I wanted to eat something other than meat, so I went to the same restaurant. I was tempted by the premium option, but I wasn't that hungry, so I chose the regular ten-don (tempura rice bowl). When the bowl arrived, it was impressive with a large amount of tempura. It felt like I was eating rice with tempura rather than the other way around. It also came with chawanmushi (savory egg custard), and for this price, it's definitely a great deal. Next time, I'll come hungry and try the premium option.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Half of the customers were foreigners, and there was quite a line, but I managed to wait. Finally got in around 13:40. For 1,200 yen, the variety of ingredients was worth it! The eggplant tempura was piping hot and I burned my mouth. It's a place where you eat and leave immediately, but the sauce wasn't too strong and the rice portion was just right. The ingredients were neatly arranged. Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 7:00 pm on a regular night. The restaurant had a long counter with a few empty seats available for immediate seating. I ordered the Anago (conger eel) and mixed tempura rice bowl for 1600 yen. It came with a warm chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and pickles on the side. The tempura included anago, shrimp, shiitake mushroom, green beans, eggplant, pumpkin, chicken, and a soft-boiled egg, all piled on top. However, the tempura was not Edo-style and lacked the sesame flavor. It was a light tempura with sweet sauce. Most of the customers were inbound tourists.

I ordered the "Joten-don" at a restaurant with only counter seats. I was expecting the aroma of sesame oil in the traditional Edo-style tempura bowl, but it was slightly disappointing for a tempura specialty shop. The atmosphere seemed to cater to inbound tourists, and the location was on the outskirts of Ginza, so it may appeal to them due to its affordability.

While looking for a lunch spot in Ginza during work, I happened to stumble upon this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the regular size tempura rice bowl, which was around 1000 yen and came with 2 shrimp tempura along with other tempura items. It was quite filling and delicious. The portion size and price were great value for money. I would definitely like to visit this place again.

"I was drawn in by the offer of 1600 yen to 1300 yen on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of every month, so I decided to give it a try. At 11:40, I thought I might have to wait, but I was seated right away. The restaurant had only counter seating, which was unusual for a fast-food style place inside Ginza Six. I ordered the 'Joten Donburi' for 1300 yen as planned. The dish had long pieces of conger eel, one shrimp, and various fish and vegetables in a lively tempura style, fitting for the 'Joten' name. As soon as the dish arrived, I noticed (smelled) that the sauce was thick and sweet, with a strong viscosity. I started with the conger eel, which had a crispy and firm batter with a sweet and salty (intense soy sauce) flavor - a slightly unusual taste. The other tempura items were freshly fried, which was appreciated, but I felt they were 'sweet... intense soy sauce' flavored. The rice also had a strong sauce flavor. I added a lot of table-ground sansho pepper, but the mild sansho aroma was overshadowed by the strong sauce flavor. The dish also came with chawanmushi and a variety of ingredients. For 1300 yen, it's not bad, but the surprisingly sweet and intense sauce might be a hit or miss for some. Thank you for the meal!"

I went for lunch before 12 o'clock on a weekday. The restaurant was already full, so I waited for about 5 minutes before getting a table. I decided to treat myself and ordered the luxurious "Joten-don" for 1600 yen. The chawanmushi that came out first was smooth and delicious. The tempura was crispy and the sweet sauce was tasty, making it easy to eat. The Joten-don had a whole eel in it, so I was very satisfied. I was quite full by the end of the meal. Since it's a counter-style restaurant, there's no need to linger. When I finished eating and left around 12:30, there were about 6 groups waiting outside. I understand why people would line up for this delicious food! It's located inside Inz Mall, so waiting in line is not a problem during this season when it's not too hot.

This is a counter-only shop on the second floor of a building near Yurakucho Station. The amount you get for this price is amazing, and the cost performance is great. Many foreign customers were there. I was able to get in without waiting too long. The shrimp was smaller than I imagined, but the portion size was satisfying.

I visited around 6 pm on Friday. There was no line, and I was seated right after another customer left. The restaurant only had counter seats, and about half of the customers were foreign tourists. There was one person in charge of frying, one in charge of plating, and maybe one in the dining area. I ordered the "Joten Don" (heavenly tempura bowl). The price was 300 yen higher than what was mentioned on Tabelog. While waiting, I was served pickles, followed by chawanmushi, soup, and finally the tempura bowl. The tempura included conger eel, shrimp, shiitake mushroom, eggplant, pumpkin, and green beans, and the presentation was quite luxurious. However, personally, I found the oil to be too heavy, and the sauce was too sweet. The chawanmushi with shiitake mushrooms, ginkgo nuts, and chicken was just okay. I finished off the leftover rice with the sweet sauce with pickles to refresh my palate. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited after a long time, I felt that the tempura rice bowl had changed from before. About a third to half of the customers were foreigners. It had a fast-food style and was different from the traditional Japanese tempura rice bowl. However, I think it's good for foreign tourists. Personally, I don't think I will go there again.

