Western-style lunch -> shaved ice -> Here! It's a pastel cafe. Well, when I looked at the menu, a cafe? They have a lineup of hearty meals. I'm not really attracted to meal items because I feel quite full. But when it comes to sweet treats, it's a different story. Why is that, I wonder (°∀°). I talked to my friend about how the first time I tried pastel pudding, it was shocking. For me, when it comes to pudding, it's Morozoff's firm pudding. If you're from Kansai, most households have Morozoff's pudding in a glass case. If there was Morozoff's pudding, I would get excited. When I was in elementary school, there was a slightly fancy pudding sold at the supermarket, but I can't remember the name. The pudding was heavily advertised on TV at the time, and I liked that pudding too. -> After searching and searching, I found out! It was Joli Madame's baked pudding! Well, firm puddings were the mainstream, but the melting texture of pastel pudding was truly shocking. However, trends change quickly. The pastel pudding craze of the past is now... It's still delicious, but it's interesting how trendy sweets come and go. All things are impermanent. My friend ordered coffee for now. I ordered lemon tart and coffee. It's hot, but we just had shaved ice nearby and cooled down, so we both chose hot coffee. Lemon tart! Even though I was full, I chose a heavy tart, which shows (´Д`) But it was delicious. However, it's unthinkable to visit a pastel cafe and not eat pudding. So I added a plain type of pudding. My friend ordered the panda-shaped pudding. The pastel pudding I had after a long time was smooth, had a great mouthfeel, and truly melted in the mouth! After getting full and eating too much in the afternoon, I decided to skip dinner.
