Originally, we were planning to meet in Ueno/Okachimachi and have a drink in Ameyoko, but my friend was running late and suggested meeting in Kuramae instead, as it would be quicker for them to get there. I searched on Tabelog and found this nearby izakaya. Just take a look at the menu. It's so cheap haha, I started to worry about the quality of the ingredients with these prices haha. A sashimi platter for only 820 yen! The pricing of other dishes was also surprisingly low, not what you would expect in Tokyo. The seating was spacious too, so it seems like a good spot for a casual drink haha. I don't often come to Kuramae, but if I happen to pass by, I'll definitely come back haha. The total cost for the investigation was 7,300 yen for two people.

Great cost performance. This is my second time here since I first came last month. The sashimi platter was tastier last time, but it was still delicious this time. Personally, I love the sake-steamed clams. They may not be completely sand-free, and sometimes a bit salty, but clams are always tasty, right? Dinner in Kuramae! I arrived around 5 pm on Friday. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was not exactly calm, but rather lively. It wasn't a chaotic atmosphere unique to Kuramae, but more like the high-pitched laughter of young people. The restaurant was playing popular songs from the early Heisei era, which made me feel comfortable as a person born in the Heisei era. I sat at the counter, and the wall in front of the counter was very high, so I could enjoy my meal without feeling like I had to make eye contact with the staff. The food was of course good. The drinks were also very cheap, and they had a solid taste (not too weak or too strong), so I enjoyed everything! I was very satisfied!

It was my first visit after leaving a live house. I thought it would be a typical seafood place since it was advertised as such, but it turned out to be unexpectedly unique, in a good way. We couldn't resist ordering the "Tekka Maki" sushi roll, which was impressive in size and taste. For drinks, we had the strong lemon sour, which we ended up ordering more of. The tempura squid was a standout dish that we couldn't stop eating. The food was paired well with the hearty and flavorful drinks. Despite our initial plans to try more dishes, we ended up slowing down due to the satisfying meal. There are still many appetizers we want to try, so we have decided to revisit this restaurant.

After working in Asakusa until after 9 PM, I decided to have a quick drink in a 30-minute showdown. I ordered the famous #Okuman sashimi platter and a #draftbeer. The beer looked smart with its logo visible when held sideways. Cheers! I arrived at 9:30 PM, and the place was packed, showing its popularity. Since the food took a while to arrive, I ended up ordering a second beer. I had to ask if my order was being processed. Finally, after a 20-minute wait, the fresh sashimi arrived. The tuna was incredibly fresh and delicious. The salmon had a great flavor too. The yellowtail and white fish were also fantastic. The scallops were rich and flavorful. My colleague and I decided to leave quickly as his wife and kids were waiting. We left in 30 minutes. The bill was less than 2,000 yen, and I couldn't help but think how cheap it was. As I paid, I realized that the game of being a salaryman continues.

There are several locations in Tokyo, and here you can enjoy incredibly delicious food at a very reasonable price. The food is delicious and the prices are unbelievably cheap! I had visited the Kanda store before and my companion became a fan from there. It was past 9 pm. When we entered, the restaurant was full. The staff said they would open up a table within 30 minutes. So, we took a walk around the area. We entered the restaurant and started with the strongest lemon sour. The strongest lemon sour costs 399 yen, and refills are 199 yen. It's the best! The seafood chige hot pot costs 999 yen. It's the best value for money. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

The restaurant is non-smoking, but smokers were seen smoking outside near the entrance. However, sitting near the entrance may expose you to cigarette smoke every time the door opens. For those who dislike smoke, aiming for a table further inside might be a better choice. I used a popular izakaya in Kuramae. It's great that even though it's a casual izakaya, it's non-smoking because it's in Tokyo. The management seems to be from Kansai, as they had items like pickled ginger tempura on the menu. The sake available was Daiginjo in a pack. It would be nice if they had a slightly better selection of sake since they have delicious fish. One disappointment was that it was labeled as "nama-zake" but turned out to be "nama-choshu-zake" when I ordered. I think they may not have much knowledge about sake. Another feature is that it seems to be child-friendly, as families with children were coming in one after another. With many izakayas banning children these days, I think it's good to have places like this where families can go. If you're going to an izakaya with kids, this place definitely has value.

In conclusion, the restaurant seemed overwhelmed, possibly due to a lack of staff to meet the demand of the location. It appeared that there was a need for late-night drinking options in the area, and the staff may have been overworked. It left a lasting impression of being made to wait. I believe adjusting the number of seats based on the staff's shifts might be a good idea, considering the night-time drinking population in Kuramae and the number of restaurants catering to them.

I visited the restaurant around 10:30 pm on Sunday. I was feeling a bit hungry and looking for a place to have a late-night meal. The nearby Hidakaya was already closed, so I was drawn to this place. I found out that they are open until 3 am, which is great for night owls like me! I ordered a highball, chicken karaage (4 pieces), and a seafood donburi, which cost around 550 yen. I shared them with a friend. The karaage was delicious, and I think their fried dishes, in general, are tasty. I was happy to see that they have my favorite dish, takoyaki, on the menu. The staff were polite, but maybe due to the layout of the restaurant, they seemed a bit rough. As the name suggests, it's a seafood stall, so it's not flashy or pretentious at all. But it doesn't give off a bad vibe either... The cost performance is very good, so it's great when your wallet is feeling empty! It's close to home, so I'll come back again. When there are two of us, they always divide the skewers in half for us, which is nice. The batter is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and they prepare grated radish and dipping sauce for us. All you need to do is add some shichimi spice, and the lemon sour tastes amazing.

It's just right for going alone. I had yellowtail sashimi, which was delicious with its fatty texture. The beef tendon stew was tasty with a strong pepper flavor. Two drinks, two snacks, and two palate cleansers cost around 2000 yen. The sashimi platter and palate cleansers are a must.
