Today, I visited Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora. Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora is a sushi restaurant located in Minato-ku, Tokyo. As the name suggests, this restaurant offers sushi as well as Osaka-style deep-fried skewers. I decided to visit this place because you can enjoy authentic sushi at a reasonable price of 8800 yen. The interior of the restaurant is very sophisticated, and I sat at the counter to start the course. The dishes included clam soup with rich broth, marinated octopus with great texture, bonito sashimi, horse mackerel, Ebitora roll, and more. The course ended with delicious egg omelette. Overall, the sushi was of high quality and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of sushi you can get for 8800 yen. The deep-fried skewers in between were also a tasty addition. It was a satisfying experience. Thank you for the meal.

A sushi restaurant located in Aoyama, on the 2nd floor of the building where THE AOYAMA GRAND HOTEL is also located. The location is great and the atmosphere is fantastic. Visited on a holiday at 6 pm. There are both counter seats and tables, and there were many girls' gatherings happening throughout. Ordered the omakase course for ¥8800. It consisted of 23 items, allowing you to try a variety of dishes little by little, which is perfect for those who like to taste different things. When I go to a sushi restaurant, I often feel like having something warm as well, and here they serve tempura in between the sushi, which provides a nice balance. The portions are satisfying, so even men should be pleased. The head chef seemed intimidating at first, but turned out to be quite playful, making the dining experience enjoyable. The dishes included on this day were: (list of dishes).

Sushi and tempura skewers in one place! As someone who loves both too much, I thought it was like a dreamland. ▽---------------------▽ ○ Shop Name: Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora ○ Tabelog Rating: 3.07 (as of 09/17/2023) ○ 3 minutes walk from Gaienmae Station ○ Night Budget: ¥12,000 per person ○ Address: 2-14-4 THE ARGYLE aoyama 2F, Kitaaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo ○ Instagram: @EBBITORA ○ Business Hours: [Lunch] 11:30-14:30 [Dinner] 18:00-22:00 ※Closed on irregular days ※Payment by card & PayPay available △---------------------△ I made a reservation for Sunday dinner! 【Crowded Situation】 At 6:00 pm on Sunday, the occupancy rate was 80%. Today is Monday, right!? Wow, it's so popular! Reservations are recommended! 【Recommended Usage Scenes】 Friends, colleagues, lovers, family, girls' night out ※There are both counter seats and table seats, so it's suitable for various occasions! 【Order】 ◆ Night Omakase Course: ¥8,800 with free drinks 【Course Contents】 ◾︎ Appetizers - Clam dashi - Boiled baby octopus - Ebitora roll with sansho soy sauce - Steamed seaweed and mushroom with raw sea bream - Deep-fried scales of red snapper - Spinach and mushroom ohitashi ◾︎ Nigiri Sushi - White squid - Smoked bonito with mustard from Fukui - Greater amberjack - Marinated tuna - Medium fatty tuna - Kelp-wrapped baby sardine - Mackerel - Seared belt fish - Conger eel ◾︎ Tempura Skewers - Fried ginkgo nuts - Garlic bulb - Soft-boiled quail egg with French caviar on top ◾︎ Soup: Miso soup with clams ◾︎ Roll: Kanpyo roll ◾︎ Tamagoyaki 【Special Points】 ① Sushi x Tempura Skewers Hybrid Is there any other place that offers both high-quality sushi and tempura skewers? No, I don't know of any other place besides this one. Both are top-notch, with a strong emphasis on quality. The rice used for the sushi is "Tatsunomihitomi" from Gifu, with just the right size and sweetness, perfectly complementing the red vinegar. The deliciousness far exceeded my expectations, and I was very satisfied! ② Stylish and Clean Space An exquisite balance of elegance and casualness. The counter sushi has a cozy atmosphere that even those who feel nervous can enjoy, thanks to its casualness. There are also table seats, so you can enjoy it even with a larger group. It's perfect for a day when you want to indulge a little in luxury rather than a special occasion! ③ Attentive Service Although it's a mid-priced restaurant where you can enjoy casual dining, the service is attentive and the satisfaction level is high! Good service really enhances the overall experience. 【Overall】 I was very satisfied!! It was my first time at a restaurant that offers both sushi and tempura skewers, and both had a sense of dedication to top-notch flavors. Yet, the price is quite high in terms of cost performance. In Tokyo, sushi restaurants often cost over 30,000 yen, and tempura skewers can cost 20,000 to 30,000 yen. Yet, this hybrid format costs around 10,000 yen, which is fantastic value for money. I was very full and satisfied! Thank you for the feast.

