Tonight, I enjoyed Hichinai Jidori with my mom in Minami Aoyama. We had dinner at the yakitori specialty restaurant "Minami Aoyama Toriya Sachi" (I just realized it's a pun on "Toriya Koutte"?) The Minami Aoyama branch of "Toriya Sachi" has been featured in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years. The luxurious space with a deep counter is lovely. We were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxing atmosphere with wonderful hospitality. We ordered the 4800 yen course menu plus some a la carte items. We toasted with champagne and beer. We had a selection of five fresh vegetables, including surprisingly sweet Satsuma sweet potatoes. It was a summer-like assortment. My mom's favorite Junmai Daiginjo sake, Dassai 23, was poured into a glass, which was very stylish. We had Iburi Gakko cheese, which my mom said was the most delicious Iburi Gakko she had ever eaten in her life! The cheese sandwich was very stylish. We also had foie gras and white liver pate, grated yam, chicken breast and avocado tartare, and six skewers of Hichinai Jidori yakitori, including chicken breast, chicken tenderloin (lightly grilled on the outside for a stylish presentation), negima, honjiru, tsukune, and tebasaki, all cooked to perfection with an amazing crispy and juicy texture. The craftsmanship was evident, especially with the tender chicken tenderloin. We also had three skewers of carefully selected vegetable skewers, with performances such as grating cheese over zucchini and tomatoes. Each skewer was grilled by the craftsman in front of us using high-quality charcoal, allowing us to fully enjoy the fragrant and flavorful taste. We also enjoyed Wakayama's "Ito Farm Mikan Shibori" and Amaou strawberry sake, which paired perfectly with the yakitori. Cute sake like this really lifts the mood. We shared the Hichinai Jidori soboro rice at the end, which was beautifully presented. Despite being full, my mom and I wanted to try it, along with the gentle-flavored soboro, chicken broth soup, and pickles. Finally, we had a rich pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs. It was incredibly rich and smooth, with a taste I had never experienced before. It was delicious. I recommend this restaurant for business meetings, dates, and other occasions. Thank you for the meal.

The food is safe and stable, providing a sense of comfort and security. The portion size in the middle range is good and offers great value for money. The service is prompt and efficient. It would have been nice if the staff paid a bit more attention to the customers around, as it was difficult to order drinks from the corner seats.

After a long time, I went to a cozy counter yakitori restaurant in Omotesando. I chose the ¥4800 course as I wasn't feeling too confident about my stomach lately, and I was able to add on 6 skewers, liver, and bonjiri. Overall, I was very satisfied with the grilling, flavors, drinks, and service. I may have had a bit too much wine, sparkling sake, and other drinks.

Located in a building along the Antiques Street, the Ginza main store is a Michelin Bib Gourmand award-winning restaurant! Enjoy dishes such as Hichinai Jidori chicken tataki, assorted Hichinai Jidori chicken skewers, vegetable skewers, chawanmushi, tsukune skewers, parent-child rice bowl, rich pudding, and Skamorza cheese skewers. Every skewer is tender and juicy, and the other dishes are also delicious. It was so tasty!

Descending underground and opening the door took a little courage, but the staff were all very kind, and we had a fun meal. There was consideration such as asking about any food dislikes at the beginning, which I thought was wonderful. It's a restaurant that is a bit of a stretch for those in their 20s, but I had a great time with my friends. The fact that Korean idols had visited and enjoyed the food was the reason I went, and I would like to go again.

Located near an area lined with top brand stores in Minami Aoyama, this restaurant is hidden underground behind a discreet door. I visited with an old acquaintance for a meal after a long time, and the place exuded an elegant atmosphere distinct from your typical yakitori restaurant. We opted for the standard course, which offered a satisfying portion. The dishes like bonjiri and tsukune were flavorful and well-prepared. While the prices are on the higher side compared to regular yakitori places, I believe this restaurant is suitable for special occasions like anniversaries or business entertainment.

Located along the Antique Street with easy access. I had the 7700 yen course at the counter seats. Started with a toast with Perrier Jouet Grand Brut champagne. Course included: - Assorted selected vegetables with olive oil and rock salt - Grilled skewers of Hinai-jidori chicken (4 types) - Grated daikon radish - Three daily specials - Seasonal vegetable skewers (2 types) - Special tsukune skewers with Nagoya Cochin egg yolk - Hinai-jidori chicken white broth ramen or Nagoya Cochin egg over rice with chicken white broth soup - Daily ice cream (chestnut flavor) The grilled chicken skewers were the highlight, cooked over charcoal to perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside. The warm tomato cheese dish and vegetables added variety to the course, which was delicious. The shared main dish was outstanding, and the rice and noodles were also excellent. Recommended highball was also delicious. The visit left me wanting to return to this fantastic restaurant.

