I stayed at Tomamu and had a buffet at night. Everything was delicious, but the crab dishes left a lasting impression. I ended up eating too much. I had four hand-rolled sushi with salmon and ikura. I wanted to eat more crab, but I couldn't fit it in my stomach anymore...笑

I was more excited than any buffet I've been to in the past. I only had 1.5 hours due to time constraints, but I was able to eat a lot, which was great. The only downside was that it was about a 10-minute walk from the Tomamu The Tower accommodation building. They were very hospitable, even letting us know about the fireworks and allowing us to go see them. The food was delicious, with crab dishes being the highlight. In particular, the crab shell grill, crab gratin, and boiled crab were outstanding.

On the second night of my summer vacation trip to Hokkaido, I returned to Tomamu and visited this restaurant. It was my first visit in a year. This restaurant is all about crab! They offer all-you-can-eat crab dishes such as crab sashimi (in large size!), crab gratin, and crab risotto. All of them are delicious with plenty of crab meat. The crab miso soup is surprisingly delicious as well. In addition, other dishes like salmon hand rolls are also of high quality. I ate too much again this day. It was incredibly delicious.

The restaurant within Hoshino Resort was on a different level compared to other buffet restaurants. Their specialties are crab and salmon, but all the other dishes were also delicious. The most delicious dishes were the crab gratin and crab soup. They even provided baby food and baby barley tea for our baby, it was truly exceptional service. However, making a reservation was very difficult, I had to wait and access the website right when reservations opened one month in advance to finally secure a spot. Good luck with making a reservation!

There are three breakfast spots within Hoshino Resort Tomamu, and one of them is here. Although the menu is different, it operates as a buffet dining for both breakfast and dinner. You can enjoy a wide variety of dishes in the morning and leave feeling satisfied. The breakfast buffet costs 2,600 yen including tax. Some popular items include "Salmon and Salmon Roe Donburi" marinated in sweet sauce, freshly baked "French Toast" from the live kitchen, and a wide selection of bread. Everything was delicious! The high ceilings and spacious atmosphere give a nice feeling as if dining in the middle of the forest. Please note that while breakfast is included for adults when booking a hotel, there is an additional charge of 1,400 yen for children aged 4 and above.

I stayed at Hoshino Resort Tomamu's Risonare and forgot to make a reservation for the Otsettomamu restaurant that I wanted to visit that night. Since I was craving crab, I decided to go to this restaurant instead. You can take a shuttle bus from Risonare to get there, but I heard that you can bring your own wine from the wine house within the same facility, so I walked through a tunnel-like corridor to get some wine before heading there. First, I got a draft beer from the self-service drink counter. For dinner, I tried their recommended dishes. The crab miso soup was more like a soup than a hot pot, with a subtle crab flavor. The grilled crab shell had a lot of meat, but the crab flavor was not very strong, and there was rice underneath to bulk it up. The teppanyaki beef was cooked in front of me, and it was like a regular sirloin without much marbling. The salmon and ikura hand roll sushi was made in front of me when I requested it. It had plenty of marinated salmon and salmon roe, and I enjoyed it so much that I had another one. Well, I was quite full after that. I feel like I didn't eat enough to justify the 5,500 yen price... I guess that's how buffets are. I felt a bit unsettled and couldn't relax properly. Conclusion: crab is better enjoyed at a more delicious place.

I used it at the morning buffet. The price was 2,600 yen, and overall I thought everything was delicious. The specialties are wasabi roast beef bowl, fluffy pancakes, and mini bread. The roast beef was a bit bland, so I asked for salt and pepper separately. I haven't tried all the bread varieties, but the croissant was delicious.

Breakfast at this restaurant was amazing, especially the roasted beef bowl with mountain wasabi. My boyfriend had three helpings of it. The fluffy French toast was also delicious, almost like a drink. The pickled vegetables and salted fish roe were also tasty. I regret being a light eater in the morning because everything was so delicious.

Finally, the last dinner of this trip was at a popular buffet restaurant called "Buffet Dining Hal", which we managed to make a reservation for by calling the front desk the night before. It is slightly more expensive than the buffet we went to on the first night, but for this price range, there are not many dinner buffets in places like Tokyo. Since it was still early in the evening, the restaurant was not crowded. We couldn't reserve seats online, so the seats we were given were in a separate room on the first floor near the staircase, which was a bit inconvenient as it was dimly lit and far from the buffet area. The buffet area itself was clean and bright, not crowded, allowing us to comfortably choose our dishes. The staff constantly checked on the food levels and there was no shortage of dishes. We started with the main attractions - a delicious crab shell baked with plenty of crab meat and a creamy sauce, a gratin packed with mushrooms and crab, and bite-sized steak served fresh. The hand-rolled sushi with crispy seaweed, salmon, and salmon roe was delightful. The sashimi platter with squid and sweet shrimp was also delicious. Despite feeling full, we couldn't resist trying the "Cloud Sea Parfait", a cute dessert with ice cream, cornflakes, and strawberry sauce. It was a satisfying end to our last dinner of the trip at Buffet Dining Hal.