Today's meal is at this restaurant, "Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora," located just a short walk from Gaienmae Station. The restaurant is inside a hotel, which gives it a very clean and elegant feel. As you sit at the counter, you'll notice that there is a tiger at each seat. These tigers actually do a great job, I heard. I started with the clam dashi soup, which was rich and comforting. Then, I tried the fried ginkgo nuts, which were crispy and delicious. The salted kelp with sudachi was refreshing, and the spicy smoked bonito with ground red pepper was a surprising combination. The Ebitora Maki, shrimp tempura roll seasoned with sansho pepper soy sauce, was crispy and flavorful. The Inunaki pork kushikatsu was juicy and tender, and the seaweed ankake chawanmushi had a lovely aroma. The medium fatty tuna was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the lean tuna marinated in soy sauce was perfect with drinks. The Kaiware daikon salad was crunchy and tasty, and the Yamagata garlic kushikatsu was crispy and flavorful. The ama-dai fish scale tempura was light and crispy, and the boiled spinach was a simple and delicious side dish. The Toro, takuan, and sea urchin hand roll was a luxurious treat, and the half-cooked belt fish had a nice fatty texture. The shime saba with shirasu and squid was a delightful combination, and the clam miso soup was a comforting end to the meal. The kanpyo maki, sweet and savory braised gourd roll, was filled with plenty of delicious ingredients. The tamagoyaki, fluffy and sweet egg omelet, was like a pudding. The combination of sushi and kushikatsu was surprisingly perfect. The cute tigers, along with the playful chef, created a relaxed atmosphere for a delightful meal. Ebi-Tora on the 2nd floor of Aoyama Grand Hotel. The atmosphere was very nice and we chose the 10-piece sushi course. The non-sushi dishes were also delicious and we couldn't wait to see what would come next! It was a counter seat, and the head chef asked about the amount of rice and any ingredients we didn't like, which was very nice. He also joined in the conversation from time to time, making it fun and enjoyable. Each piece of sushi was carefully made and delicious. This was my first time at a non-conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but I really liked it! I will definitely go for the evening omakase course next time! Thank you very much. This was the 100th celebration.

I finally visited the restaurant I was curious about in Gaienmae. "Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora" is a great place where seasonal delicacies, sushi, and occasional skewers are served. The head chef, who trained at a famous sushi restaurant, serves delicious sushi with a twist of skewers. The omakase course with 24 dishes for ¥8,800 is quite reasonable. The dishes included clam soup, edamame, octopus, soft simmered octopus, and more. The sushi was made with red vinegar and the shrimp tempura roll with sansho soy sauce was amazing. The menu had a great variety, including wine, maguro sashimi, chawanmushi with nori, and more. The meal ended with miso soup with shijimi clams, kanpyo maki, and egg. Overall, it was a highly satisfying and enjoyable experience. Make a reservation and check it out at Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora in Gaienmae.

Sushi Tokidoki Kushikatsu Ebbitora, located in Omotesando, reopened in June this year. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience where you can enjoy both sushi and kushikatsu together. The course menu, priced at ¥8,800, consists of a total of 23 dishes served in small portions. The combination of sushi and kushikatsu is a fun and innovative concept. Specialties like the Ebbitora roll, Toro and Uni hand rolls, and kushikatsu with French caviar are all delicious choices. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is child-friendly, making it suitable for various occasions. It is likely to become more popular in the future. You can also consider using the adjacent Aoyama Grand Hotel's BELCOMO or hotel bar for a second round of drinks. The course menu I tried included dishes like clam soup, boiled edamame from Yamagata, octopus simmered in soy sauce, bonito sashimi, and more.

