The restaurant is located a little off the main street of Denenchofu shopping street. It has been in business for 50 years and is run by an elderly couple. The entrance has counter seats, and there is a raised tatami area in the back. It seems to be supported by regular customers. I hesitated to enter without my grandmother, but the owner and his wife were very kind. I ordered the silver cod miso grilled lunch set for 1000 yen. It took a little time, but the grilled silver cod was exquisite. The rich sauce brought out the flavor of the fish perfectly. The side dishes of thick fried tofu and bamboo shoot stew were elegant, and the pickles were just right. After the meal, a dessert of fruits was served, and I was very satisfied.

Today's job site was in Denenchofu, and for lunch, I went to a Japanese restaurant called Kadomoto. The restaurant has a counter and tables, and it seems to be run by a married couple. I ordered the Grilled Mackerel Set Meal (800 yen), and the mackerel was a bit small but the miso soup was really delicious. It's a rare find in this location. Thank you for the meal. I also tried the Tempura Set Meal (1000 yen) on another occasion.

Memories log. When we were wandering around the Denenchofu area with family. We visited this restaurant with traditional Japanese tatami seating. The atmosphere inside the old-fashioned restaurant gave a sense of calm and stability. We had eel with scrambled eggs, tempura, and more. The eel with scrambled eggs had a deliciously sweet and salty flavor that went well with the rice. My son couldn't stop eating. The tempura had a light and crispy batter, providing a delightful texture. As a bonus, my son was given a banana after the meal, making it a heartwarming weekend lunch.

Not just eel, but all dishes are excellent at this restaurant! A place you'll want to visit again and again!

I have been visiting a friend's favorite restaurant for a few years now. The eel dish on the signboard was delicious, and I was also impressed by the grilled eel. The freshly grated wasabi served with it was a nice touch. The skewers finished with eel sauce and the grilled pheasant were also outstanding. The drinks go down so easily that I always end up drinking too much. For the finishing touch, I have miso soup and either a half eel bowl or onigiri (the landlady makes them on the spot, and they are big and delicious!). Thank you for the delicious meal.

Inside, there was a counter on the left and tatami seating in the back. I sat at the counter, looked at the lunch menu hanging behind the owner, and placed my order. I ordered the eel and egg rice bowl. It was topped with eel, burdock, onions, green onions, and egg, and it was very delicious. When I was about a third of the way through, they transferred the remaining portion, including the broth, onto my rice. In addition to pickles, the set meal also came with finely chopped simmered kelp. For dessert, they served watermelon. The hostess asked if I wanted to eat it, and I felt relaxed, as if I had come to a countryside grandma's house.
