A yakiniku restaurant in Asakusa, managed directly by a butcher shop. The entrance with a refrigerator-like door is quite interesting. This restaurant lives up to its own appeal point - you can enjoy good quality meat at a reasonable price, so it's definitely worth knowing about. The thick-cut tongue and marbled loin were delicious, with a good amount of fat. Although slightly salty and fatty, they paired really well with hot steamed rice. The assorted horumon (offal) had about 5 different types, including liver, but there was no unpleasant odor. And for this amount, the price of 1100 yen was a great deal. The raw liver sashimi was refreshing and served as a nice break between bites. The kimchi seemed homemade and had a nice flavor. The kalbi soup had plenty of meat and a good balance of flavors. Although my low battle power got knocked down by the first few high-quality pieces of meat, my friend took over and finished everything, leaving feeling satisfied. With a variety of meat options, it's fun to come with a group to try different things. It seems to be a popular spot, so reservations are a must. I'd love to come back once my stomach recovers. I made a reservation in advance and visited the restaurant at 7 pm on a weekday. I checked the menu and saw that they had a very expensive Chateaubriand steak for 20,000 yen, but I decided to try the cheaper cuts like tongue, hormone, and kalbi instead. The taste was just average, probably because I didn't order the high-end meat. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the kimchi assortment I ordered, especially the tomato kimchi which had a delicious flavor. Thank you for the meal.

It's a bit far from Asakusa Station. I went by car and there is a coin parking nearby. The door of the shop is made of iron like a butcher's door. The meat is good quality, but even the cheaper options are delicious. While other famous shops may cost double, this shop is very reasonable and truly delicious. I couldn't drink alcohol since I came by car, but I wanted to have some drinks and eat grilled meat at this shop.

This famous restaurant in Ura Asakusa was hard to get a reservation at, but I managed to get lucky with the timing! In recent years, there have been many trendy and unique yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurants popping up, but this place is a traditional, classic yakiniku restaurant. It feels like the top-tier place where you would occasionally be taken to enjoy good meat when you were young. They offer a variety of high-quality meats, with sirloin, fillet, and Chateaubriand leading the way. And when it comes to Matsusaka beef, it's the king of meats. The meat here is absolutely top-notch. It's been a while since I've had such a great selection of meat. From sashimi to grilled dishes and side dishes, the quality is quite high. They also have horumon (offal), but I highly recommend sticking with the premium cuts. I think this place reigns supreme as a traditional yakiniku restaurant.

I ordered the assorted platter. The amount was amazing and everything was really, really delicious, I was impressed. Not only the meat, but also the kimchi and white rice were incredibly tasty!! I was surprised by the amount and how delicious it was for this price. I will definitely go back again!!! Especially the rare cuts were delicious. Thank you very much, it was a feast.

The restaurant is registered in the Top 100 on Tabelog, and all the meat dishes were delicious. I also ordered kimchi, which was not too spicy and tasted great with rice. The restaurant had about three female staff members and a male staff member with a half-Japanese appearance, who provided excellent service. However, another male staff member was not very friendly when I tried to order something that was not available, and he seemed to rush us when our meat dish ran out. Overall, the experience was slightly negative due to the attitude of that particular staff member.

I was taken out for a celebration. It was delicious. The rice was particularly tasty. Maybe it's because of my age, but I can't eat as much as before, so I plan to be more selective about what I order in the future. I should have just ordered the regular Harami. The What's Harami was a bit different from the regular Harami, leaning more towards Kalbi. Overall, it was delicious.

I visited for the second time already! This time, I used this place to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Of course, I made a reservation before coming. It was Friday night, so the restaurant was full. I ordered the premium Matsusaka beef platter that I couldn't try last time. It was a revenge from last time! As expected, being a premium selection, there were many rare cuts! And, all of them were delicious and melted in the mouth. My mother-in-law was also pleased! ✨

First visit and honestly exceeded expectations!! We went as a family to celebrate my wife's birthday. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and the space is well maintained, making it very comfortable. The meat was beautiful, delicious, and reasonably priced! Personally, I can confidently say that this will be my go-to place for yakiniku from now on. In addition to the meat, the homemade kimchi had a nice balance of spiciness and sweetness (I'm not a fan of sourness, so it was perfect), and the white intestine was also amazing. The cost per dish is really good value for money, and we truly had a great time.

I made a phone reservation for two on a regular night and visited the restaurant for the first time. Not knowing what to order, I decided on the Matsusaka beef platter (750g) with a large bowl of white rice, and some long yam kimchi as a side dish. The long yam kimchi was simple and went well with the white rice, making a great snack. The Matsusaka beef platter was served in different cuts with a time lag between each one. We started with the tongue, followed by ribeye, sirloin, hormone, loin, and finally short rib. All of them were delicious! The ribeye was particularly tender with just the right amount of fat, it was amazing. There was a wide variety of hormone cuts as well. We struggled to finish the fatty short rib at the end, as we were already so full from the generous portions. The amount of food was incredible! We had originally planned to order the premium platter as well, but the portions were much larger than we had imagined, so we had to give up... We were surprised at how cheap it was to eat so much, spending only about 5000 yen for the two of us. The cost performance is amazing!!! I want to go back again~ Next time, I want to try the premium platter for sure!

A yakiniku restaurant in Asakusa. I visited this restaurant after making a reservation over the phone about a week ago. The popular time slots around 6 pm were already booked, so we made a reservation for 5 pm. We ordered the yakiniku platter set and wagyu harami. We were considering ordering more meat, but the portions were quite generous for two people. We started with tongue, assorted hormones, kalbi, lean meat... and a lot of meat kept coming out. There was a lot of food, but the quality of the meat was really good. It was very delicious. It's no wonder it's a restaurant directly managed by a butcher. I definitely want to try other cuts next time.