Located a 1-minute walk from Gaienmae Station, on the 2nd floor of the Aoyama Grand Hotel is "Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora". I enjoyed the evening omakase course (23 items) for 9,240 yen (tax included) with a lovely friend. The head chef, who trained at a famous restaurant, uses Gifu prefecture's brand rice "Ryuno Hitomi" for the red vinegar shari, which is the specialty of Ebitora. The evening omakase included: clam soup with rich dashi, green soybeans from Yamagata, red snapper sashimi with vinegar and yuzu, simmered octopus, white squid nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, Ebitora roll with fried angel shrimp and sansho soy sauce, kaiware seaweed-wrapped nigiri, Wagyu menchi-katsu skewer, seaweed chawanmushi, marinated lean tuna nigiri, medium fatty tuna nigiri, kombu-wrapped squid and firefly squid skewer with white soy sauce, red sea bream scale tempura, torotaku sea urchin hand roll, water eggplant, saba nigiri, seared kamasu nigiri, Yamagata garlic skewer, conger eel nigiri, clam miso soup, dried gourd roll, tamago, and clam miso soup. The course was a great value for the price, and the atmosphere at the slightly upscale counter was relaxing, allowing for enjoyable conversation. The restaurant offers a view of greenery outside, providing a peaceful dining experience in the heart of the city. I will definitely be returning for the evening courses starting at 6,600 yen.

Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Ebitora @Gaienmae Dinner in Gaienmae. The location is on the 2nd floor of "THE ARGYLE aoyama" (is it better to say Aoyama Grand Hotel?) a few minutes' walk from the station. This restaurant reopened in June. The interior has an L-shaped counter and table seats. It has a calm and modern atmosphere, suitable for dates or business dinners. In conclusion, this place is quite a bargain. For 8,800 yen, you can enjoy a course of sushi and occasional skewers with a total of 23 dishes. The quality of the food at this price in this location is truly amazing. On this day, I was fortunate to sit in front of the young master, Akamatsu-san, and enjoy beautifully prepared sushi and skewers. Here are some highlights from the omakase dinner: - Clam soup with a rich broth - Edamame, a perfect snack with beer - Red snapper sashimi with salt and wasabi - Simmered octopus with yuzu - Squid sushi with red vinegar - Amberjack sushi with a good amount of fat - Ebitora Maki, a specialty of the restaurant - Quail egg and French caviar skewer - Sweetfish scale tempura rice bowl - Corn skewer with salt - Conger eel sushi with a soft and fluffy texture - Miso soup with clams - Egg omelette with a smooth texture and a hint of sweetness In summary, the variety and quality of the sushi and skewers at this restaurant are excellent, and the attentive service from the chef and staff made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. You are sure to leave satisfied after dining here. I highly recommend giving it a try.

I visited with a friend and we enjoyed an 8,800 yen course at the counter seats, chatting with the chef and artisans. They served 23 dishes in small portions, offering a good balance of sushi and skewers. Personally, I really liked the shrimp tiger roll, red tuna nigiri, sea urchin negitoro roll, and dried gourd roll. The skewers included minced cutlet, half-cooked quail egg, and ripe corn, all light and not too heavy, making it easy to eat as many as you like. There were also solo diners enjoying their meal, creating a welcoming atmosphere for solo dining. I would love to come back again!

When you feel like eating sushi but also craving for tempura, a perfect place would be "Sushi Tokidoki Kushi Kaikora". You can enjoy both sushi and tempura in one place, which is like hitting two birds with one stone. Make a reservation and visit this hidden gem located on the 2nd floor of a building near Gaienmae. The cozy atmosphere with an L-shaped counter and table seats will make you feel like you're in a secret hideaway. The recommended course for ¥8,800 is a great value for money. Starting with a Suntory Premium Malts to quench your thirst, followed by a delicious clam soup. The summer classic of barley and peas pairs perfectly with your beer. The tender simmered octopus has a great texture, and the fresh sea bream sashimi with just a touch of salt is delightful. The special sake "Tenyufuku" with the aroma of Yamadanishiki rice is smooth and goes well with the dishes. The squid tempura with red vinegar rice and nori is a perfect combination of flavors. The deep-fried shrimp roll with shiso soy sauce is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The minced meat cutlet with seaweed sauce is a surprising and tasty dish. The hot steamed egg custard with seaweed sauce is comforting and flavorful. The marinated tuna and medium fatty tuna are both delicious. The crunchy seaweed and kombu salad is refreshing and tasty. The squid with eggs and kombu is a unique and flavorful tempura. The crispy fried sweetfish with a thick skin is addictive. The chilled water eggplant is a refreshing palate cleanser. The marinated mackerel with a beautiful shine is tangy and delicious. The seared fatty fish with a thick flesh is aromatic and rich. The clam miso soup is a perfect ending to the meal. The rolled burdock root and sweet omelette are a sweet and savory combination. This course, filled with a variety of sushi, appetizers, and tempura, all for ¥8,800, left my friend and me extremely satisfied. It was a fantastic find and a wonderful evening.

