It is a great place for dining with private rooms available. We ordered the Miyabi course and drinks separately. The meat dishes are all delicious, but the mille-feuille roast is outstanding. In the end, we felt a bit unsatisfied and ended up ordering more, which made the total cost quite high. However, as a traditional adult barbecue restaurant, it has a sense of stability and reliability.

On Sunday, I visited the restaurant 5 minutes after it opened without a reservation. About 60% of the seats were taken, with the window seats being popular. Even though I was alone, I was seated at a table for 4. I ordered the Milfeuille lunch set (2,200 yen) that I had already researched. First, seaweed soup, salad, and rice were served. The salad came with onion dressing. The soup was a bit small in portion. It used to come with kimchi before, so that was a bit disappointing, but it's nice that you can have seconds. After that, the meat and dipping broth arrived in about 5 minutes. There were 6 pieces of meat in the bundle. The meat is said to cook quickly, so they adjusted the heat to low. I started grilling the meat, and soon the fat started to come out. I flipped it when it was slightly red, then dipped it in the broth. The broth had a slight acidity, but it was incredibly delicious with just the right amount of fat. The Milfeuille pork was made up of very thin layers of meat, creating a nice air layer that allowed you to taste the meat's umami. It was a masterpiece. Lastly, they offered a drink as a service, and I chose coffee. It was a child-sized portion, which was a bit surprising, but it might be due to cost-cutting efforts or to increase turnover. If you sit by the window, you can enjoy a nice view, and lunch is cheaper than dinner, so indulging in additional meat can be a good idea. The service was also great, with attention given to each table (like offering seconds), which was very nice.

I used it for lunch. The mille-feuille roast was too delicious! I've never had such a melting meat before!! Compared to dinner, lunch is reasonable, but the quality is incredibly high and impressive. There are large windows in the restaurant, and it was great to have yakiniku while looking at the blue sky!

"Ten-dan," a prestigious yakiniku restaurant born in Kyoto in 1965 ❤️ I found out that this famous Kyoto restaurant also has a branch in Higashi Ginza, so I made a same-day reservation! Even though it was a holiday, I was able to book the desired time slot. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, with the counter seats offering a panoramic view of the Ginza streets through glass windows. This would definitely delight any girl on a date! 😊 - Assorted kimchi - Mille-feuille roast - Thinly sliced tongue - Cold noodles (half portion) When it comes to Ten-dan, their signature mille-feuille roast, eaten with a dipping sauce made from simmering beef for a long time, is a must-try and well-known dish. The yakiniku eaten with a refreshing broth-like dipping sauce is a new sensation. Personally, I found the broth slightly sour, but it pairs exceptionally well with the meat! My favorite dish was the thinly sliced negi-tan (beef tongue with green onions)!! The seasoning was top-notch. It was as delicious as the negi-tan from my favorite place in Tokyo, "Manpuku"! Visited before 1:00 PM on a regular day. I've always been curious about Kyoto-style yakiniku. I wanted to try a few different things, so I ordered a course menu. MARI Course First, a pre-meal soup (?). It's supposed to aid digestion. It was called drinking kimchi, but I might have misheard. It was a cold, clear soup with non-spicy kimchi. Six types of namul, kimchi, and salad arrived. It was quite a lot of food! The salad had plenty of leafy greens and a refreshing dressing. The first meat was tongue, thinly sliced. It was to be eaten with lemon juice. The chopped green onions were a nice touch! Then came the long-awaited meat to be eaten with broth! The broth had a slightly sour taste, which was unexpected. Would it go well with the meat...?? After finishing the tongue, it was time for the Tendan loin. The meat was closer to kalbi, with a fatty richness that went well with rice. The sauce was delicious, sweet with a bit of spicy kick. It was so delicious that it could even be eaten without the broth. However, I was looking forward to trying it with the broth. Surprisingly, it went well...! The sauce's rich flavor became milder with the broth, making it refreshing. It was surprisingly good...!! Lastly, there was the special selection cut kalbi. A large cube of meat! It had two types: lean and marbled. Unfortunately, the lean meat was quite tough and hard to chew. The marbled meat, on the other hand, melted in the mouth and was delicious. The sauce on top was also delicious. I also ordered cold noodles as the meal. They were thin noodles with a slight acidity. I also ordered stone pot bibimbap. It was a bit bland, so I added gochujang and broth. It was delicious. For dessert, I had financiers and coffee. In conclusion, my first experience with broth yakiniku was a success! While each piece of meat wasn't necessarily mind-blowing, the overall course was satisfying. The restaurant was spacious, clean, with a nice view, and the staff's service was high-class. The overall dining experience was great, and I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

At first, I was like, "Huh?" about having yakiniku with dashi broth, but it's seriously delicious. I recommend it. They also offer a 12,000 yen all-you-can-drink course at night. Definitely worth adding to your repertoire. The top sirloin and individual pieces of chuck flap tail are great, but it would be even better with some kimchi. However, the individual kimchi is a bit expensive in terms of cost performance...