I visited the breakfast at Tomamu Resort. Despite distributing tickets, they were calling numbers inconsistently, so it was quite crowded. I recommend checking for yourself after receiving a ticket. Once inside, the view outside the window was breathtaking. The movie-like world of white snow is incredibly beautiful. The food was generally delicious. The wasabi rice bowl was refreshing with a nice wasabi flavor. It was quite noisy inside due to the crowds, but the view surpassed that and was absolutely lovely. Having breakfast in such a stunning setting was amazing.

The experience at Hoshino Resort Tower started at the reception, which was poorly organized and confusing, causing delays and a mixed-up order of service. The food was quite delicious, but the portions were too big for me. I think they should make them smaller and cheaper. The milk, French toast, corn soup were all very tasty, but I couldn't eat everything, so I just took a bite of each.

I stayed at Tomamu The Tower in Hokkaido and visited the buffet restaurant Hal. Reservations are available from 30 days in advance and fill up quickly, so be careful. Around 28 days before, I could only make a reservation for 5:30 pm. It's within walking distance from Tomamu The Tower and it was amazing because everything was all-you-can-eat. The seafood was delicious, and the crab shell grill, crab gratin, and sea of clouds parfait were all excellent. I ate too much and felt uncomfortable. I want to come back to eat again.

I visited for both dinner and breakfast, both buffet style. The dinner had a crab fair going on, which was incredibly delicious. They used plenty of luxurious crab. I ended up eating 6 bowls of it. Other menu items were also really tasty. For breakfast, the highlight was definitely the French toast! It might have been the best French toast I've ever had in my life. The other menu items were also great, especially the Wasabi Beef Bowl. Also, the melon was all-you-can-eat! It was really delicious.

During my stay, I enjoyed the hospitality on the second night and third morning. I tried the famous mountain wasabi rice, French toast, and crab. I also had steak and sashimi, of course. I received a large amount of melon as well. The Sapporo Classic beer was excellent, and I ended up having two glasses. Thank you for the delicious meal.

For breakfast, I went to a different buffet venue. I had my eye on the French toast and the wasabi roast beef bowl. A luxurious breakfast is the best. After that, I took a gondola to the Cloud Terrace and relaxed. Spending time like this gives me a sense of happiness and it's really great.

Thanks to a cancellation the day before, I was able to eat at this restaurant. When I was seated, I was informed that the highlights were steak, crab dishes, and salmon and ikura hand-rolled sushi. I tried the highlights and found the steak to be tender, the crab gratin and crab ankake to be enjoyable, and the salmon and ikura hand-rolled sushi to be small but delicious. There were many other menu options that were also tasty. I finished off with a cloud parfait and left the dinner feeling very satisfied. The only downside was that although it's a fun place and I understand the excitement, it's not okay for children to run around the restaurant. It's mostly the fault of the parents, but since they don't seem to care, the staff should step in and address the issue.

In July, my family went on a trip to Hokkaido and visited Furano. Following that, my husband and I went on a second trip to Hokkaido in September, this time to Tomamu Hoshino Resort. We made a reservation and entered the restaurant. It was almost the same as Nininupuri, but personally, I prefer Nininupuri. There was no all-you-can-drink beer option (at an additional cost), and the seaweed for hand-rolling sushi was too tough to chew. Disappointing.

I was able to make a reservation at Hoshino Resort and stayed there. The buffet cost 5,500 yen, which is quite expensive, but I decided to go. The interior of the restaurant is like an American food market with high ceilings that create a sense of openness. The seating was separated between families with children and other guests, which allowed for a relaxing atmosphere. I was advised to start with the warm dishes, and the steak was delicious, but the crab was amazing! Especially the gratin, I had seconds of it. They also make hand-rolled sushi right in front of you, and the scallops were delicious! A unique item on the menu was the sea of clouds parfait, and they even made cotton candy in front of us. I also enjoyed the classic dishes that were a bit crowded, and I tried the Tomamu beer (extra charge)! When asked about the occasion for this trip, I mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary, and we received a plate service as a gift! The couple next to us also received one for their birthday, and these little gestures made us happy! It was a delightful time, thank you for the meal!

Because it was the Bon Festival, the place was packed with people. We arrived early to see the sea of clouds and managed to get seats quickly. I had a roast beef bowl with plenty of mountain wasabi, which was delicious, so I had seconds. I also had a lot of melon. My husband and child kept getting seconds of the delicious French toast.
