I thought Hamazushi was relatively cheap compared to other sushi restaurants! I went to try their oyster fair, and I was amazed at how cheap the oysters were. The restaurant is very spacious and clean, and I liked being able to see the outside view. The menu has a wide variety of options and everything was delicious, especially the fried chicken which had a flavorful seasoning. The sweet potato brulee was also delicious. I want to go to Hamazushi again.

Among the 100 yen sushi restaurants, ZARA is the best. The more delicious items are priced higher, and there are fewer options, so if you eat until you are satisfied, it can cost up to 3,000 yen for one person. The menu is extensive, and the medium fatty tuna is as delicious as in high-end restaurants. I wonder if it's because they thaw it well. Also, the variety of soy sauce is nice. I go there once a week. I was embarrassed to write on Tabelog, but I created an account because I wanted to share it. Enjoy your meal, everyone!

It is located right near Akihabara Station. I didn't plan to go there, but I saw the sign and decided to check it out. ★Time of entry: around 8pm on a weekday. There were a lot of people waiting in line in front of the elevator. You receive a waiting ticket at the storefront and wait. I was able to enter after about 30 minutes. ★What I ordered this time: Sushi (shrimp, scallop, tuna, salmon, etc.) from 110 yen. Selected ingredient clam salt ramen 390 yen. Clam miso soup 200 yen. Orange juice 150 yen. The interior is incredibly automated, with ordering done on tablets. Once you place an order, the food comes out quickly, some in less than a minute. Only the orange juice was brought by a person (laughs). Since everything is ordered on tablets, the payment is automatically calculated when you press the payment button, and you can pay immediately by showing your seat number, which you received when entering, at the register. The operation that minimizes human intervention was fantastic. Also, the sushi was just delicious, but the ramen was surprisingly good (laughs). I was a bit surprised to see mostly ramen photos in the reviews, thinking, "Isn't this a sushi restaurant?" But it makes sense (laughs). The broth had a rich seafood flavor and was very delicious. The corn tempura was freshly fried, but it felt slightly overcooked. Almost there! Overall, I was satisfied. I got a coupon by installing the app and used a 100 yen discount on the miso soup this time! Thank you for the meal~

First, I looked at the line and thought, "Oh, this might not be so bad." But I kept getting passed by one after another, and ended up waiting for 45 minutes. And then, when I finally ordered the Hamakko set to get the Happy Danbu seal during the fair, a completely different character came out. I was seriously pissed off. If it's not part of the fair, they should let you know beforehand if it's sold out or over. Why did I bother lining up then?! It really made me mad. Unbelievable. And the sushi wasn't even delicious. If it was tasty, I might have eaten a little even without the seal. But it wasn't that good. Unbelievable!!

This is a revisit to Hamazushi in Akihabara. Last time I tried their miso ramen and it was pretty good, so this time we visited again at the request of my companion. I was aiming for drinks and ramen this time. While drinking, I checked the ramen menu on the tablet. Oh? Ohhh? The miso ramen that was quite good last time is not available. It has been replaced with a tonkotsu ramen... I didn't know that the ramen menu changes so frequently. It seems to be a monthly rotation? So, I decided to try the tonkotsu ramen. Tonkotsu Ramen - ¥429 It looks reasonably priced at ¥390, but the tax makes a difference in the total amount. It arrived after a short wait! The ramen comes out on a conveyor belt. It looks like a tonkotsu ramen. Since the miso ramen was good last time, I had some expectations as I took a sip of the soup... Oh no. This tonkotsu ramen is terrible. It has a fishy flavor, fish broth-based soup with a sweet soy sauce flavor. The pork bone taste is too weak. Why call it tonkotsu if it's actually fish-based? The oil also feels kind of light. The noodles are medium-thick and slightly thin. It gives off a vibe of tonkotsu ramen, but the noodles are too ordinary. It was so bad and unappetizing that I left it uneaten. Overall, this tonkotsu ramen was terrible. Rating: 1.2 stars. I've tried various types of tonkotsu ramen in the past, but this was the worst. It was worse than fake tonkotsu ramen. If the rotating sushi restaurant can use good fish for the broth, they should choose a ramen that highlights that. It must be tough for the development team to change the ramen menu frequently. In the end, whoever gave the green light to this tonkotsu ramen... well, it's fine. Thank you for the meal. 2023.01

