Azzurri
Just a few minutes' walk from Akasaka Station, there is a seafood bar located on the first floor of Hotel Felice, with a name that says it all. You can enjoy fresh seafood such as crab, shrimp, and oysters from all over the country. I started with a toast with a Heartland beer because I was feeling a bit thirsty. Since I was there, I decided to try the All-Star Course with shrimp, crab, and oysters. The meal began with a Caesar salad featuring White Princess shrimp from Ryugu, with a crispy texture and a creamy onsen egg. The crab and avocado tartare, topped with ikura and caviar, was a luxurious treat that should be enjoyed without reservation. Today's fresh oysters were from Akkeshi, Hokkaido, and they were plump and creamy, truly living up to their reputation. The Hiroshima oyster fry should be eaten while it's still hot, generously dipped in tartar sauce. The seafood ajillo with snow crab, shrimp, oysters, tomatoes, and broccoli, paired with a Smirnoff lemonade soda cocktail, was refreshing and easy to drink. The lobster gratin, ordered separately, was topped with plenty of cheese, and the slightly spicy sauce complemented the lobster well. The snow crab tomato cream pasta, made with flat pasta, had a rich cream sauce that coated the pasta nicely. For dessert, I had vanilla and white peach ice cream to cleanse my palate. This time, I enjoyed various dishes with crab, shrimp, and oysters, but they also offer courses with all-you-can-eat shrimp and oysters, so be sure to check them out. Bon appétit!