I visited this shop in Omotesando, although they have other locations in Ginza and elsewhere. I chose a course without rice from the three available options. There are no photos, but for the appetizer, I had my favorite liver. It was cooked in a low tone, like eating raw liver, which made me happy. Before the skewers, there were plenty of colorful and stylish vegetables to enjoy, making it a course that women would appreciate. The skewers were deliciously grilled, and I couldn't stop eating them. Even though there was no rice dish, the course had plenty of dishes, so I was very satisfied. I enjoyed plenty of drinks, so I recommend the course without a main dish. Thank you for the feast.

- Access: 3 minutes walk from Omotesando Station on various Tokyo Metro lines - Number of visits: First time - Purpose: Dinner with friends - Overview: Located in Minami Aoyama, "Toriya Kou" also has shops in Ginza and Roppongi. The Ginza main store has been nominated for the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand for two consecutive years, and is popular for offering high-quality yakitori at a reasonable price. The official website of the restaurant is here: https://toriya-kou-minamiaoyama.com/ - Menu: You can choose from course menus or à la carte. Courses start from around 4,000 yen. On this day, we had the recommended omakase course for 8,800 yen, which included a variety of dishes such as selected vegetables, Hichinicho chicken tataki, grilled chicken skewers, seasonal vegetables skewers, special tsukune skewers with Nagoya Cochin egg yolk, chicken oyakodon, chicken white soup, and rich pudding with Nagoya Cochin egg. - Impression: The deliciousness of the yakitori was outstanding, but what left a strong impression was the high quality of the creatively crafted Japanese dishes. The Hichinicho chicken tataki at the beginning was wonderfully tender, with a strong taste of the chicken itself. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful, and the balance with the skewers was well done. We used a private room on this day, and it was very convenient with a luxurious atmosphere. The counter also had a nice ambiance, suitable for dates. A restaurant that will be useful in the Aoyama area. Thank you for the meal. - Score at the time of visit: 3.08

