I visited after a long time. Since I was alone, I had to give up on the yakiniku as it was only available for two people, so I chose my favorite cold noodles instead. I like the style of cutting with scissors before eating. It came with 5 side dishes. Mixing mustard, vinegar, and kimchi for flavor variation is the best. However, the taste was not surprisingly great, just as expected. They didn't have non-alcoholic beer, so I ordered ginger soda, which was quite delicious. The cold noodles and drink together cost exactly 1,500 yen. Thank you for the meal.

- Visited around 13:30 without a reservation. There were plenty of seats available so we were seated right away. The staff seemed Korean. - The side dishes were delicious. This time, we ordered Galbitang, Bibimmyeon, and Dakgalbi. This person's restaurants always offer a satisfying balance of quantity and taste. The Galbitang soup had just the right amount of richness, not too strong or weak, and the meat was tender and the most delicious. Next time, I want to visit for the barbecue.

I visited this calm and relaxing yakiniku restaurant on a weekday evening. The seating inside was spacious and clean, including the restrooms. The staff cooked the meat for us from start to finish, allowing us to focus on our meal and conversation. The food was delicious and I would love to go back again!

Monday. In Shin-Okubo, there seems to be a lot of shops closed on Mondays. I wanted to have a leisurely lunch while catching up with a friend I haven't seen in a while, so I came here. I was intrigued by the Korean restaurant on the second floor of a building with a memorable impression. I was interested in the beef samgyeopsal, but after discussing with my friend, we decided on the ginseng chicken soup and the recommended miso stew. They say it's recommended to mix the stew with vegetables before eating. The ginseng chicken soup was delicious.

The kimchi and salad were delicious! I felt that the meat was all thin. I prefer thick samgyeopsal for Korean BBQ. The staff who served us were all Korean, which made it easier since they cooked the meat for us! The atmosphere made me feel like I was in Korea, and the exterior of the restaurant was very fancy and luxurious. However, they cooked the meat too quickly, so it kept getting pushed onto the onions or to the edge of the grill, making it hard to eat peacefully. But my partner treated me, so I'll give it a high rating with the power of happiness!

I came here after researching because I wanted to eat Ugyopsal that I had in Korea. The Ugyopsal, after a long time, was delicious! There were plenty of vegetables and I was very satisfied. I also had the Chijimi, which was thick and crispy, and it was also delicious. I want to come here again when I go to Shin-Okubo.

I was invited by a senior colleague to have Korean BBQ at a Shinjuku restaurant that I haven't visited in a while. Tonight, we had samgyupsal, which is pork instead of beef. Various vegetables and kimchi were lined up, and then charcoal was placed under the table to grill the pork. The staff at the restaurant took care of grilling the meat for us. Once the meat was cooked, they would cut it into crispy pieces, which were delicious. The combination of fatty pork and vegetables was really satisfying. It was also tasty when paired with kimchi. We finished the meal with cold noodles, which were refreshing. I enjoyed this leisurely lunch on a holiday. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited here after seeing B'z at Ariake Arena. I chose this place because I only have one meal in Tokyo on my Tokyo whirlwind tour. No mistake. The taste is consistently delicious as always. They quickly remove the charcoal once it's done burning. I had the thinly sliced beef Usamgyop. It's a unique menu item with Samgyupsal as the main dish in this area, and it's so delicious that you can't help but want to eat it. My wife seemed to have the feeling of "going there again", but you can't help it when you like something. It was a pleasant night with beer and Jowunde.

<Store and Service> The restaurant is produced by a famous Korean culinary researcher named Pek Jong-won. It is located facing Shinjuku Shokuan Street, right next to Don Quijote, making it easy to find. The restaurant is on the second floor, offering a good view from the top and a clean building. The interior is spacious with large tables, allowing for a relaxing dining experience. Popular K-POP music videos are played on a big monitor. <Cuisine> When I tried to order vegetables, I was told that they come with the meal. A large assortment of vegetables, including Namul, was served along with the meat, allowing for a delightful combination. The meat, mainly beef rather than pork, was delicious when wrapped in the vegetables without holding back. I opted for beef instead of the signature menu item, Usamgyeop. The staff cooked the meat for us, resulting in juicy and tasty meat. The seafood pancake was dense like an omelet but not greasy, making it easy to eat. Although I went for a lighter meal this time, I would like to come back to try other menu items.

The seasoning of the grilled pork belly was refreshing yet exquisite. When dipped in the special sauce, topped with green onions, and wrapped in vegetables, it creates a flavor that you can never get tired of. The egg chijimi was also delicious. It was a shame that we missed ordering the thick chijimi that other tables were enjoying. However, the miso stew at the end was amazing, especially when eaten with rice and fresh vegetables on top, and then pouring the miso stew over it, creating a unique way of eating similar to the Korean version of ochazuke.

I had Usamgyupsal, Samgyupsal, seafood pajeon, and sundubu with two friends. There were plenty of vegetables to wrap the meat in, such as thinly sliced radish, garlic, kimchi, and green onions. It was delicious to grill the meat and wrap it with the vegetables. However, I felt that the amount of meat in Usamgyupsal was a bit small for the price. The sundubu had a rich flavor, and the seafood pajeon was crispy and fluffy. I could tell it was a restaurant owned by Park Jeong-won.