In our generation, it is better to refer to it as the former Belcomo, a sushi restaurant on the second floor of a commercial building at the intersection near Gaienmae. I made a reservation and visited because I was intrigued by the reasonable price of 5,500 yen for the lunch omakase and the reviews from other customers. The building is easy to find, but the entrance is a bit tricky. There are A and B zones, and if you take the wrong escalator, you'll end up taking a long detour. Yes, we fell into that trap. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had a seat ready for us at the counter, and we sat down smoothly. The bright interior had just been renovated and was clean and fresh. The large window allowed us to see the street trees bathed in the summer sunlight, which looked lush and beautiful. Inside the counter, two energetic sushi chefs were skillfully preparing and serving sushi. We ordered the lunch omakase (¥5,500) and were served some appetizers first. [Appetizers] - Boiled isogai clam - Mekabu kelp - Boiled water octopus - Aosa chawanmushi [Sushi] - Kohada (gizzard shad) - White squid - Madai (red sea bream) - Hotate (scallop) - Kanpachi (amberjack) - Akami (lean tuna) - Chutoro (medium fatty tuna) - Toro (fatty tuna) - Toro-taku ohagi - Kazunoko matsunomono (herring roe) - Amaebi (sweet shrimp) - Bafun uni (sea urchin) - Anago (sea eel) - Kanpyo maki (dried gourd roll) - Tamago (egg) Overall, it was a delight to be able to enjoy sushi of this quality for lunch, and the pricing was surprisingly reasonable. It seems that the restaurant originally was a tempura shop, but sushi chefs from the famous "Sushi Iwa O" in Akasaka joined in, creating a new style of restaurant. I would like to visit again for dinner and try their tempura as well. Truly, thank you for the wonderful meal.

On July 27, 2023, I visited this new restaurant with two friends for the first time. It offers both sushi and tempura, a unique concept. Located on the 2nd floor of Jiargyle Aoyama (Aoyama Grand Hotel), which recently reopened in the former Belcomonz location. Initially, it was a tempura specialty shop, but now it has a sushi chef as well. The restaurant is operated by QRAUD, which also runs upscale restaurants like Ushi Tomomi and Ginza Sugano. The interior is stylish with a long counter and tables, creating a great atmosphere. We tried the "Night Omakase Course" which included dishes like clear clam dashi, rare boiled octopus, smoked bonito, and various sushi items. Each dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The quality of the sushi and tempura is impressive, making it a great dining experience.

It's been a while since I visited Sotobori-dori. This time, I headed in a different direction from my usual destination, Jingu Stadium. I took the escalator to the second floor, passing by the large Kawakami-an store, and continued towards the back where the restaurant was located. I arrived at 6:30 pm, the first customer of the evening. I started off with a toast of sparkling wine and chatted with the staff before beginning the enjoyable course meal. The warm clam soup was the first dish served, a common trend lately. This was followed by water octopus, smoked bonito, red sea bream, horse mackerel sushi, and shrimp rolls. The shrimp rolls were wrapped in crispy seaweed. I switched to white wine for my second drink and then the skewers arrived. A small tiger was actively arranging the skewers at this point. The steamed egg custard with fresh seaweed was served next, followed by fatty tuna sushi and battleship rolls. After a quail skewer, a dish of fried sea bream on rice was presented, which was delicious. The portion size was just right. I then moved on to a watered-down Tominohouzan shochu, followed by Saga's Tenpuku sake. The meal continued with mackerel sushi, corn skewers, salmon roe Matsumae pickles, simmered conger eel, and a variety of other dishes. I was completely satisfied with the balance between sushi and skewers, and the smaller-sized rice portions allowed me to keep enjoying the food. The clientele and staff were pleasant, creating a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying the food and drinks. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