Today's visit was to Minami Aoyama Toriyasai. Minami Aoyama Toriyasai is a yakitori specialty restaurant where you can enjoy Hinai-jidori chicken. It is the sister store that has been featured in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years, showcasing its exceptional skills. You can savor a yakitori course centered around salt-grilled dishes that bring out the full flavor of the ingredients. Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere created by the indirect lighting is pleasantly moody. The interior is perfect for a date, and this time we ordered the 8000 yen course. Here is a summary of the dishes we enjoyed: - Appetizer: Black sesame heart cooked with a low tone. The texture of the heart and the flavor of the sesame complement each other perfectly. - Chicken breast caprese liver cooked with a low tone. The sesame oil and texture create a delicious combination. - Thigh and breast of Hinai-jidori chicken, each with a crispy surface and a rare juiciness inside. - Seasonal vegetables: Purple sweet potato, silk sweet, ice plant, kabocha squash, red kuri daikon. Each vegetable's deliciousness can be felt with rock salt and olive oil. - Furi-sode: Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, showcasing a delicious texture. - Foie gras and white liver pate with ginkgo nuts. The smoothness of the liver and the rich umami of the meat create a delicious combination. - Amela tomato: A high-sugar tomato that offers warmth, tenderness, umami, and acidity all at once. - Black abalone mushroom: A delicious dish with a high level of flavor and a refreshing texture. - Nagoya Cochin tsukune: Ground chicken ham and fig. The combination of fig and ham is excellent. - Oyako-don: Smooth and delicious with a strong dashi flavor and a good texture of the chicken. - Pudding: A rich sweetness that is delicious. The course ended with a variety of creative dishes that were not just limited to yakitori. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the creative touch added to the enjoyment. The restaurant's ambiance is also outstanding, making it suitable for various occasions. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Let's go to Toriyakou? Let's have some grilled chicken! A nice and heartwarming pun! The high-class atmosphere of this restaurant instantly made me feel relaxed (laughs). I enjoyed yakitori in a sophisticated atmosphere in Minami-Aoyama. The restaurant is located about 5 minutes from Omotesando Station B1 exit, on the antique street. It is a sister restaurant of "Toriya Sachi," which has been featured in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years. They prepare fresh local chicken every morning in the restaurant and are particular about changing the skewering method for each ingredient and part to provide the best quality. We only reserved seats and visited. There are two course options. You can choose on the day even if you haven't made a reservation, which is nice. There is an 8,000 yen course (excluding tax) that includes grilled chicken and side dishes, and a 4,800 yen course (excluding tax) that includes only grilled chicken. We decided to go with the 4,800 yen course and order some items a la carte that caught our eye. - Ebisu Meister: First, a toast. Even though it's getting cooler, the first beer is the best. A solid and flavorful drink. - Assorted Vegetables: Red Kuri squash, Suzu kabocha squash, Mizu nasu eggplant, Ice plant, Silk Sweet, Purple sweet potato. Fresh vegetables with olive oil and salt. They are very fresh and you can fully enjoy the deliciousness of the vegetables themselves. Before eating the meat, let's have some veggies first. It's great!! - Grated Daikon with Soy Sauce: A nice palate cleanser in between skewers. - Jacobs Creek: Wine made for Japanese cuisine. I tried both red and white. The white wine, designed to go well with sushi, had a sharp taste and was easy to drink, which also went well with grilled chicken! - Hichinai Jidori Grilled Chicken Skewers (6 pieces): Tsukune, Seseri, Chouchin, Negima, Sori, Tsukune. There are many rare parts. The outside is crispy and the inside is juicy and plump. When I bit into the Tsukune, the fat oozed out. The Chouchin, which bursts when you bite into it, has a rich and unforgettable taste. Each skewer has a unique taste and is enjoyable! - Assorted Vegetable Skewers (3 pieces): Ginnan is a delightful addition! The tomato covered with plenty of cheese is no longer a skewer (laughs). The performance of shaving cheese in front of you is wonderful. The thick and meaty Hirado Roman shiitake mushroom was incredibly flavorful!! We also ordered some items outside of the course. We ordered several dishes for the finish, dessert, and dishes that go well with alcohol. - Chicken Breast Caprese: A cute caprese. The cheese marinated in dashi soy sauce does a great job! The presentation is cute and it lifts the mood. - Foie Gras and White Liver Pate: A rich and creamy pate sandwiched between the bitter endive. You can enjoy an adult flavor. - Chicken Breast and Avocado Tartare: The chicken breast, cooked at a low temperature, was surprisingly tender and moist. I enjoyed the creaminess of the avocado and the texture of the 6 types of micro herbs. - Fluffy Egg Rice: Meringue-like egg whites and rich egg yolks are irresistible. A tempting finish even though we were full. The ultimate Tamago Kake Gohan! - Nagoya Cochin Egg Rich Pudding: It looked delicious and I couldn't resist ordering it. It didn't disappoint with its rich and creamy texture. We were guided to the counter seats, where we could enjoy our meal while watching the craftsmen carefully grilling each skewer. Despite grilling yakitori vigorously, the restaurant maintains a high-quality and sophisticated atmosphere without smoke or odor, which is truly commendable. The service was very polite and pleasant, making it a very elegant dinner. Truly, a restaurant with a sophisticated atmosphere. Perfect for a date!! Highly recommended.

Visited the restaurant alone at 6:30 pm on a regular day. The interior of the restaurant had a large counter and various types of private rooms, making it suitable for various occasions. There are two course options available: an 8000 yen full course and a 4800 yen skewer-only course. Since I was dining alone, I chose the 8000 yen course. The a la carte menu is also extensive, so adding a la carte dishes to the 4800 yen course when dining with multiple people is also a good option. Started with a champagne toast! The staff promptly refilled my drink whenever it was running low, which I appreciated. Dining alone can sometimes make it a bit daunting to speak up, so this attentiveness was a nice touch. The 8000 yen course included the following: - Chicken delicacies: 3 types including plum soft bone with smashed cucumber, black sesame heart, and fresh assorted pieces. - Hichin Chicken Tataki: 2 types, breast and thigh. - Selected vegetable assortment: 5 types including red radish, pumpkin, water eggplant, ice plant, and silk sweet potato. - Grated yam - Hichin Chicken Yakitori skewers: 6 pieces including breast meat, wasabi grilled chicken tenderloin, gizzard, tail, tsukune, and chicken wing. - Selected vegetable skewers: 3 pieces including fresh ginkgo nuts, shiitake mushrooms, and amela tomatoes. - Foie gras and white liver pate - Seasonal fruit and dried ham - Chicken broth chawanmushi Additionally, I ordered: - Chicken thigh meat - Scamorza cheese - Soboro rice - Nagoya Cochin rich pudding I also enjoyed white wine and red wine during the meal. The variety of wines available was a nice touch. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff provided just the right amount of attention, making the atmosphere very pleasant. I will definitely revisit soon!

