★I had plans to have lunch at a yakiniku restaurant in Shimo-Kitazawa, but suddenly couldn't make it, so I decided to go for dinner instead! I had been checking out this place for a while. It's not too far from Shibuya on the highway, and it's only about 30-40 minutes by train, so it's worth the trip for delicious yakiniku. The restaurant has a nostalgic atmosphere, but the meat is authentic. Since there aren't many seats, it's best to make a reservation in advance! I arrived around 8 pm, and some menu items were already sold out, but I was able to enjoy thick-cut tongue and tomahawk steak. The meat was seasoned on the sweeter side, and the rice was fluffy and soft. It had been a while since I had delicious yakiniku in Tokyo. The grill is on the smaller side, so the amount we ordered for two was just right, and we left feeling satisfied. They cut the meat after you order, so it's best to take your time and enjoy the experience! I would love to try different cuts of meat and offal next time. The owner, who is very kind, the delicious meat, and the nice atmosphere of the restaurant all made for a great experience! Thank you for the meal ☺︎

The tongue is very delicious at this yakiniku restaurant. It has a strong and refreshing flavor, and you can eat as many pieces as you want. It might be the most delicious tongue I've ever had! It's a very delicious and wonderful restaurant that makes me want to go back again!

"Shimura Tokujuen" menu order photos in order from the top: 4 servings of tongue salt, 1 assorted kimchi, 1 top harami, 1 top kalbi, 1 top loin, 1 special top mino, 1 heart, 1 iron pot bibimbap. No photo: Chorogi salad, egg soup, cold noodles. Anyway, the tongue is delicious, we finished 4 servings with 3 people. The marinated harami, kalbi, and loin are also very delicious!

Last night, I came here in search of wagyu black tongue. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice, reminiscent of a good old-fashioned yakiniku place. I started with a kimchi platter and namul, accompanied by a cold beer while waiting for the meat. I ordered thick-cut premium tongue, top harami, top tomahawk steak, and assorted hormones. I also had Aomori-grown garlic butter foil-cooked. I switched from beer to the ultimate lemon sour. The ultimate black tongue was incredibly tender and delicious. My companion was very satisfied with the tegutangukupa as a finale.

I went to Shimumu Tokusuen with my friends to enjoy a lively yakiniku meal. The atmosphere here is very cozy and the meat is incredibly delicious! We enjoyed Black Tan, Lamb Goso, Hatsu, Rib, Shin, Harami, and Hormone. We had a great time eating yakiniku together. Thank you as always, we will definitely come back. The restaurant is excellent, and I would love to revisit if given the chance. The garlic-flavored sauce is delicious, and the tongue is crispy with a gentle cut, making it easy to eat. Considering the content, it is very reasonable. The thick-cut tongue with cabbage, cherry tomatoes, and yam kimchi is juicy. The hormone harami stone-grilled bibimbap with white rice x2, sake, draft beer x3, ultimate lemon sour, and highball.

Yakiniku is best enjoyed with a group of 4 people, trying out various types of meat in small portions. We visited a renowned restaurant in Shimura Sakagami, which we don't usually go to. The sauce was so delicious that we couldn't stop eating rice. The meat is incredibly delicious. I have been to various yakiniku restaurants in Tokyo, but why Shimo-Sakai? Why here? That's the kind of taste it has. All the meats have a clean and refreshing taste without any unpleasant smell. The juicy beef tongue, the succulent harami, and the tender tomosankaku that you can chew forever, all have a very good seasoning. The smokeless roaster cooks the meat perfectly. When I asked the owner where the meat is from, he said they don't focus on a specific region but rather source good quality meat. They also don't discriminate between male and female cattle, aiming to offer the meat at a reasonable price. It's a fantastic yakiniku restaurant.

I recently visited the increasingly difficult-to-book 【Shimura Tokujuen】. When I arrived at the restaurant, I saw that it was featured in a yakiniku book by EXILE's SHOKICHI. One dish that I highly recommend trying at this restaurant is the Black Tan. It is a must-try. The roast beef, kimchi platter, Black Tan, lamp, ichibo, hatsumi, and tomohawk were all incredibly delicious. I will definitely be going back. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It had been a while since I had a meal with my mother, so we decided to go to this restaurant located further north on the Mita Line. The specialty here is the limited quantity Black Tan, but after hearing that a 200g portion costs over 15,000 yen, we opted for the next best thing - the thick-cut premium Tan. It was incredibly juicy and delicious, with the sirloin, skirt steak, and short rib all being smooth and tasty. However, the portions for each cut were a bit small, making it feel a bit overpriced. I thought that if it were a little more reasonably priced, the overall satisfaction would be higher.

When it comes to family barbecue, we went to Shimumu Tokusuen. Kimchi assortment, tomato and oi kimchi are a must-have! Black tongue, you can't eat this anywhere else! It's special! Top grade loin, tender and delicate meat. No need for words, just cook it quickly. Roast beef, the taste varies slightly each time. The sauce is delicious too. Grilled senmai, not usually done in the summer, but you can enjoy a little bit here. Grilled liver with salt, the liver is cooked with a rich flavor and no smell. Harami, the most delicious cut of the day. The texture and fat are different from other places. Red peppers are usually served with lean meat. Rib roll, the fat here is not overpowering, so it's the only delicious kalbi you can eat! Grilled fatty senmai, sizzling and delicious. The fat is seared and then eaten. Tegutan soup, the soup is also delicious! Tomosankaku, this is a must-have! The finishing touch is definitely Tomosankaku! It may not be suitable for those accustomed to artificial seasoning, but I love the meat quality and atmosphere of this restaurant. You might understand once you taste it, but they don't use pepper in their seasoning, so you can enjoy the natural aroma of the meat. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

As usual, we went to Shimumu Tokujuen with my family. The tongue and skirt steak were exceptionally delicious that day. The skirt steak was seasoned with salt and miso sauce! It had a good amount of fat but wasn't too heavy, and no artificial seasonings were used, so we didn't get tired of eating it. We will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal!

The yakiniku restaurant we always go to as a family is Shimumu Tokujuen. I wonder how many years it has been, we come here several times a month. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is also great. They are very particular about the meat and trim it to provide only the best parts, making it exceptionally delicious. The black tongue is precious! Delicious! If you think the price is high, it may not be recommended to eat here. The domestic harami and sagari are exceptional! As I get older, I have become a bit tired of kalbi, but the ones here are not too heavy and the fat is delicious. The horumon salt is good, but I recommend the sauce! The mino is also better with sauce than salt. The tomosankaku is best eaten with rice. Looking forward to another great year. Thank you for the meal.

I brought some people from the company here. It's a well-known restaurant! We made a reservation for 18:00 and visited. We ordered Chorogi Salad, assorted Namul, and a platter of three types of Kimchi. Everything was delicious! For the meat, we had thick-cut premium tongue and top harami, which my companions said was the best they've ever had. I was also happy to hear that! It was really delicious!! I will definitely go back again!

At the end of 2022, my family went to Shimumu Tokujuen for yakiniku. There were one adult and two children, so we chose the light course. The tongue is always delicious, isn't it? Since it was the end of the year, there were hardly any hormone dishes, so we only ordered the tripe. In the end, we had tomosankaku. Thank you for the meal!

First time at Tokusuen... the popular menu items I wanted were almost sold out... the central wholesale market sales were closed, so that was disappointing... the local popular yakiniku restaurant is run by a parent and child, so everything, including ordering, is slow... it can't be helped, but the meat quality is not bad, although thin slices would be tastier if possible.
