QRAUD, which operates various food and beverage brands in Osaka and Tokyo, opened a meat restaurant in Azabu-Juban in September 2018. Originally based in Osaka, the group had two stores in Osaka, with kumasan's predecessor, salon du kuma3, and this Tokyo store is positioned as the Tokyo branch of that Osaka store. The group operates various types of restaurants, including a tempura restaurant, a crab specialty restaurant, and a sushi restaurant in Tokyo, showing its strong presence. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Azabu-Juban. It is located on the basement floor. The black-themed interior is very stylish, with one private room for 6 people and a counter seat for 7 people. If you are going with a small group, the counter seat is recommended. During my visit for lunch, the menu was presented in a unique quiz format, adding an element of fun to the ordering process. The hospitality of the staff is excellent. The place is also Instagram-worthy. And surprisingly, the food is delicious too. It's rare to find a place that excels in all three aspects, but Kumasan manages to do just that. Some places focus on creativity but lack in taste, but that was not the case here. Starting from the appetizers to the meat dishes, everything was top-notch. They provide a syringe with seasonings for you to adjust the flavor according to your preference. I went with just my male friends this time, but it would be perfect for a date with a woman as well! The only downside I can point out is that the staff at the entrance, who were waiting for reservation holders, seemed a bit unfriendly and didn't smile, which made me feel a little uneasy. If they are going to make customers stand and wait, a welcoming smile would make them feel more at ease and excited to enter the restaurant. Apart from that, it's an amazing place!

I went to the Kumasan restaurant in Azabu for a beef course. I was invited by Mizuho, thank you for the invitation! I've been wanting to visit since the days when it was called Salon du Kuma3, so I was really happy to finally go. The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a counter where you can see the chefs cooking right in front of you, giving it a live feel. The course for the day included: - Wagyu tartare - Thick-cut sirloin - Shabu-shabu roast beef - Wagyu tail and shark fin sauce - Zero guilt cocktail - Rice - Kumasan sandwich - Charcoal-grilled steak - Cold noodles with tail sorbet - Stove rice with eel and harami - Dessert All the dishes were of high quality, but my favorites were the Kumasan sandwich, Wagyu tail and shark fin sauce, and the stove rice. The Bearnaise sauce used in the Kumasan sandwich was especially delicious. The taste and atmosphere were both satisfying, and the staff's service was excellent.

The meal at Kumasan in Azabu-Juban was delicious! I especially enjoyed the fukahire sauce, which I had only previously tried at a family gathering. 48th Meat Meeting! I finally made it to the meat meeting... I've always wanted to try the cute bear-shaped pork cutlet sandwich. This restaurant is known for its meat dishes, but surprisingly they also offer pasta and paella, and the atmosphere is nice, making it seem like a good spot for a date. Also, I can't get over how handsome the chef was. I visited with a friend for lunch! Compared to the dinner course, the lunch was incredibly cost-effective and satisfying. The menu was a bit mysterious, so my friend and I had fun guessing what each dish was. Each dish had its own unique touch, showcasing the goodness of the beef. We tried yukke-style beef, roast beef, chawanmushi, and steak, and all of them had a melt-in-your-mouth quality without being greasy. It was a fun and satisfying experience with a great sense of fullness! The only downside was that the alcohol was a bit pricey, so it's probably best to be careful not to drink too much (lol).

This is my second visit! I used it for a meeting with work colleagues. The private rooms are spacious with high ceilings, making them the best for private dining. The menu is entertaining and the meat is delicious. Each dish is quite tasty! Be aware that you need to choose your meat after arriving (prices vary by cut). I don't like the slightly awkward atmosphere that can arise, even if you are treating someone or splitting the bill. The restaurant is located on the basement floor of GRAND LOUVRE Azabu-Juban. The main store is in Kitashinchi, Osaka, and this is the first store in Tokyo. Head chef is Takuto Kitajima. Opened in October 2018. Changed its name from Salon du kuma3 to Azabu kumasan in September 2021. Also, a sister store called Ushi Tomimi opened in Shin-Tomicho on June 14, 2022. A private room was used for a meal with 4 people, starting with meat and greetings. We had Ichibo, sirloin, and filet. The Ichibo sashimi was amazing. I won't reveal the menu as it would spoil the surprise. The starter tartare was also delicious. The highlight was probably the katsu sandwich with truffle topping. We were quite full by the end. Thank you for the meal!

