Located a 6-minute walk from Shibuya Station, this restaurant is famous for having the mama wrap the meat in lettuce for you to eat. It is a long-standing yakiniku restaurant frequented by loyal regulars and celebrities. As soon as you sit down, the mama will put an apron on you. The omakase course includes yukhoe, various appetizers, namul, white kimchi, kakuteki, lettuce wraps, perilla leaf pickles, green chili peppers, Korean seaweed, rock seaweed salad, tongue, zabuton, fillet, harami, fruits, and polycorn. The meat is served omakase style with a stop system. The next meat will not be served until you indicate that you are ready. The meat is served in large chunks and cut after grilling, following the Korean style. Appetizers and lettuce wraps are already prepared on the table when you sit down. The yukhoe is a must-try, with a sweet sauce and egg mixed in. The mama will grill the meat and wrap it in lettuce for you to eat, along with kimchi, perilla leaf pickles, and Korean seaweed. The lettuce wraps are delicious, especially with the spicy perilla leaf pickles. The staff besides the mama will also grill the meat for you. They are attentive, refilling your iced tea and automatically serving more tea. Dessert includes a fruit platter and plenty of polycorn, with automatic refills. The billing system is a bit mysterious, but a full meal did not exceed 10,000 yen. Perhaps ordering additional items like hormones or a meal to finish the meal would increase the cost. Next time, I would like to try ordering something to finish the meal.
