It is located on the 1st floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. It is a shop that offers sweets using caramel. I purchased the "melmel Melmel" which has chocolate and caramel sauce between cookies. They offer 6 pieces, 10 pieces, and 15 pieces. The physical store is only in Shibuya Scramble Square. Otherwise, they sell at events or through their official online shop.

Caramel box with 12 pieces costs 2160 yen. It includes 6 different flavors, with 2 pieces each. The unique feature is that there is chocolate inside. However, when you eat it, it tastes like regular caramel. Each piece costs 180 yen, but they are small so you end up eating them all. The Cafe and Exotic flavors are delicious.

The main store of La Terre in Sangenjaya, Setagaya, is known for its chocolate-filled thin cookies, which are considered the most delicious. The taste is similar to La Terre's milk sandwich cookies, but in chocolate version. The milk sandwich cookies were popular for a while and were purchased online multiple times and used as gifts due to their affordable price. The other two cookie flavors are also delicious, but not to the extent of being recommended or repurchased by customers.

On the first floor of Shibuya Scramble Square, there is a shop that sells the following items:
- 6 pieces of Mel Mel for 1,050 yen
- Caramel Gâteau Sandwich (1 piece) for 400 yen
Mel Mel consists of crispy cookies filled with caramel sauce. They are thin and easy to eat, individually wrapped, making them a perfect gift. The Gâteau Sandwich also has a crispy texture and allows you to fully enjoy the caramel. It's great that you can purchase just one piece.

I received Melmel as a souvenir. It is made with organic sugar from sugar cane that has not been treated with chemical fertilizers or pesticides, which is reassuring. The simple cookies are filled with rich caramel and chocolate. Even though there isn't a lot of caramel or chocolate, both flavors stand out and are very delicious.

Caramel Shop "Melting Caramel" is a sweet and delicious confectionery shop located at Scramble Square 1st floor, 2-24-12 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0002. I ordered "Mel Mel" and "Mels SAND". "Mel Mel" comes in packs of 6 for 1,080 yen (tax included), 10 for 1,782 yen (tax included), and 15 for 2,673 yen (tax included). It is a caramel sauce chocolate sandwich that is sweet and delicious. "Mels SAND" comes in three flavors: Salty Nuts, Berry, and Exotic. I purchased Berry and Exotic flavors, both of which were sweet and delicious with a creamy texture.

A large butter sandwich. The cookie dough is moist, and the buttercream is sweet and smooth, delicious and sinful. Inside the cream are plenty of nuts. One is incredibly satisfying, almost to the point where you can't eat two.

Opened in 2019 as a new landmark in Shibuya, Shibuya Scramble Square is home to this shop located on the first floor. As the name suggests, they offer sweets using caramel, such as caramel sauce with chocolate sandwiched between cookies called "Mel mel" (6 pieces for 1,080 yen including tax). My impression is that it is quite delicious. The crispy cookies made with wheat flour from Biei, Hokkaido, the rich chocolate, and the smooth caramel sauce were all very tasty and disappeared in no time. While chocolate and caramel together may seem overly sweet, it was actually a perfect balance of sweetness that was enjoyable. The price is reasonable and the packaging is cute, making it a great choice for a small gift. Thank you for the meal.

Tokyo exclusive!! Souvenir that can only be bought in Tokyo [Mels] Purchased at the food show inside Shibuya Scramble Square, with a distinctive orange package. Craftsmen who fell in love with the charm of caramel and explored it, resulting in a caramel specialty store. What I purchased this time was Mel mel, a crispy cookie made with Hokkaido wheat, filled with rich chocolate and gooey caramel. The sugar used in the caramel is organic sugar made from sugarcane, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides, containing abundant minerals. Delicious and with a focus on ingredients, this baked confectionery is the best. Thank you for the meal!

It was a bit sweet for me, but very delicious♡

A caramel confectionery specialty store in Shibuya. On this day, I purchased some treats for home. I bought a selection called Trois, which included Blond Chocolate Brownie, Blond Chocolate Caramel, and buttery rich Sablé Breton baked goods. I enjoyed them at home. The Sablé had a crispy texture on top, while the brownie had a soft texture underneath. The rich caramel in the middle combined perfectly, creating a delicious balance. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sand Salty Nuts: This cookie has a strong salty caramel flavor with a hint of bitterness. The caramel sweetness is not overwhelming, making it perfect for caramel lovers. The buttery texture is dense and rich, almost like a cream cookie. It is moist and the nuts add a nice crunchy texture as an accent.