We mainly offer dishes made with very high-quality meat, focusing on fillet, sirloin, and ribeye. This time, we enjoyed various ways of eating fillet, ichibo, and sirloin. Each menu was delicious, with not only the meat but also other ingredients being well utilized. However, the "Kuma-san's Experiment Lab - Tartar Laboratory" that I had been curious about from the photos was especially charming. The appearance was incredibly cute, and being able to mix your favorite ingredients and seasonings with meat and caviar to create your own original tartar was my favorite part! (It goes well with champagne and my favorite Rococo beer too!) This time, we were led to a private room, so we could spend a leisurely time. The portion size of each dish was appropriate, and there was a variety of dishes, so I was completely satisfied both physically and mentally. I recommend it to those who love meat and those who like to try a variety of dishes little by little.

All the dishes were delicious. It was an 8800 yen course, but I think women might feel quite satisfied. The second dish, chawanmushi, was especially good. It was warm and the demiglace sauce on top was really tasty. Also, the pickled burdock with miso served with rice at the end was incredibly delicious. I went alone and sat at the counter, where the chef was very friendly and wonderful. He mentioned that "people who have money eventually start pursuing food, but even that will eventually run out, and the excitement will diminish over time," which left an impression on me. I would like to visit again with friends.

I had a fun time at kumasan in Azabu / Azabu-Juban, it felt like solving a mystery with their menu! This cute and enjoyable meat cuisine restaurant in Azabu is currently offering a special autumn course using high-quality black wagyu beef and matsutake mushrooms until November 7th. Every dish was cooked with great care and was delicious, but the highlight was the last dish - a clay pot rice with a strong aroma of matsutake mushrooms and tender meat. I easily went for seconds! The dishes, which incorporate elements of French cuisine, can be enjoyed with all five senses, with the most important factor being the incredibly delicious taste. Lunch course for 8800 yen plus grape juice for 900 yen x 5, the long-awaited Kuma-san. With sirloin and ichibo as the main focus, they offer various enjoyable twists. The menu is in quiz format, which is fun like Labonvance-san or Sudachi-san. Lunch takes over 2 hours, so it's for people with time to spare, but it allows you to leisurely enjoy an elegant time. This time we had a private room, but I think these kinds of restaurants are better with a counter.

The place is like a hidden gem in a back alley in Azabu-Juban. When you descend the hard-to-find staircase, you'll find a beautiful entrance. Inside, there is a counter in front of an open kitchen where you can order from a quiz-style menu and later check your answers with the chef while laughing. The chefs are friendly and easy to talk to, creating a great atmosphere. The Yamagata beef used is of high quality with a nice balance of fat, although towards the end of the course, it felt a bit heavy for me as I have been eating only lean meat recently. The caviar, truffles, matsutake mushrooms, and shark fin were also fantastic. The matsutake mushrooms may have been a bit early, but they had a delightful aroma. The variety of wines is extensive, and it's great to be able to decide while consulting with the staff. Having Kenzo available was also a nice touch. By the time the final clay pot rice dish arrived, I was already quite full and ended up taking most of it home to enjoy as onigiri. Overall, it's a fun and enjoyable restaurant, perfect for a date night. ^ ^

Kumasan@Azabu Jūban It was raining, so the entrance was a bit hard to find. There is a coin parking right in front. The shop has a Kumasan concept, but the interior is calm and stylish. The menu is interesting with a mysterious approach. The staff were very friendly and nice. As for the food, it exceeded expectations. Everything was really delicious!!! Especially the sirloin shabu-shabu and Kumasan dori were amazing!!! I forgot to take a picture of the menu, which is a shame. The plates were very stylish, showing attention to detail and good taste. The order and balance of the dishes were to my liking. I would love to come back when the seasons change. Thank you, Kumasan♪
