I came to this restaurant without much prior information, just choosing it on a whim and managed to get a reservation at the last minute, but I was able to enjoy incredibly delicious yakiniku. I mean, to end 2022 with such a great restaurant? We ordered a la carte, but even so, the staff accompanied us and grilled the meat for us, and the grilling was excellent. I mean, I'm no expert, but I've grilled meat at yakiniku restaurants before, and the way the staff handled it and the quality of the meat left me speechless. Of course, you can enjoy this kind of service at full-service yakiniku restaurants or meat diners, but in a restaurant surrounded by love hotels in the bustling Ikebukuro district, with prices that are a bit upscale for a yakiniku place, I was completely surprised by the level of service provided. The most amazing part was the hormone dishes. Grilling hormone meat is still something I struggle with, but the skill of the chef was evident in the perfect finish of each dish. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, and everything was so delicious that I recommend it to anyone who loves hormone dishes or is curious to try them. They also have a special dish called "Kuro 5 Meshi," which is a garlic rice cooked in a clay pot with a secret broth. The combination of meat, garlic, shiso leaves, and nori in the freshly cooked rice is pure bliss. It's both a satisfying end to the meal and a great snack, as they explained. Despite feeling quite full, I couldn't resist trying the spicy "Akamaru Tantanmen" noodles. The creamy sesame broth mixed with spicy flavors was also incredibly delicious. I didn't go into detail, but the yukhoe, namul, kimchi (6 kinds!), and simmered dishes were all delicious, so it's unfair how everything was so delicious here. We had a 2-hour feast, ate until we couldn't move, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and left fully satisfied at this year-end meat party. The lantern outside that said "We will never make our customers regret" was no lie. This is why food adventures are fun, finding unexpected great restaurants like this. Fully satisfied and full to the brim.
