Revisit: July birthday party was held at this restaurant, along with a farewell party for a retiree. We opted for the usual 2,980 yen course which included a wide variety of drinks. When we ordered the standard sweet potato shochu, the staff brought us a bottle of "Sakurajima" shochu, which was a thoughtful touch as it saved them the trouble of refilling our glasses with water each time. The dishes were satisfying and delicious, even for a group of six men there was still plenty left over. We spent a quick three hours, finishing two bottles of shochu. We'll definitely be back next month! Revisit: At the end of January on a weekday, we once again used this restaurant for a birthday party. For 2,980 yen, we enjoyed a 3-hour all-you-can-drink + karaoke session (reservation required by the day before, starting by 6:30 pm). The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! Some of the dishes included salmon and avocado wasabi salad, spicy miso with bamboo shoots, glazed mackerel, soft steamed chicken, crispy fried asparagus-wrapped beef, crunchy stir-fried shrimp, beef tortilla, and dessert (strawberries). The drink menu was also extensive, with options like premium malt beer, wheat shochu (Nikaido) with hot water, sweet potato shochu (Sakurajima) with hot water, highball, and soft drinks for non-alcohol drinkers. By ordering additional drinks at the right time, we were able to enjoy our drinks stress-free without rushing. At the end of September on a weekday, we used this restaurant for a birthday party for those born in September at our workplace. There were 8 participants, and we enjoyed a 3-hour all-you-can-drink session. Our usual group loves karaoke, so having a place where we could eat and drink while singing karaoke was perfect. The food was very satisfying, comparable to other izakaya menus in the area. The 3-hour course with all-you-can-drink was much more enjoyable and affordable than having separate venues for izakaya and karaoke. The karaoke system displayed the correct notes and key changes, making it easy to sing along. The drink selection was plentiful with options like beer, shochu, and sours. The staff, mostly foreign women, provided prompt service without rushing us, bringing out food and drinks efficiently. Since many of us were eager to sing, we had a rule of singing only one verse before passing the mic, making the three hours fly by. We all agreed to have our next birthday party here. We'll definitely be back.
