I didn't go to the usual ramen place (I have a sore throat and my voice is hoarse, so I'm avoiding spicy food for now~ haha), instead I ordered the Gokou meat ban ban ji with extra cucumbers and highball fried rice! It's been a while since I had fried rice~ I asked for a little extra pepper and salt on it! Oh, I've never tried highball fried rice before! Huh? Mmm!! Japanese people sure love their rice, it was so delicious. This is dangerous, definitely dangerous to be eating this late at night. Oh, I'm not alone in this meal, haha. Thank you for the meal! ✨

I ate a lot, but maybe because I sang karaoke, or maybe just because I got drunk and wanted something spicy, I ended up eating it every time... Seriously, it's too addictive lol. I usually eat the Sanraa, but the medium spicy tantan is also quite delicious~♡ I want to try the extra spicy tantan~( ̄▽ ̄) Thank you for the meal, it was delicious! I'll be back again!!

I'm back again! Second stop - I didn't get hungry in between, but I felt like having another highball. Ended up at a ramen shop and got the spicy tan-tan ramen. It was really spicy, but in a good way. It's milder compared to the Sanra-men, but still delicious. Thank you for the meal! ✨️

Tantan noodles for 850 yen, extra spicy. It's been a while since I've been to Takako! The price seems to have gone up a bit, but it's understandable. The fact that they still have boiled eggs on the table is impressive! It was around 2:30 pm and I was really hungry, the thin noodles were easy to eat and delicious, I finished it in no time. Thank you for the meal.

I went there before but didn't leave a review! I apologize for my vague memory, but I remember that the food was delicious! You can choose between thin noodles and thick noodles, but if you don't specify, it seems to default to thin noodles. The noodles were very tasty, similar to Chinese yangchun noodles. They were quite thin. The pork was crispy and delicious! There are signs at the entrance indicating which days eggs are free and which days you can get dumplings for 100 yen, but I didn't notice them so make sure to check before you go! There were many menu options available, and it seemed like there was a second floor as well. Many regular customers were keeping bottles and drinking.

After drinking, I really love the super spicy ramen here! I like to add extra vinegar to it! Just be careful when inhaling quickly, as the spices can make you cough. It's hot and spicy, so make sure to blow on it before eating! Also, I love the char siu here, it's so tasty! I usually enjoy it with some pickled vegetables as a snack. It was crowded on the first floor, so we sat on the second floor. It was a bit warm up there, but I was happy to finally eat my favorite ramen. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

A shop in Yushima that serves tantanmen. Honestly, I don't remember much because I was drunk haha. One thing I can say is that the tantanmen was easy to eat even when my stomach was already full. I probably won't go out of my way to visit again though haha.

Late night and I did it again haha. I always end up coming here... I usually go for the super spicy ramen, but after having regular soy sauce, this one is also good. Today's fried rice was even more delicious than usual! (Maybe because I had a drink?) And I couldn't resist ordering some dumplings too... I didn't eat much for dinner, so my stomach was growling late at night and led me here, it's a bad cycle but I love this pattern haha. It's getting hot so I want to go for some cold noodles soon. Even though it's late night, the lower seats were full so I had to sit upstairs. I bet everyone here is feeling the same way haha. Always enjoy my meal here! Will definitely come back again. Yes, once again I went to Ganryu Tantanmen Takeko for some reason I had a sudden craving for spicy noodles late at night (laughs). And I also had some drinks♪ For some reason, it's so easy to eat and ends up in my stomach (laughs). After drinking in Yushima, be sure to try it out too!

When you drink at Yushima, the finishing touch is bamboo. I recommend the super spicy Sichuan tantanmen or tsukemen. My favorite is to pour the super spicy soup over a small serving of white rice. The taste is addictive. Personally, I'm not a fan of anything other than super spicy (laughs). It's been quite popular lately, and it's always crowded on weekend late nights. Bamboo after a long time is still delicious (laughs). Thank you for the meal today too!

I ended up coming here again... I love adding more vinegar to the super spicy ramen! When I crave spicy ramen, I always come here haha. I came around 11:00 PM, and the first floor was full and the second floor was almost full. Seems like everyone wants to come here for the closing dish haha. They stay open late and also offer delivery, which is super helpful. I'll definitely come back again! Thank you for the meal!