Mels Caramel Works at Shibuya Scramble Square. I visited here upon the request of a caramel-loving wife. Sand (Exotic) 3,6: Brightly exotic Japan♪ More like a tropical image, sandwiched with mango cream on a Galette Breton dough. It was delicious. If you're looking for caramel flavor, I think the (Classic) sandwich would be good. Mermel 3,7: A cookie sandwich with chocolate and caramel. The sweetness is rich, with a slight bitterness of caramel. And a hint of chocolate fragrance. If you love caramel, this cookie seems delicious and satisfying. Since they don't sell them individually, I bought a pack of six and they gave me two extra as a service. Lucky, but it's a mystery (*^-^) Mermel is delicious as it is, but if you warm it up slightly (about 10 seconds at 600w), it becomes gooey caramel and even more delicious.

I received a box of 6 Melmel (972 yen) from a shop that sells sweets made with caramel. It's a cookie sandwich with caramel sauce wrapped in chocolate. The outside is crispy, the chocolate melts in your mouth, and the rich caramel sauce inside is quite sweet. Personally, I find it too sweet, so I don't think I would buy it again.

On a regular day around 11:00, it was not crowded.
At the basement food section of Hankyu Department Store in Osaka, there was a limited-time sale for takeout only.
Sandwich (Ethnic) - 324 yen
It was really delicious! Between soft cookies, there was cream sandwiched. At first glance, it looked like a cream with firmness. But when you eat it, it's soft and light cream. And the sweetness is mild! The "Ethnic" flavor I wondered about turned out to be a hint of tropical fruit flavor. For 324 yen, this is a great deal!
I would definitely buy it again if I see it. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a popular caramel shop in the Depachika (basement food floor) of Hankyu Department Store Umeda in Osaka. I bought the Mel's Sand Salty Nuts. The caramel cream was not too sweet and delicious. I wanted to buy more, but the expiration date was only 2 days away, so I had to pass. I hope to have another chance to try their caramels and fondue in the future.

Upon leaving the south exit of Shibuya Station, I came across a bakery in Scramble Square that specializes in caramel and cookie combinations. It was a unique shop that I had never seen before, so I decided to give it a try. Later I found out that it is part of the La Terre group, which also has a store in Shibuya Tokyu. I visited around 7 pm on a weekday and unfortunately, the cheesecake "Fondue" that caught my eye was already sold out. I ended up purchasing the "Sand Salty Nuts/Exotic" for ¥324 each. Although they are sold in sets of 3, I only bought 2, which were securely packaged in sturdy cardboard. The paper bag included a 3-hour cooling pack and an additional plastic bag for carrying, which was a nice touch. The "Sand" was a 5cm cylindrical shape filled with caramel cream sandwiched between crumbly Galette Breton. The caramel cream had a light and fluffy texture, almost like buttercream, and the cookie-like crumbly texture added a nice crunch. The "Nuts" provided a subtle bitterness and the pecan nuts added a nice accent. The "Exotic" had a tropical flavor profile, although it didn't taste like caramel, it was still delicious. It was sweet but not overpowering, with a delicate and ephemeral texture. I realized afterwards that freezing it might make it easier to eat. While I couldn't quite pinpoint the caramel flavor, I didn't dislike it and would be willing to try it again next time.

I purchased the sandwich at Daimaru Sapporo event. I heard it was from a shop in Tokyo, but the "Mells Sandwich" I bought was actually made in Hokkaido, and a similar tasting sandwich can be bought at the affiliated "Ferm La Terre Biei" shop haha. It's not exactly the same, but it tastes like Ferm's butter cheese sandwich with caramel added. By adding caramel, it becomes a bit overwhelming, so to be honest, Ferm's sandwich is tastier... "Ferm La Terre Biei" is located in Colette Marunouchi Terrace. I bought a set of three sandwiches: Salty Nuts, Berry, and Exotic, as well as some fresh caramel. The caramel comes in various flavors for enjoyment. The pieces are quite large, providing a satisfying feeling with just one. They use organic sugar to make them.

Around 350 yen each. They are satisfying to eat. The cream is rich and dense, not fluffy. It melts in your mouth, with each flavor standing out, making you want to savor each one slowly. They need to be refrigerated, so they cannot be carried around for long after purchase.

During my visit back to my hometown, I made a detour to Shibuya Scramble Square and discovered a new brand called "Mels CARAMEL WORKS" by La Tail, known for their innovative caramel creations. One of their signature items is the Mel mel, a rich chocolate filled with oozing caramel sauce. It is a sandwich cookie made with crispy cookies using wheat flour from Biei, Hokkaido, and smooth caramel sauce. The caramel flavor is robust, but the cookie balances it out perfectly, creating a delightful sweetness in every bite. The main ingredient in the caramel, sugar, is made from organic sugar that has been researched for years. Surprisingly, it pairs well with black oolong tea. The packaging is also adorable, making it a great gift option. Thank you for the delicious treat.