The restaurant had a beautiful interior and the food and drinks were served quickly, allowing us to fully enjoy our time there. However, after enjoying our drinks for a while without ordering any food, we were presented with the bill even though we hadn't asked for it, and our plates were being cleared even though there was still food left. The restaurant was not even crowded, with more than half of the tables empty, so we were left feeling confused and disappointed. We didn't feel like we had done anything particularly rude, but we couldn't help but exchange puzzled looks with our friends. The experience was delicious, but now we're afraid to go back.

For my second stop, I had a light yakiniku meal. I had been wanting to try Shiro-sensei's restaurant for a while, so my expectations were high! I really wanted to have pork kalbi after a long time, but they only had beef here. The basic set came with a great assortment of vegetables. The meat was a little different than what I expected, but it was delicious.

Chadol Miso Jjigae ¥1,100 I visited the famous restaurant of Chef Pek for the first time. While everyone was grilling meat, I decided to try the jjigae. First, there were many side dishes - 5 types! Then came the miso jjigae, rice, and a bowl of vegetables. It was dinner time, but being able to have it in a set meal format was convenient. When it arrived, the smell reminded me of my grandma's house! The correct way to eat it seemed to be to scoop some soup, mix it with the vegetables and rice, and eat. It wasn't very spicy, and eating it with the vegetables gave it a refreshing taste. It was very filling. Each side dish wasn't a lot, but there were different types. Lots of vegetables, lots of jjigae! It felt like a good deal to have all that for ¥1,100 during dinner time. The interior of the restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. It was on the second floor but easy to enter. The first floor is Cafe du Riche. Next time, I think I'll try the vegetable-heavy barbecue. Thank you for the meal!

Daikubo Korean Food Street, the restaurant is spacious and bright. It has a lively atmosphere and is a very nice place. I tried various Samgyupsal dishes, but so far this place is the best. I recommend pork over beef. Also, the Japchae is incredibly delicious, and I forgot to take a photo. Highly recommended restaurant!

Yesterday we had my wife's favorite Kamjatang, so today we went to my favorite Usamgyeop. We arrived before 12 o'clock and luckily didn't have to wait in line to get in. Our son joined us, making it a party of three. Among the Korean restaurants in Shin-Okubo that mainly serve pork dishes, this place focuses on beef. We started with water kimchi, which was incredibly delicious and refreshing. Soon after, a large platter of vegetables and Usamgyeop arrived. Putting beef, garlic, scallions, and kimchi on the vegetables and eating it all in one bite was amazingly tasty. We finished it in no time and ended the meal with Yukgaejang. We also tried something new today, the Yesan Tokkalbi, which was a delicious twist on the usual flavors. It was a great dining experience, as always.

It's been a while since I visited Shin-Okubo ^_^. I was taken to a friend's favorite restaurant and it was great! They don't take reservations, so even though it was a weekday, we had to wait quite a bit because it was lunchtime. I was caught up in chatting with my friend after a long time, so I didn't take many photos (lol), but the generous amount of vegetables that come out at a real Korean BBQ restaurant got me excited first, and the various types of meat and pancakes we ordered were delicious ♡. We had beer, makgeolli, and drank quite a bit from the afternoon, but I was happy that it was only around 3000 yen per person ♡. The staff cooked the meat for us, and the restaurant was spacious and clean ^_^. I would love to go back to Shin-Okubo if I have the chance again!

Great cost performance! A must-visit restaurant for beef wraps! Located right near Don Quijote in Shin-Okubo, this restaurant is quite spacious. They specialize in Usamgyop, where thinly sliced beef is grilled and wrapped in various leafy vegetables. I have been there about 7-8 times and almost always order the Usamgyop. When you order Usamgyop, you get plenty of leafy vegetables, kimchi, green onions, garlic, miso, sauce, and more brought to your table. The beef is already seasoned and thinly sliced, so it cooks quickly. The staff will grill the meat for you, and once it's done, they remove the exhaust fan, turn off the heat, and it's ready to eat! You can choose your favorite leaves, add sauce and kimchi as you like, wrap the meat, and enjoy. Personally, I like to add plenty of miso before eating. The fact that it's beef, not pork, and the thin slices make it less fatty and easier to eat than Samgyupsal. The amount of leafy vegetables they bring at the beginning is substantial, so even vegetable lovers can get full. This time, I also ordered Samgyetang. The hot pot of Samgyetang was cooked until the meat was tender enough to easily come off the bone. The soup had a rich chicken flavor and a gentle taste. I finished it all. The Usamgyop and Samgyetang alone were enough to make us full. The amount is quite impressive. And the best part is the cost performance. Usamgyop is 1180 yen, and even if two people eat to their hearts' content, it's around 2000-3000 yen per person. In Shin-Okubo, where many restaurants have small portions and high prices, this place offers delicious Korean cuisine with great volume at a reasonable price. Thank you for the meal! 🌟

I visited the restaurant right after it opened. It seemed like I was the first customer after the New Year. I ordered miso stew. It was a special way of eating miso stew devised by Chef Pak. You pour a little bit of soup over the rice and vegetables in the bowl and eat it. The taste was not too spicy, but the miso flavor was strong. There were five side dishes, and they were all delicious.

The usual order is plenty of fresh vegetables and bone-in kalbi, but for the New Year's party with friends, we had bulgogi ♫ The staff at the restaurant cooked it for us in a special pot like a shabu-shabu pot. It was unique how they kept lifting the cooked beef in the center so it wouldn't get tough. There were lots of vegetables and white radish, and the sweet bulgogi sauce was so addictive. We also shared seafood pajeon and stone pot bibimbap while they were piping hot, creating a cozy Korean dining experience perfect for winter. (*´ω`σ)у Thank you for the delicious meal.