I visited "Hamazushi @ Akihabara Store" located right near Akihabara Station. It is a revolving sushi chain restaurant. I had no intention of writing a review, but my companion requested to try the ramen at Hamazushi. So, I decided to write about that experience. Looking at the tablet menu, I noticed they have a variety of noodle dishes. I opted for the recommended Miso Corn Butter Ramen for ¥480 (¥528 including tax). The ramen arrived quickly, and I was surprised by its small size. The miso soup had a balanced sweetness and was quite tasty. The noodles were yellow, medium-thick, and had a good texture. Adding butter enhanced the flavor. Overall, the ramen was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I also tried the Uni sushi, which had a significant difference between the photo and reality. It was a disappointing experience. Thank you for the meal. ★3.0.

Akihabara has finally come to Hamachan. The closest Hamachan was "Hamazushi Komagome Shirayama Store." The distance was not too far, and it was fun. I was surprised. I heard about the opening of "Hamazushi Akihabara Station Front" in March last year. How long did they make us wait? It's been 7 months since October 15, 2021. I have a good impression of the rotating sushi at Hamazushi. Hamazushi is the only reliable store among the three major rotating sushi chains. I feel like I can expect a lot from it. I tried the Akihabara store a few times, but I didn't have any good encounters. It's a bit of a hassle to go there, and I don't feel like going. But Hamazushi is so close that my expectations are high. Excessive expectations here may ruin the chance of a good encounter. I try to calm down the excitement and expectation that is growing. Recently, it's too crowded on holidays. I have already visited "Hamazushi Akihabara Station Front Store" more than 10 times. Even when it's crowded, it's reassuring. The seats are spacious and comfortable. It makes me feel excited. Sushi time with relaxation and fun is great. I had yuzu salt-seared mackerel, seared thick-cut eel, Mount Fuji assortment, makanai gunkan, Mediterranean bluefin tuna, whelk, various types of horse mackerel, sardine, and grilled chicken. I can't remember everything I tried. It was my first time having such an enjoyable sushi time. Chewing, munching, slurping, and sipping (green tea) – I can't get enough of it. But the carnivorous appetite that can't survive on seafood alone revives with fried foods, grilled chicken, and warm udon. I can't get enough of it. However, the light eater quickly gets full unexpectedly. The "Oihagi" white nigiri set of 10 pieces fills them up. The light eater also seems satisfied. That's understandable. They eat only the items on top, such as fried foods and grilled items, and finish with a parfait. The Country Ma'am parfait is almost exactly as shown. It's made with vanilla and chocolate Country Ma'am cookies, whipped cream, and Country Ma'am ice cream, which is delicious. There's also whipped cream underneath, so it's a bit too rich. The chocolate sponge cake underneath refreshes the palate. At the very bottom, there should be panna cotta, but it's too little, which is disappointing. Moreover, the texture is enhanced with finely chopped nuts and extremely small caramel-flavored chocolate chips that are a bit too much. The panna cotta's presence is completely overshadowed. They've considered adding various elements to make it enjoyable. The fresh saury is delicious. It's quite large considering the high price. The seared saury has a fragrant aroma and melts the fat of the saury, making it delicious. The mackerel is large and has a great taste without any fishy smell. It's a type of fish I don't usually order, but I successfully tried it today. The firefly squid was delicious despite the slightly too intense seasoning. The marinated tuna had a change in texture on the surface, and the stickiness inside increased, making it delicious. Well, it's enjoyable to sit back and enjoy your favorite things in your own way. Most of the people around were young. I felt the popularity of the place. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will come back again.

I came because it's very close to the station. It was my first time here. It was around 17:40 on a weekday. The restaurant was about 70-80% full when I arrived, but when I left around 18:30, it was very crowded with people lining up, so I was glad I came early. Maybe it's because summer vacation is ending, so there's a rush of customers. The sushi was difficult to pick up with chopsticks and most of the plates fell apart, which was uncomfortable. The sushi pieces were also on the smaller side. I tried the mackerel for 170 yen (excluding tax). It was okay. The natto roll I had for 110 yen at the end seemed like the best deal.