A Sichuan-style ramen shop that's open until late at night! I always have it as a finishing touch after drinking! This time, I had ramen with spicy chicken, gyoza, and shrimp mayo! The gyoza was delicious~♪ And the spicy ramen was reliably tasty! They serve delicious spicy ramen and alcohol until late, so everyone should definitely check it out~♪

I was thinking about quitting, but ended up going to San Ramen and trying their super spicy ramen. It's delicious no matter when you eat it!! I managed to finish it while coughing from the spiciness haha. I was drunk when I went in, so I thought about getting fried rice too, but my self-control kicked in and I just went home after eating the ramen. I still want to eat fried rice though!

Around 16:00, I really started craving for tantanmen, so I searched and found this restaurant that was open for both lunch and dinner. When I entered the restaurant, I was welcomed by what I assume was the owner and was told to choose any seat I liked. I chose a seat at the end of the counter. There were only about 4 or 5 people in the restaurant, all of them seemed to be Chinese. The table had 3 eggs on it, and I was told that rice and eggs were complimentary. I ordered the simplest tantanmen and it arrived in just a few minutes. The first sip of the soup filled my mouth with the flavor of sesame, making me feel really happy. Personally, I thought the acidity of the soup could be a bit weaker, but overall, the chashu, noodles, and egg were all delicious and well-made. The half-boiled egg was especially amazing, and I wished I could have had two if I had more room in my stomach. The owner was friendly, and the menu seemed to have a lot of variety, so I would love to visit again.

I couldn't eat spicy food, so I ordered soy sauce ramen. It wasn't too light or too rich, just the right flavor. The topping added a nice accent. It became one of my favorites, especially after eating it as the last meal. The fact that smoking is allowed inside the restaurant is also a plus. I would like to visit again!

I love the Tenjinbashi branch of Takeko. It's similar to the main branch, but the menu is slightly different. I had the extra spicy tantanmen with a free boiled egg. I'm abstaining from alcohol, so no beer for me! The extra spicy flavor wasn't too intense. The thin noodles and soft char siu were perfect for me. I just love it, no specific reason. It was quite crowded during weekday lunch hours.

I went for lunch. It wasn't too crowded. I ordered tantan tsukemen. The noodles were chewy and the soup was delicious. Next time, I might go for a spicier option. I forgot to take a picture, but I also had some gyoza. They were so tasty, almost like a main dish.

I always eat at this stable place, Sanra, and their super spicy ramen is addictive. The soup has a hint of yuzu which I love, and the noodles here are great too. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the drinks are affordable if you get a bottle. They have a good selection of snacks too. When in doubt, this is the place to go! For me, it's my second go-to spot, and even my third choice!

For the second time in about a year, I went back to this place for revenge. Last time I was here in February, but didn't get to try their signature dish. This time, I had a few drinks and some snacks before diving into their Spicy Tan Tan Men noodles. It was delicious as always. I ended up having two Tomato Sour cocktails and the dumplings were pretty good too.

Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line Yushima Station is a 2-minute walk from Exit 4 on Kasuga Street towards Okachimachi. Perhaps due to its location, there seem to be many salarymen returning from drinking late at night. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats on the 1st floor, and table seats on the 2nd floor. The menu consists of basic items such as tantanmen, sanrāmen, shoyu ramen, and tsukemen, with variations available through toppings. There are also side dishes available, making it possible to use the restaurant as an izakaya as well. Tantanmen (October 4, 2022): The spiciness levels range from mild, normal, medium, to extra spicy. I chose medium spiciness, but it was not as spicy as I expected. The soup is lightly flavored with a soy sauce base and a hint of yuzu acidity, making it light. The sesame seeds are present but not overpowering. The noodles are thin and straight, cooked slightly soft. They have a smooth texture and hold the soup well. The toppings include chashu, Chinese cabbage, and green onions. The chashu is made from pork shoulder, offering a nice chewy texture. Unlike other places, the soup is not rich but rather easy to drink. It seems like a good choice for a light meal after drinking.