One of my favorite yakiniku restaurants in Asakusa, where popular shops are crowded, is this place! ('Meat no Suzuki') The quality of the meat, the variety of drinks, the salads, kimchi, cold noodles, and rice - everything is satisfying here. I also order bento boxes for takeout, which are also great! I always make sure to order the tomato kimchi or nagaimo (Chinese yam) kimchi, which are both delicious. The restaurant is clean, and the staff are always friendly and provide excellent service.

Visited on a Thursday night with a reservation. Ordered the 14000 yen course which included Kalbi, Tan, and Hira. Also ordered pork belly, prime kalbi, and spiral sausages a la carte. Served with bean sprout namul and kimchi. Even though the course was supposed to be one serving per person, they gave us two pieces of each meat. The thickness of the Kalbi and Tan was unlike anything I've seen before. The Hira was like a high-quality steak that we got to cut with scissors. It was a luxurious experience trying out these premium meats, completely changing my perception of yakiniku. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

From Asakusa Station, head north on Umamichi Street, then turn west onto Goto Street at the Umamichi intersection. About 200 meters north of the corner of the Ray 5656 building is a yakiniku restaurant. This restaurant has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants for four consecutive years since 2018. Although it's usually difficult to get a reservation on the same day, a friend who owns a restaurant in Asakusa managed to secure a reservation on their day off and invited me to join. When I heard it was "Niku no Suzuki," I knew I had to go. I was able to finish my work quickly in anticipation of our 8 o'clock reservation. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was fully booked. Three of us, all meat lovers, gathered and placed our orders. The "Special Wagyu Tongue" for 3,450 yen is a bit pricey, but it's a must-try. It's a miracle to be able to enjoy it at this price from their own store. Grilling the large piece of tongue can be tricky, but we cooked it until both sides were crispy, cutting it with scissors as we went along. It was juicy, tender, with a crispy exterior, truly delicious. The harami and sirloin were also outstanding in flavor. I definitely want to be invited back to this restaurant.

Eating out every day to conquer the top 100 restaurants. Today, I visited a yakiniku restaurant in Asakusa called Niku no Suzuki. This restaurant was selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in 2021. I arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 PM on a weekday. The entrance to the restaurant looks like a refrigerator door, which is quirky and interesting. Since I had made a reservation over the phone, I was able to enter without waiting in line. A friend who lives in Asakusa mentioned that they were impressed that I was able to make a same-day reservation at this restaurant, as it is usually fully booked. Today was my lucky day. I was seated in a tatami room and ordered the following dishes: premium wagyu tongue for 3,450 yen, premium wagyu harami for 2,800 yen, premium kalbi for 2,200 yen, cholegi salad for 600 yen, cold noodles for 850 yen, and hormone for 1,200 yen. Recently, there has been an increase in yakiniku restaurants offering course menus, but I prefer ordering a la carte. Yakiniku is best enjoyed with drinks. Everything was delicious. The premium wagyu tongue, in particular, was thickly sliced and had a unique texture. The variety of hormone dishes was also impressive, and the hormone assortment allowed me to try different types at once. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the hormone assortment is a must-try as it offers a variety of high-quality hormone cuts. I highly recommend trying it.

I received a recommendation for this place after trying yakiniku in Asakusa. I couldn't get a reservation at another place, so I thought it would be the same here. However, when I called, they said it was okay! I was so happy. The meat was delicious, starting with the upper tongue salt, upper loin, upper skirt, kimchi assortment - make sure to order these. They are incredibly delicious. And the stone bibimbap is the best. This place is definitely delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Niku no Suzuki" in Asakusa, Tokyo (^O^)‼︎ This restaurant is a yakiniku place run by a meat wholesaler that has been selected as one of the top 100 yakiniku restaurants in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 (^ ^)♪♪ I made a reservation on Tabelog about 3 weeks ago and visited right at the opening time of 6 pm on Wednesday. The nearest station is Asakusa Station on the Tsukuba Express, located in the deeper part of Asakusa, so it's about a 10-minute walk from the station. First, I started with a Super Dry beer in a small bottle to cleanse my palate (^O^)♪♪ Originally, you could enjoy the highest quality wagyu beef called Tamura beef at this restaurant, but it seems they haven't been buying it in whole lately, so they are using excellent Matsusaka beef instead. So... I started with some Korean seaweed and wagyu beef tartare-style appetizers. For the main meat dishes, I ordered the Premium Wagyu Tongue, Premium Wagyu Harami, and a meat course B that includes 4 rare cuts of Matsusaka beef. The staff was concerned if I could finish it all, so they made the Tongue and Harami half-sized for me (^ ^)‼︎ Well, it turned out I didn't need to worry about finishing it all (laughs). First, the appetizers arrived (^ ^)‼︎ The Korean seaweed was neither good nor bad (laughs) and the wagyu beef tartare-style was like a cross between roast beef and tartare, which went well with the beer (^O^)♪♪ Now onto grilling, starting with the Premium Wagyu Tongue and Premium Wagyu Harami! It's been a while since I've had such thick-cut tongue (^ ^)ノ It's a bit difficult to grill when it's this thick ( ゚д゚) but I grilled both sides until crispy, then cut it vertically with scissors and finished grilling it (^ ^)‼︎ It was delicious, perfectly tender and crispy.