It had been years since I last had yakiniku. We had a course meal which included pickles, salad, and cold noodles, all of which were delicious. Of course, the meat was also tasty. They grilled thinly sliced tongue and loin, layered three times and rolled before grilling. It was a new way of grilling for me, but the staff grilled it for us and we enjoyed it with Kyoto's light soy sauce. There was a semi-private room which was perfect for us as we had a small child with us.

If you're going with a group of about four people, I recommend reserving the tables in the back with partitions. The meat served for lunch already comes with sauce, suitable for a wide range of age groups from middle-aged to elderly, giving off an elegant impression. The fact that this restaurant has been in business for a long time in front of the Kabuki-za theater speaks for its quality. I tried mille-feuille roast and yakiniku with broth for the first time. The price was a bit high, but it was very delicious. The appetizers, salad, and cold soup were all elegantly flavored and I was impressed. The meat was all very tender and had good marbling. I could really feel why this place is so popular!

This year's 38th wedding anniversary... Unfortunately, "Don Bravo" had a long weekend once a month (tears)... So, we decided to visit the Kyoto main store. We considered the "Miyako" course for 8,250 yen, but since there was no "Tendan Roast" in the grilled menu and we, elderly couple, couldn't eat too much if we added it separately, we opted for the "Kanade" course for 7,150 yen (tax included) as we did last year. We made a web reservation for 1:00 PM and arrived on time. Surprisingly, even on a weekday, the restaurant was almost full at this time. It would have been nice if we could choose a table seat even with a web reservation, not just a window counter seat. The course included various appetizers, two special dishes, grilled dishes, palate cleanser, and dessert. The meal was delicious, especially the grilled meats like the thick-cut tongue and premium ribs. We enjoyed the experience and the food, making it a perfect anniversary celebration.

I hadn't been to Ten-dan in Ginza since the pandemic, so I came back for the first time in about 3 years. I had the top loin lunch set with half portion of premium short rib. The amount of meat was disappointingly small. Before the pandemic, there used to be a buffet with the same lunch set, so even with a small amount of meat, there was a sense of satisfaction. I thought there would be less meat this time, so I ordered additional servings from the start, but it was still not enough. It's really, really disappointing that there is no buffet. I probably won't come back until the buffet is back. But the food at Ten-dan was really delicious after a long time. I also bought a bento box on the way home. The meat eaten with dashi at Tendan in Ginza is delicious. I've been to the one in Akasaka before, so this time I went to the one in Ginza. It's refreshing and tasty~♡ I don't like greasy food, so I'm happy that I can enjoy it until the end~♡ Of course, not just the meat in dashi, everything else is delicious too. I had it at the counter during the day, but I'm sure it's beautiful to overlook Ginza at night as well.

Eating yakiniku with dashi broth was a first for me, and it was delicious. The mille-feuille yakiniku had three thin slices of meat stacked together, quickly grilled, and then dipped in the broth - it melted in my mouth! It was amazing! The curry udon as a finishing touch was also delicious with its spicy flavor.

We were full after the course. Actually, it was too much... I like the loin at Tentan the best. We made a reservation on Saturday night and it was fully booked. My family who tried yakiniku with broth for the first time really liked it! We thought about ordering more if we were still hungry, but it was impossible... It was around 12,000 yen per person for four people.

Today, unexpectedly, I had plans to visit a high-end yakiniku restaurant called Tendon in Ginza. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor of a building near the Higashi-Ginza intersection, close to the Kabuki-za theater. The atmosphere at Tendon is relatively casual compared to other high-end yakiniku restaurants, making it a good choice for a last-minute gathering with male friends. I ordered the following items individually: Chorogi salad, three types of kimchi, premium tongue, misuji (top blade), ribeye, kalbi, cold noodles, and bibimbap. The salad and kimchi were of high quality and delicious. The meat, especially the ribeye, was excellent. The standout dish at Tendon is the Mille-Feuille Ribeye, which is thinly sliced and cooked with a flavorful broth. It is a must-try at this restaurant. The cold noodles and bibimbap served as a satisfying end to the meal, with each portion being enough to share between two people. The balance of dishes at Tendon was well thought out. The Ginza location mainly offers table seating, with a few window-side counter seats available. If you prefer private dining, I recommend visiting the Akasaka location. I visited the restaurant without a reservation at 2:00 PM. I found out that the last order is at 2:30 PM and they close at 3:00 PM for lunch. I chose a lunch set that costs around 7000 yen, and the meat was really delicious. I like to adjust the broth and sauce (you can choose between sweet and spicy) to my liking. If you're not a fan of offal, I recommend getting the lunch set for around 3000 yen and adding extra meat. The salad dressing is also delicious, and the kimchi and pickled vegetables are tasty too. I will definitely visit again.

The meat at Tiantan Ginza is tender and delicious! It's always tasty whenever I come here. It's a bit disappointing that desserts and kimchi are no longer available, maybe due to rising prices, but you can get seconds for rice, salad, and soup, so I'm satisfied with the price.