"Toroya Sachi," which has won the Bib Gourmand award for two consecutive years, has opened a new location in Aoyama. It is conveniently located near Omotesando Station, in the basement of a building close to the antique street hamburger shop. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very pleasant, with both counter seats and private rooms available. The menu mainly features dishes made with Hichinai Jidori chicken, which are delicious and perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. The prices seem reasonable for everyday dining, so I look forward to visiting again."

I visited the Michelin Guide-listed "Toriya Sachi" in Minami Aoyama with a friend who loves yakitori during dinner time on a weekday. The restaurant is located in a cool underground space in a building off Omotesando, towards Aoyama Gakuin University. We sat at the stylish counter seats and enjoyed the calm atmosphere. We opted for the 8000 yen course menu and added some drinks and other items a la carte. The yakitori here is made with Hichinidori chicken and paired with sake and wine. The Hichinidori chicken, known for its rich flavor, was the highlight of the meal. The course included a comparison of breast meat and thigh meat, both of which were delicious. The chicken skewers were cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's skills. The Quail eggs with grated daikon radish were a delightful palate cleanser. The chicken tenderloin with wasabi had a gentle heat and a rare, moist texture. The leek and chicken meatball skewers were also a standout dish. The grilled vegetables, such as lotus root and cherry tomatoes, were juicy and flavorful. We couldn't resist ordering extra skewers of chicken liver, which were surprisingly delicious and had no unpleasant smell. The course also included seasonal figs, chicken ham, and a savory egg custard, adding to the overall satisfaction of the meal. We enjoyed a glass of champagne to start and later tried a special blend of Ichiro's Malt whisky, which had a rich malt flavor. The sake selection was also impressive, with a local sake called Shinsei standing out for its elegant taste and long-lasting umami. We ended the meal with a fluffy egg rice dish and a creamy Nagoya Cochin egg pudding for dessert. The attentive service and sophisticated atmosphere make this restaurant perfect for a date or a gourmet dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves yakitori!

A yakitori restaurant in Minami Aoyama. Each skewer of yakitori is so delicious that you can be impressed with each one. They offer unique items like pate and grilled tomatoes with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top, as well as a menu that pairs well with wine! They have a lineup of alcohol that you don't often see elsewhere, showing their dedication. In addition to the course menu, we also tried skewers of scamorza cheese and a rich pudding made with Nagoya Cochin eggs for dessert, which is sure to be popular with women. We felt the hospitality in the details, such as the timing of the dishes, the temperature, and the explanations provided when serving. The course included: - Three varieties of chicken specialties - Two varieties of Hichin Chicken Tataki - Assorted selection of five carefully selected vegetables - Grated daikon radish - Six skewers of Hichin Chicken Yakitori - Three skewers of selected vegetable skewers - Foie gras and white liver pate - Seasonal fruits and firm chicken prosciutto - Chicken broth chawanmushi It was so delicious! I want to go back to experience that excitement again!

I went to the Aoyama branch of the Michelin-starred restaurant "Toriya Sachi" to enjoy delicious yakitori. The location is in the middle of the Kotto-dori Nishi-Azabu and Aoyama area, which I love. The name, atmosphere, and concept are all about the highest level of everyday dining experience, and the grilling, seasoning, and timing were all top-notch. The course menu balanced the grilled dishes and yakitori perfectly, allowing me to thoroughly enjoy each dish. The 8000 yen course included: - 3 chicken delicacies - 2 types of Hichinai Jidori Tataki - Assorted 5 selected vegetables - Onioroshi (grated daikon radish with soy sauce) - 6 skewers of Hichinai Jidori yakitori - 3 skewers of selected vegetables - Foie gras and white liver pate - Seasonal fruits with Hakata chicken ham - Chicken broth steamed tea cup The chicken delicacies included mozzarella caprese with marinated chicken, chicken meat simmered in ice, and yakitori caprese. The Hichinai Jidori Tataki included two types: breast and thigh, both fresh and delicious. The assorted vegetables were refreshing and simple, best enjoyed with just a sprinkle of salt. The foie gras and white liver pate paired perfectly with dried grapes. The seasonal fruits with Hakata chicken ham were a delightful combination of figs and mascarpone. The chicken broth steamed tea cup was flavorful and delicious. The yakitori included Hichinai Jidori skewers such as thigh, wing, liver, neck, harami, and tsukune, as well as selected vegetable skewers with summer vegetables. The timing of each dish was perfect, especially the way the neck skewers were grilled. The tsukune was also amazing, fluffy and delicious. In addition to the course menu, I added negima and seseri. The negima, chicken wrapped in leeks, was a unique and tasty dish.