Located on the 3rd floor of a building right near Akihabara Station. I made a web reservation in advance, so I was able to enter without much of a wait. There were no conveyor belts for sushi, everything was ordered through a touch panel. You can't order multiple items at once, but when you order one item, it is quickly served, which was nice. The deep-fried smelt tempura was large, crispy, and delicious. The shrimp tempura and squid tempura sushi were also tasty! The menu was extensive and fun to look through. By the time I left, there was a line outside the restaurant.

It is located in a building in front of Akihabara Station. I saw it from the train and was curious. I had wanted to go there for a while, so I made a reservation through the app. Unfortunately, it is a bit pricey because it's in the city center, and they didn't have a 90 yen sale. I ordered miso soup, enoki mushrooms, salmon, sea urchin, nodoguro, tuna, and bonito. The salmon, enoki mushrooms, and sea urchin were delicious. They had a variety of soy sauces. The tea was okay. You can earn Rakuten points, D points, or Ponta points. Payment methods include Suica, electronic money, PayPay, barcode payment, and credit cards.

The sushi here is generally small but delicious. It's fresh and tasty, but the prices seem a bit high when looking at the menu. I made a reservation through the mobile app, so I was able to get in smoothly. It seems like it's easier to get a table on weekdays. The seating is a bit tight with little space between me and the person next to me, so it would be nice if they had a bit more room for single diners. The fish is incredibly fresh!

Today is Asakusabashi Day after a long time. I got off the train at Akihabara and decided to take a walk. Since I'm in Akihabara, I thought I'd try a conveyor belt sushi restaurant I've never been to before, "Hamazushi." I've been to Sushiro and Kura Sushi a few times, but I haven't been to Kappa Sushi because it's out of my usual area, so this was my first visit to Hamazushi. This conveyor belt sushi restaurant doesn't actually have sushi rotating on a conveyor belt. Instead, the items you order through a tablet are delivered to your table on a high-speed lane, following the recent trend. There was a wide variety of soy sauce options, and tea and wasabi were conveniently stored inside the table. Initially, I sat at the counter seat, but there was no place to put my belongings, so I asked to switch to a table seat. Sorry for having so much work stuff with me... I started by ordering 5 plates. In other conveyor belt sushi restaurants, you can order multiple plates at once, but at Hamazushi, you can only order one item at a time, which is quite inefficient... Order one item, then choose the next plate... and as I was doing this, the first plate I ordered arrived... it was quite hectic. (´Д`)・Maguro (Tuna) Belly - A large cut of tuna belly that fell apart as soon as I tried to pick it up with my chopsticks. I managed to gather it up with my chopsticks, but it was difficult to eat. The taste was okay.・Seared Maguro Belly with Yuzu Salt - I wanted to try the seared version, so I chose the one with yuzu salt. It was seared rare, and the scent of yuzu was nice.・Shirasu (Whitebait) from Seto Inland Sea (Raw vs. Boiled) - This was not as good as I had hoped. I wanted more presence of shirasu.・Minami Maguro (Southern Bluefin Tuna) Medium Fatty Tuna with Grated Wasabi - I wish there was a bit more fat in the medium fatty tuna. Each plate is a luxurious sushi experience.・Minami Maguro Medium Fatty Tuna Rare Steak - This was also medium fatty tuna, but the searing gave it a different texture. I preferred this one. Another 5 plates were added.・Live Amberjack (from Shikoku and Kyushu) - It was quite thickly cut and delicious.・Scallop with Grated Wasabi - The scallop was surprisingly small! Not bad, but none of the sushi had a cohesive feel between the topping and the rice. It felt like the topping was just placed on top of the square rice. Occasionally, there was wasabi clinging to the plate, and I groaned. There was also a Tobiko egg that had fallen on the table...・Seared Scallop with Yuzu Salt - This was delicious. Seared might be the way to go.・Live Red Shrimp with Grated Wasabi - The shrimp was accompanied by grated wasabi, enhancing the flavor. Each plate is truly a one-piece sushi experience.・Seared Live Red Shrimp with Salt and Lemon - This seared version was also delicious. For the third round, I ordered these 5 plates.・Fresh Sardine - It had been a while since I had sardine, and it was delicious.・Salmon and Avocado - The ripeness of the avocado was good, and the overall volume was great. It was delicious.・Simmered Conger Eel - Soft and tender, the eel melted in the mouth. This was also delicious.・Spicy Tuna Tartare - Tuna tartare with a kimchi-like flavor. I quite liked this dish as a palate cleanser. For the final round, I ordered these 4 plates.・Seared Fatty Salmon with Mayonnaise - Salmon and mayonnaise go well together. It was worth the price.・Live Mackerel - This was a bit... not great. There was a tough part in the flesh, making it difficult to chew.・Large Cut Bluefin Tuna from the Mediterranean - Big fatty tuna was a bit too fatty in taste. Also, the way the topping was cut seemed a bit off???・Seared Large Cut Bluefin Tuna from the Mediterranean - The seared version had a sweeter taste of tuna.

