This restaurant specializes in "kaki niku" rather than yakiniku! The A4 to A5 rank "Meijin Wagyu" is raised with high-quality feed, rich in oleic acid that prevents cholesterol increase. It is a new type of meat dish where the Wagyu beef is cooked with seasonal vegetables in a special sauce. It is recommended for those who are health-conscious or into fitness.♂️We had the ¥4800 course, but they also offer a ¥6000 course where you can enjoy "uni ku" and "nikura," and other options starting from ¥3500. The Choragi salad with just the right seasoning and tasty Korean seaweed was a delightful appetizer that came with a good portion. A delicious restaurant always boosts one's mood, right?⤴️Next, we tried the Meijin Wagyu aburi sushi, which was seasoned with salt and minced wasabi. True to its reputation, the Meijin Wagyu had excellent texture and melted in the mouth.※The portion of kaki niku was more than we expected, so we refrained from ordering more, but we could have easily had about 10 more pieces.Then came the main dish, the kaki niku! The unique flat iron pot with a hollow center was neatly lined with Meijin Wagyu and Egoma pork. We dipped the meat and vegetables in the special broth in the center and enjoyed them together. The broth had a rich umami flavor, the Meijin Wagyu melted in the mouth, and the Egoma pork with its elegant fat content was a highlight. The mushrooms, cabbage, lotus root, bean sprouts, and other vegetables underneath the meat were plentiful. The kaki niku was incredibly delicious.※Personally, I found that the ponzu sauce paired very well with the dish.Furthermore, the risotto made by the staff using the broth infused with the flavors of the meat and vegetables was a creamy and rich Mozzarella cheese risotto that was incredibly delicious.The dessert was a smooth and flavorful Tiramisu ice cream, which was a perfect palate cleanser.☺️We thoroughly enjoyed the deliciousness of the kaki niku and felt that the ¥4800 course was quite a bargain.
