I went to "Akasaka Genki (temporary)" at Akasaka Station (Akasaka Mitsuke) on a regular night. It's an oyster restaurant. The restaurant is located in the basement of a multi-tenant building, so it feels a bit shady, but it's a decent place. They offer both all-you-can-eat and a la carte menus. The all-you-can-eat menu has various combinations to choose from, so it can be a bit overwhelming. We chose the "All-you-can-eat raw oysters, steamed oysters, and fried oysters with 60 types of sake all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes" course for 6,000 yen (discounted from 7,000 yen with online reservation). Initially, raw oysters, steamed oysters, and fried oysters were served, and you can get refills for each item once you finish. The types of oysters may vary depending on the day, but today they were oysters from Murotsu, Hyogo Prefecture. The oysters were fresh, creamy, and very delicious. If you want additional items like ponzu sauce or grated daikon, they are available for an extra 200 yen. They have a wide selection of sake, including top-quality sake like Dassai 45%, as well as brands like Suigei, Yamamoto, and Kubota, ranging from famous to more obscure ones. The oysters were delicious, but you may get a bit tired of eating them continuously, so the 90-minute time limit was just right. The staff were attentive and the service was good, so I think it's a nice place. If you use the course discount, payment is cash only. Thank you for the meal! #Akasaka #AkasakaMitsuke #oysters #rawoysters #steamedoysters #friedoysters #sake #AkasakaGenkiTemporary #Murotsu #creamy #oysterbuffet #sakebuffet #Tabelog #ron2941 #foodlover #sakelover #foodie