Near Akihabara Station, in a building that opened last year, there is a restaurant that gives off a roadside vibe. I hadn't had the chance to visit before, but I heard good things about it, so I decided to make a reservation through an app and finally give it a try. When I arrived at the restaurant at the reserved time, I confirmed my reservation on a touch panel and was guided to my designated counter seat. The interior was mostly filled with young female customers, with a mix of counter and table seating. I started by ordering a beer and then tried the seasonal dishes like sashimi of cold yellowtail and mackerel. The cold mackerel was served with ginger and green onions, and I enjoyed it with various soy sauces available on the table. Next, I tried the sashimi of cold yellowtail, which was quite good. The seared cold Spanish mackerel was a bit dry, but still decent. I also tried the tuna, opting for both fatty tuna and lean tuna. The fatty tuna melted in my mouth, while the lean tuna was average. I ended the meal with red snapper and sardines, followed by a clam miso soup that helped redeem the slightly disappointing dishes. Overall, the experience had its ups and downs, but the mystery of what happened next remains a secret.

I had a light drink before enjoying a late lunch here. It was a relatively new Hamazushi restaurant. The interior was very clean. ~What I ordered~ ■ Kirishima Prefecture's live Hiramasa ■ Draft beer ■ Kirishima Prefecture's Yuzu salt-seared Hiramasa ■ Live Buri (Shikoku/Kyushu) ■ Flat shellfish seared in soy sauce ■ Charcoal-grilled chicken assortment (salt) ■ Seiun Kanekatsu ■ Sashimi of live Buri (Shikoku/Kyushu) ■ Hama Ice (Chocolate) I enjoyed my favorites such as Hiramasa and Buri. Sake goes well with grilled chicken! I repeated the fruity and delicious Kanekatsu sake that I tried the other day. It pairs well with sushi too.

Lunch on this day was at a restaurant located at JR Akihabara Station Electric Town Exit. This restaurant is located in a building next to the building where Sushiro will be opening in October 2021, both buildings are part of the "BiTO" brand owned by Daibiru. Recently, many conveyor belt sushi chains are eager to open stores in the city center, and it is becoming less rare to see conveyor belt sushi restaurants in buildings in downtown areas. The interior of the restaurant is still very new and everything is clean and shiny, from the lanes to the floor. Upon entering, a seat number sheet is printed from a dedicated touch panel at the entrance, so you can sit at the corresponding seat number. After eating, press the payment button on the touch panel on the table, then take the sheet issued at the entrance to the cash register for payment. There is no need for staff to come to the table to count the number of plates. Efficient, functional, and economical. Amazing. On this day, I had: - Spicy Negi Tuna Tataki - Spicy Negi Beef Kalbi - Spicy Negi Fresh Squid - Three Kinds of Shrimp - Seared Throat - Seared Madai - Boiled White Shrimp Wrapped in Rice - Three Kinds of Tuna - Aosa Soup All of this for 1,551 yen! It's hard to say if they are all really fresh since some have additional seasoning, but they are all delicious. Especially the Spicy Negi dishes with chili oil were excellent. It's a shame you can't have beer for lunch, but there are plenty of menu items that would go well with alcohol, making it a good place for a casual drink. The only downside is that the counter seats are very narrow. The staff are all female and very friendly and polite. Overall, it's a nice restaurant where you definitely won't feel uncomfortable.

