I visited "Niku no Suzuki" in Asakusa, Tokyo (^O^)‼︎ This restaurant is a yakiniku place run by a meat wholesaler that has been selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 (^ ^)♪♪ I made a reservation on Tabelog about 3 weeks ago and visited right at the opening time of 6 pm on Wednesday. The nearest station is Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, located in the deeper part of Asakusa, so it's about a 10-minute walk from the station. First, I started with a Super Dry beer in a small bottle to cleanse my palate (^O^)♪♪ Originally, you could enjoy the highest quality wagyu beef called Tamura beef at this restaurant, but it seems they haven't been buying it in whole lately, so they are using excellent Matsusaka beef instead. So... I started with some Korean seaweed and wagyu beef tartare-style appetizers. For the main meat dishes, I ordered the Premium Wagyu Tongue, Premium Wagyu Harami, and a meat course B that includes 4 rare cuts of Matsusaka beef. The staff was concerned if I could finish it all, so they made the Tongue and Harami half-sized for me (^ ^)‼︎ Well, it turned out I didn't need to worry about finishing it all (laughs). First, the appetizers arrived (^ ^)‼︎ The Korean seaweed was neither good nor bad (laughs) and the wagyu beef tartare-style was like a cross between roast beef and tartare, which went well with the beer (^O^)♪♪ Now onto grilling, starting with the Premium Wagyu Tongue and Premium Wagyu Harami! It's been a while since I've had such thick-cut tongue (^ ^)ノ It's a bit difficult to grill when it's this thick ( ゚д゚) but I grilled both sides until crispy, then cut it vertically with scissors and finished grilling it (^ ^)‼︎ It was delicious, perfectly tender and crispy. Next was the 4 rare cuts of Matsusaka beef, which today included Sirloin, Ichibo, Uchihira, and Hiuchi (^ ^)‼︎ They were all thick cuts, and I enjoyed cutting them with scissors while eating (^O^)ノ Now, more meat (laughs)! I ordered a thin-cut rib and a small rice to finish off (^ ^)‼︎ The thin-cut rib was extremely high-quality fillet (^O^)‼︎ The rice went down so easily (^O^)♪♪ I then enjoyed the remaining Sirloin and Ichibo to savor the richness of the fat and finished (^ ^)‼︎ Well, it was disappointing that they didn't have Tamura beef, but I truly enjoyed the superb meat (^ ^)♪♪ The staff mentioned that they still have Tamura beef in stock, so I'll make it a regular thing to come here and get my hands on some Tamura beef (^ ^)‼︎ Thank you for the meal (^O^)ノ