This time, I went to Toriya Sachi in Minami Aoyama, Omotesando. This restaurant is a high-level yakitori place that grills Hinai-jidori chicken on charcoal. They grill each skewer carefully and you can eat it right away, which is luxurious and amazing! The meat is fresh and has a perfect texture and chewiness. They also offer a course menu where you can enjoy various chicken dishes in addition to yakitori. I love that yakitori here doesn't cause heartburn even after eating, so I really enjoy it. The visit was on a weekday at 7:00 pm with a reservation for 2 people. The restaurant is located just a few minutes walk from Omotesando, and has a stylish and chic atmosphere typical of this area. The interior is elegant with a black theme, and it was very clean. The course we ordered was the "¥8,000 Full Course". We started with a champagne toast. The appetizers included three chicken dishes, a caprese salad made with mozzarella marinated in blood liver soy sauce, and chicken meat jelly. It was unusual to have caprese at a yakitori restaurant, but it was delicious with a Japanese twist. The chicken sashimi, made with chest and thigh meat, was fresh and had a delightful chewiness. The assorted vegetables were seasoned with salt and were surprisingly tasty, allowing the natural flavors of the vegetables to shine. The yakitori palate cleanser with grated daikon was refreshing. The yakitori skewers included 6 types such as thigh, wing, liver, neck, skirt, and tsukune. The thigh meat was so tender that it melted in the mouth instantly. The tsukune, with egg yolk, was a perfect match. The grilled summer vegetable skewers were fragrant and juicy. The foie gras and white liver pate was a sophisticated dish with the sweetness of raisins and the crunchiness of vegetables. The seasonal fruit and dried duck prosciutto were a refreshing dish. The chicken broth chawanmushi had a rich chicken flavor and was delicious. We also ended up ordering sake and dessert, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This restaurant not only serves yakitori but also offers a course menu with high-quality dishes. I recommend ordering the full course to enjoy the high level of each dish. It's worth visiting for a date or special occasion.

I visited Toriya Sachi in Minami Aoyama because I wanted to eat delicious yakitori. This restaurant is a sister store of the Michelin Bib Gourmand-selected Toriya Sachi, where they grill Akita Hinai-Jidori chicken over binchotan charcoal. Located in a building facing the Aoyama Kottodo Street, just a few minutes from Omotesando Station, the entrance to this restaurant feels like a hidden oasis for adults. The chic and stylish interior, with a white wood counter surrounding the grilling area, creates a perfect atmosphere for a date. Despite the presence of a grill in front of you, the smoke does not spread throughout the restaurant, so your clothes and hair won't smell. The restaurant is smoke-free, which is a relief compared to typical yakitori places where the smell of yakitori and cigarettes can be overwhelming. The spacing between tables was well-maintained, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling crowded. We started with a toast of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut. The Anemone-decorated glass added a touch of elegance to the occasion. The champagne served in a wine glass was a nice touch, and many people at the restaurant started with a glass of champagne. My husband, feeling thirsty after work, started with a highball. I tried a new brand for the first time, a commemorative blended whiskey honoring Kiichiro Iwai, a pioneer in Japan's whiskey boom. It had a gentle mouthfeel, a rich flavor, and an elegant taste. The yakitori menu offered two options: a 4800 yen course with skewers only, and an 8000 yen course with a combination of skewers and dishes. We opted for the 4800 yen course and added some a la carte items. The course included a selection of 5 types of vegetables, grated daikon, 6 skewers of Akita Hinai-Jidori chicken, 3 skewers of selected vegetables, and a selection of 5 types of vegetables. The colorful vegetables were fresh, juicy, and had a great texture. The simple seasoning of rock salt and olive oil enhanced the natural deliciousness of the vegetables. We also ordered the foie gras and white liver pate from the a la carte menu. The pate served on chicory was a delightful combination of the bitter chicory and the sweet flavors of the foie gras and white liver. It made me want to pair it with a dessert wine (unfortunately, they only had dessert wine by the bottle). The restaurant offered a wide selection of wines, including Japanese wines. I ordered a bottle of Komazono Blanc from the Komazono Vineyard. It was a blend of Koshu and Chardonnay, with a subtle vanilla aroma from barrel aging, a refreshing lightness, and a gentle taste that complemented any dish. We also tried the fresh liver and chicken skin, chicken breast, chicken tenderloin with wasabi, fresh liver, chicken neck, chicken gizzard, fresh tomato with cheese, zucchini, and skewered vegetables. Each dish was expertly grilled, with perfect seasoning and textures. The presentation of grilling the tomato and adding cheese tableside was a fun experience. The peeled tomato was sweet and tangy, almost like a fruit. It was so delicious that I wished I could eat a whole bowl of it. The yakitori was bite-sized and easy to eat, making the dining experience enjoyable.