I arrived for lunch around 1 pm on a weekday. I was able to enter without waiting. The counter seemed to have many foreign customers. I ordered a tempura bowl for 1,250 yen and was served pickles and chawanmushi right away. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the tempura bowl arrived! The taste was okay. There wasn't anything particularly outstanding about the ingredients, but it was delicious overall.

This restaurant is what made me fall in love with tempura bowls, even though I wasn't a big fan before. Located in Ginza, the fact that you can enjoy such a generous portion of tempura bowl at this price is truly impressive! In addition to the tempura bowl, you also get miso soup, pickles, and chawanmushi. The amount of sauce on the tempura varies each day, so sometimes the tempura and rice can be a bit soggy, but it adds to the charm. I like to separate the tempura onto a small plate and sprinkle some sansho pepper on top while enjoying it.

"Deluxe tendon for 1900 yen. I go to eat tendon for the anago and shrimp, so the other tempura is just an appetizer. I was disappointed when it first arrived because the anago I love was small. As usual, I saved the best for last and started with the appetizer. However, it was incredibly delicious! Especially the eggplant, hotaru, and squid, ingredients that I usually don't pay attention to, were at a main dish level of deliciousness. If the anago and shrimp were better, I would have given it a 5. I never usually order vegetable tendon, but I would like to try the vegetable tendon at this restaurant. I have confidence that you won't be disappointed if you love tendon."

Visited around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. There was a bit of confusion with the inbound queue as it was hard to see the end, but I was able to enter in about 15 minutes due to the good turnover. I chose the "Joten-don" with the intention of having an anago tempura. The texture of the soft-boiled egg tempura and the crispy anago tempura were both satisfying. The chawanmushi had plenty of ingredients like ginkgo nuts, and the miso soup and pickles were included as well, making it a great value overall (although there were many inbound customers, so timing may be important for those who are particular).

I visited because I wanted to eat tempura. The restaurant had a row of counter seats. I arrived a little after 12 p.m. on Sunday and had to wait a bit before being seated. I ordered a vegetable tempura rice bowl. It had eggplant, pumpkin, bell pepper, shiitake mushrooms, shiso leaves, lotus root, and baby corn. The tempura was crispy and delicious. The set also came with a tasty chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and pickles.

More than half of the customers were foreigners. I was impressed by how well the staff handled this. I arrived around 6:00 PM on a Friday and there was already a line. I waited for about 30-40 minutes before being seated. I ordered the tempura bowl. There were a variety of tempura options, so you won't get tired of eating them. The chicken tempura was a flat type. There were condiments like sansho pepper, shichimi, and sauce on the table. The rice was not drenched in sauce, so you could add more as needed, which was nice. With chawanmushi included and considering the location in Ginza, I think it offers good value for money. However, I felt that the ratings on Tabelog were a bit high.

I enjoyed the Tendon (tempura rice bowl) with extra-large serving (¥1,250+¥150). The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but overall, it was satisfying. The set meal included chawanmushi (savory egg custard), miso soup, and pickles, making it a good value for money. I felt quite satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Ginza Itsuki, a tempura rice bowl specialty restaurant in Ginza Inz 2 today. It was around 12:30, but I was seated immediately without having to wait. The restaurant only has a counter, and there were four groups of customers, most of whom were foreigners. I ordered the tempura rice bowl for ¥1,250, which came with pickles, steamed egg custard, and miso soup. I asked for less rice this time. The tempura, which included two shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, green beans, eggplant, two pieces of chicken, was fried perfectly crispy without being too greasy. The tempura sauce was just right, and there was extra sauce on the table in case you needed more. The warm steamed egg custard with dashi sauce was also delicious.

I visited on a Saturday afternoon once and there was a long line, so I decided to come back on a weekday evening. I was able to enter without waiting, but the restaurant quickly became full. I ordered the "Joten Don" for 1600 yen. It came with one piece of conger eel, shrimp, meat tempura, egg, green beans, eggplant, and pumpkin, with a generous portion of rice. The sauce for the bowl was sweet and flavorful. The balance between the tempura and rice was excellent. The tempura was crispy on the outside and cooked just right on the inside. The meat tempura could have been a bit more rare, but that's to be expected with pork. For 1600 yen, it also came with miso soup and chawanmushi, which I found to be very reasonable. The taste was delicious and the price was fair. Overall, I found it to be smoother in flavor compared to Kanesan Honnosuke. Thank you for the meal.

The ingredients, frying method, rice, and miso soup are not bad individually, but overall there is a lack of unity. The flavor of the donburi sauce is weak, and it lacks the unique aroma of oil that is typical of tempura dishes. Since the majority of customers are inbound tourists, it's possible that the dish has been adjusted to suit foreign tastes.
