This Italian bistro, which is often seen on Instagram, was surprisingly affordable when I saw the bill. The carafes (500ml) of Chardonnay and Cabernet were only 2,420 yen each, which was a great deal. The bottle wines started at 5,500 yen, but the carafes were enough for us. The service was a bit slow due to being short-staffed, and the seating was a bit tight, with the possibility of being close to other customers. I made a reservation 2-3 weeks in advance, but only a terrace seat was available, showing how popular the place is. The terrace tables were a bit small, but we managed fine. The staff used a bell system to call for service. The appetizer platter was a good mix of cold dishes, with the Porchetta and Ninejo Negi being highlights. The Lebermousse Cannolo dessert was a unique twist on the classic Italian dessert. The Broccoli and Sunny-side-up Egg with Anchovy Sautee was flavorful and went well with drinks. The Pasta with Dried Sardine Butter Soy was a standout dish, and the Tiramisu was a perfect size for sharing, with a strong espresso flavor.

The restaurant is run by one person, and the tables are quite close together. The standing counter had the owner chatting with what seemed like regular customers. The menu had many delicious-looking options, making it hard to choose. I also tried the fried gnocchi, which was tasty. Since it's a one-person operation, the menu wasn't explained in detail, but the food was delicious! The meat was particularly tender and cooked perfectly. However, it was summer and the door was left open, so it was very hot inside.

There are many one-person operation Italian bistros, but this one was quite good. Especially the pasta, we ordered so much but everything was delicious. The wine was natural and all of them paired well with the dishes, making us happy. If there was a place like this nearby, it would be amazing. I envy the people in Omotesando.

The season for the gnudi terrace has arrived at Sotobori-mae. The breeze feels refreshing, making it the perfect setting to spend a weekday evening. Sitting at a table facing the street, it reminds me of Europe and fills my heart with excitement. The food and wine were exceptional. The appetizer platter included a variety of dishes like zepolle, carpaccio, caponata, and porchetta, all delicious. The fried gnocchi was a delightful surprise, and the steak was incredibly tender with a perfect balance of flavors. The pasta dish, made with scallions instead of fava beans, was a lovely touch. The staff was accommodating and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I would love to repeat.

Gnudi in Gaienmae has a great location, is affordable, and delicious. They offer a chef's choice appetizer platter, oil pasta with firefly squid and fresh tomatoes, and roasted wagyu sirloin. The dessert platter is also recommended. It's a great wine bistro-style restaurant with tasty food and good value. It's close to Aoyama, so when it gets warmer, it would be nice to have dinner here and then head to Aoyama's rooftop for drinks. The restaurant is compact, so reservations are a must. The food was really delicious overall. The gnocchi fritti was amazing. The Genovese was divine even though the service was slow due to being short-staffed. I didn't mind the wait because the food was so good. I want to dine in next time. It's a must to wear a jacket outside during this season.

This is the second restaurant I visited after being full at the first place, so I didn't order much food. However, all the dishes looked delicious, and it was clear that this is a popular spot. I wanted to take a look at the menu, and I was impressed by the wine knowledge of the one-man staff. The wine selection was spot on, and even though I only ordered two dishes, they were so delicious that I regretted coming here as the second stop. The person sitting next to me kept saying how delicious everything was. The wine cooler was filled with a variety of wines, making me excited. I will definitely come back here. If you like natural wines, this place is a must-visit.

The wine and food are delicious, and the atmosphere is so cozy that you don't want to tell anyone about this place. The fact that the owner is running the place alone is surprising. Assorted appetizers for two for ¥1,800, large mussels steamed in white wine for ¥1,200, Cacio e Pepe for ¥1,200, and Tiramisu for ¥500.

A cozy, hidden gem on Killer Street Located just off Omotesando West Street, right after the signal at Jingumae 3-chome towards Gaienmae Station, this charming restaurant on Killer Street has a unique story behind it. The owner bought out a previous establishment at the same location, maintaining the same style but with a fresh twist. Operating solo, the owner manages everything from wine selection to customer service and cooking, creating a laid-back atmosphere where time seems to slow down. The menu features several vegetable-based appetizers that pair perfectly with natural wines handpicked by the owner. The wines are characterized by a gentle mouthfeel and a clean finish, offering a unique and enjoyable experience. During my visit, I tried the assorted appetizers (five pieces) for the first time, which was a delightful and cost-effective choice. The Italian char siu and other dishes with easy-to-understand names cater to the unpretentious, mature clientele that frequents this establishment. With a selection of favorite dishes, I may skip the assorted platter next time, but for first-timers, starting with the fermented butter and bread, followed by the platter, is a safe bet. I enjoyed a leisurely three-hour meal on the terrace facing Killer Street on a pleasant day. The ruli-ro in Ikejiri Ohashi, the kogane in Gaienmae, and the ebi-ro, all part of the same group, closed in May. However, the same manager has reopened a new restaurant in the same location since last month. The interior remains almost the same as before, a small cozy place with a convenient layout. I had plans afterwards, so I just enjoyed a selection of appetizers and a glass of wine. The restaurant is run by the manager alone, but the menu is extensive and everything looks tempting. They still offer natural wines like before, and if you share your preferences, the manager will select and serve you a glass. I am glad to have a casual place to visit more often in Gaienmae. The dishes have a French bistro or Italian trattoria style, easy to enjoy, but all of them are of high quality and delicious. Next time, I want to try various dishes, not just appetizers.

This shop, which took over from +ebi-ro (Ebiro) that had been operating a bistro in the same store, reopened with a new look on July 9, 2022! To celebrate, four drinking ladies visited for the first time. We enjoyed familiar menu items as well as new dishes created by the young owner chef, and had a great time eating and drinking just like before. Since it's summer, we started with The Premium Malt's <Fragrant> Ale. Friday night was quite crowded and we were able to get in close to 9 o'clock. The assorted appetizers included zepolle, which was very happy! The fried chicken had a fish and chips-style coating. Delicious.