I went for a walk in Akihabara. I got lost in front of the station (laughs) because the trains are crossing each other, the streets are also crossing and it's confusing, I wonder if it's always been like this? I found the sign for "Hamazushi" in a building in front of the station and decided to go in for the first time. About 90% of the customers were young women. The prices seemed reasonable. I recommend not ordering half portions of the sushi rice, it's about the size of a thumbnail (laughs). I completely forgot to take photos. Unfortunately, the limited edition black abalone starting from November 25th was already sold out. It's a good place for a late lunch on weekdays since you can walk in directly. It was delicious!

I had never visited Hamazushi before because it was not available in my neighborhood. It opened in Akihabara on October 15, 2021, so I was curious and decided to check it out. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of a building next to Sushiro in Akihabara. When I arrived, there were a lot of people waiting, but I had made a reservation in advance through the website, so I only had to wait for about 10 minutes before it was my turn. The entrance and seating were all done without any staff intervention, using modern self-service terminals. Inside the restaurant, there was no sushi going around on a conveyor belt - all orders were placed using a touch panel. I was happy to see that you could order half portions of sushi rice, which is a great service for those concerned about carbohydrates. As for the most important part, the sushi toppings were quite delicious considering the price. Each topping had a good size and thickness, allowing me to fully enjoy the flavors. The only disappointment was the small size of the raw mackerel. On the other hand, the other toppings I tried such as fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, buri (yellowtail), marinated tuna, sardine, whelk, salmon, squid, etc., were all delicious without any complaints. I also liked that there were about 5 different types of soy sauce for you to compare and enjoy. Additionally, the quality of the fried foods was surprisingly good. The fried horse mackerel, fried oyster, shrimp tempura - all were crispy and freshly fried. The generous portions of chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and miso soup with clams at the end left me feeling satisfied. Another surprising factor was the speed of service - many items were served in less than a minute after ordering. As someone who is impatient, this was very pleasant. It's probably my favorite among the conveyor belt sushi chains.

I went to Hamazushi for the first time. I had only been to Kurasushi before, as I am from Kansai and there was only Kurasushi nearby. Even after coming to Tokyo, I mostly went to Kurasushi. Hamazushi apparently has more stores than Kurasushi. The ranking is Sushiro, Hamazushi, Kurasushi, and Kappasushi. I knew Sushiro was number one, but I was surprised that Hamazushi was number two. This restaurant finally opened in October due to the pandemic. It was really clean and modern. You input the number of people on a touch panel at the entrance, and a paper with a seat number is given to you. It's a contactless system. I sat at the end of the counter, and sushi wasn't rotating. Each seat is separated by partitions, and you order using a touch panel menu on the top right. The conveyor belt is only there to deliver orders. It's no longer traditional rotating sushi, but it seems to be the trend. The staff wait along the aisles. It's a sight to see. Ordering "Ebiten" which is tempura at a sushi restaurant. The presentation is interesting, tempura on top of vinegar rice. It's quite difficult to eat. The tempura is crispy and not greasy. I wonder if it's meant to be eaten with soy sauce. I also ordered "Tempura Soba" with the same ebiten. The soy sauce broth with the oil from the tempura is a good combination. The soba texture was a bit soft, but still tasty. At the end, you bring the paper with your seat number to the cashier. Since you order on the touch panel, there's no need to count items for payment. It's a self-checkout system, so you only interact with the staff at the cashier. It's convenient and nice to enjoy sushi alone without much interaction.

We made a reservation at Sushiro or Kura Sushi on our way back. It's not scary to make a reservation even on Sundays. In that sense, it was interesting to see the people around and feel the atmosphere of Akihabara. The low ceiling was nice. The fried horse mackerel was delicious.
