I found this place on Instagram and visited right away! The interior of the restaurant is relatively small, with only two tables that can seat three or more people, so it seems ideal to go with about two people! We tried the famous Uni Shumai, Aji Fry, Corn and Eel Tempura, and finished with Korean-style Toro Taku! In conclusion, everything we ate was incredibly delicious! The Uni Shumai had a great texture and the herb aroma really stood out, making it delicious. The Aji Fry was crispy and came with a yogurt-based tartar sauce! The Corn and Eel Tempura was also crispy and had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors from the eel and corn. Lastly, we had gelato, and the cocoa nibs in it gave a rich and intense flavor! They recommended shochu for drinks, offering a variety of rare shochu and other options not listed on the menu, tailored to your preferences! I will definitely be coming back here again! I was drawn in by the visual of the sea urchin shumai and decided to visit. In addition to that, I ordered various appetizers, main dishes, a closing clay pot rice, and dessert, all of which were delicious. The drinks, including shochu and original cocktails, were also plentiful. I definitely want to come back again!

The food was all delicious. Considering the crowded atmosphere of the restaurant and the prices, I felt like there might be better options out there. It was very hot because the seat was right in front of a steamer, and there was a lot of smoke from the charcoal grill nearby, which left a strong smell on my clothes.

A small izakaya next to a shutter that looks like a remodeled garage. It was my second time visiting, and I got to try many different dishes this time. From fried potatoes with buttered shoyu sauce to marinated octopus and cheese, the appetizers that go well with alcohol were delicious. The chicken sashimi directly delivered from Miyazaki was also super tasty! Every part of the chicken was sweet and melted in my mouth. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fun and delicious.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while. They have classic Uni Shumai, dried fruit cream cheese, Galitomato, pickled mackerel, and spring rolls with fried bread for dipping. The fried bread was surprisingly high quality and different from what I had imagined. I couldn't try everything on the menu, so I will definitely go back again.

The exterior looks like an old office renovated, but inside the store, there were a counter and several tables in the back, with a moderate size. First, I ordered ・Draft beer 680 yen ・Chardonnay ginger sour 680 yen. The store seems to recommend shochu as their main alcohol, but there were also many other types available. There were unique options like "Marukan vinegar sour" and "pickled dishes," making it hard to choose just one. The "otōshi" was a small plate of somen noodles, with eggplant and myoga, which I really enjoyed. The meal menu had many options, so I ordered on a whim. That day, I had ・Uni-topped sasa pork shumai with leafy greens aroma 1,200 yen ・Seared mackerel with shungiku soy sauce 1,000 yen ・Homemade horse mackerel fry with tzatziki sauce 700 yen ・Deep-fried isobe-age style live seaweed zepolino 600 yen ・Charcoal-grilled new onion with shiokoji butter and karasumi 880 yen. There were also substantial dishes, and we were full with just the two of us. The "mackerel" appeared first. The combination of shungiku and soy sauce paste was unique and matched well with the mackerel. Next, the "horse mackerel fry" arrived. The tzatziki sauce, made from yogurt with chopped cucumbers, was refreshing and complemented the fry well. It was my first time trying it, and I was impressed by how well it paired with the mackerel fry. Amazing restaurant. The "uni shumai" is their specialty, and when you open the steaming basket, a hot dish with plenty of pork and uni on top appears. The mince of the meat, size, and aroma of the leafy greens were to my liking. A must-try dish. We added more drinks around this time, ・Highball 500 yen ・Coffee shochu with water 700 yen. I love coffee, and this "coffee shochu" had a delicious coffee and water taste, making it a hidden gem. If you love coffee, you should try this. Towards the end, the "zepolino" with nori flavor and plenty of cheese was irresistible. It had a generous portion as well. As we continued drinking, we also ordered ・Fresh lemon sour 650 yen. It goes well with the zepolino. For the finish, we had the "charcoal-grilled new onion." The butter on top of the grilled onion with karasumi was delightful. We enjoyed the sweet new onion, including the burnt skin. The karasumi was good, but I felt that enhancing the aroma a bit more would make it even better. The restaurant was lively, including standing drinking, and had a fun atmosphere where you could enjoy delicious food, typical of Kamiyama. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the shop in front of Jinzen Station on a Saturday night. There were only female staff and mainly female customers. Cream cheese, marinated mackerel, and everything else on the menu goes well with alcohol! The specialty, sea urchin shumai, was particularly delicious with its thick meat and juicy texture. The soba as the appetizer, the lotus root shumai, and the potato namul were all delicious. Despite making a reservation the day before, they were also able to accommodate my request for a birthday plate for my friend, which was a great surprise. The dessert on the plate was also amazing, with ice cream that tasted like burnt caramel, chocolate mousse with a hint of rum, and a collaboration with rum-soaked raisins scattered around. It was all top-notch!

This is a stylish izakaya right near the Kansen Station. Even though it was raining that day, there were still many walk-in customers, but I was glad I made a reservation as they were fully booked and had to turn people away a few times. We ordered mainly seafood dishes. We also had some warm dishes like xiaolongbao. The drink menu was extensive, with lots of original cocktails, creating a great atmosphere. The carpaccio (I completely forgot what fish it was) had thick slices of meat and was very satisfying to eat! This was the first time I've had carpaccio like this! There were also a couple of standing tables, making it a great place for a quick drink. The prices are reasonable, and the menu is quite extensive, which may be due to their high turnover rate. It seems like a good place for a date night!

The restaurant has a stylish French bar-like atmosphere, but its main focus is shochu, which is quite unique for an izakaya. Shochu is served in wine glasses (even when mixed with water or soda, it's quite strong). With a wide variety of shochu available, a stylish interior, and reasonable prices, it's rare to find a place like this. Personally, it's a definite repeat for me! The food, including the signature dish of sea urchin dumplings, bonito tataki, carpaccio, and scallop salad, was incredibly delicious! Each dish is just the right portion size, and with reasonable prices, it's perfect for small groups or as a second stop for drinks and food. Additionally, the Kamiizumi branch has standing tables available.
