and surrounded by slices of fresh sashimi. The sashimi was all very fresh. Despite being able to eat a lot, I struggled more with getting tired of the flavors rather than the volume, but managed to finish it all. I enjoyed the pickled radish and ginger as palate cleansers, although the slightly sweet and less acidic vinegar rice complemented the seafood well. The complimentary soup that came with the set was a nice touch. Overall, I was very satisfied with the amount of seafood in the bowl for the price. I visited on a Sunday, so it wasn't part of the lunch menu, but they kindly served me a pudding that usually comes with the lunch set at the end.

Yesterday's lunch was at "Tsukiji Ryunosuke Sushi" (Asakusa branch). The restaurant is located at the northern end of Asakusa Rokku (photo 1)... Photo 2 shows the lunch menu displayed in front of the restaurant. I entered a little after 1 pm. The inside of the restaurant was empty. Perhaps because it is located in a competitive area and it was past lunchtime. I decided to order the lunch chirashi as I thought nigiri sushi might take longer. It arrived in about 4 minutes (photo 3). The fish was fresh and well-prepared, very delicious. The salad was not just a token gesture, it was well-made, and it even came with a dessert pudding, all for just 1,000 yen. The miso soup was also of decent quality. In terms of cost performance, it was quite good (although the rice portion was a bit small). The service was polite, and when I finished my tea and left the empty cup on the table, the lady at the restaurant asked if I wanted a refill and poured me another cup. I think it's a great restaurant. I felt a warm atmosphere. I would recommend this place.

I was drawn in by the market-style atmosphere inside the store and ended up trying the food at Toyosu Market Market Hamakawa, which is directly managed by the store. You can also take out the food, but I decided to eat inside. The sashimi was delicious, but what impressed me the most was the fried horse mackerel and grilled fish. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The volume is amazing!! I was drawn to this place by the vibrant photos at the storefront. It might be more popular with women! Anyway, I was happy with the generous amount of negitoro. The salmon and tuna were fresh and delicious. It may not be the top quality, but with this amount, there's nothing to complain about, right?

I visited this restaurant for the first time after giving up on the seafood bowl I had researched for lunch. I had been struggling to find a good sushi restaurant for lunch, so I was relieved to stumble upon this place. I ordered the Assorted Nigiri (1700 yen), Tuna Nigiri Set (2000 yen), and "Teme de Nakaochi" (800 yen). The "Teme de Nakaochi" was surprisingly unique - you have to shave off the tuna belly yourself. It was actually quite fun, and I was able to get a lot of it. It was a bit disappointing that it was slightly frozen, but I still managed to get a good amount. The prices were very reasonable, considering the quality of the fish which was delivered directly from Tsukiji Market. Every piece of sushi was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. It was a great lunch experience.

I ordered the Tuna Nigiri Set (1320 yen, 9 pieces of nigiri and negi-ma soup set). Even though I ordered, they didn't bring out tea until I asked, and when it finally came, it was lukewarm. I asked for a replacement, but they didn't bring one. After waiting for about 15 minutes, they brought out dried horse mackerel bones as a "service". It wasn't freshly grilled. After waiting another 5 minutes, the nigiri finally arrived. It took 20 minutes to get sushi at a sushi restaurant, which is way too slow with 2 kitchen staff and 1 floor staff. The quality of the fish like tuna, bonito, and white fish was decent. The simmered conger eel was mediocre, but the horse mackerel was delicious. However, the sushi rice was a bit too soft. The negi-ma soup was quite tasty. Just as I finished eating, they brought a small dish with dried baby sardines on top. I wonder what's going on with this "service".

The Tekkadzukuri set for 1320 yen includes 9 pieces of sushi, spinach ohitashi, and soup, making it very cost-effective. The sushi pieces are small and easy to eat, with no disappointments in the toppings. The scallops in particular were surprisingly similar to those in Hokkaido. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was empty except for one group. Why is it so empty? If I had to say, the non-sushi-like background music and the non-sushi-like attire of the staff are a bit off.

I dropped by for lunch on a weekday without a reservation and was able to get a seat. I had a meal of Kamakura vegetables, spinach miso soup, and 9 pieces of sushi (I requested to change the tuna to salmon) for ¥1100 (tax included). The spinach miso soup seemed to have more flavor than before and was delicious! The sushi pieces were very large and tasty. The rice portion was a bit small, but the restaurant had a clean and bright interior, making it a comfortable place to dine. I will definitely visit again!

I had a sudden craving for Ichiran ramen in the early afternoon today, so I drove to Asakusa. Before that, I stumbled upon Tsukuda-san's place! My son insisted that this place was better than ramen, but I promised to have ramen first! So we went there, even though he was not happy about it. It turned out to be an amazing restaurant! Normally it's fully booked, but due to the COVID-19 self-restraint, we had the place to ourselves today. They even gave us complimentary soup and dessert. Thank you, manager! I would love to visit this place again at a more leisurely pace.

On weekdays, there were three lunch menu options: Lunch Donburi for 900 yen, Lunch Sushi for 1100 yen, and Lunch Sushi 1.5 times for 1600 yen. Lunch comes with negima soup and Kamakura vegetable appetizer. The Kamakura vegetable appetizer changes daily, and on this day, it was komatsuna and shirasu ohitashi. I ordered the Lunch Sushi for 1100 yen, which included 10 pieces of assorted sushi. The komatsuna and shirasu ohitashi was served immediately after ordering. About 5 minutes later, the negima soup and Lunch Sushi were served. The presentation looked stylish, but the shrimp was laid sideways and the scallop was cracked. The sushi included medium fatty tuna, red snapper, flounder, sweet shrimp, bonito, yellowtail, sardine, scallop, and eel, making it quite luxurious for the price. However, upon counting, there were only 9 pieces instead of 10. The rice was on the smaller side. The quality of the sushi was good, with the medium fatty tuna being fatty, the red snapper having a nice texture, and the bonito being enhanced by the garlic jelly on top. The eel was tender. The negima soup was piping hot and had a piece of tuna in it, which was also delicious. Overall, I think it was worth the price.
