My wife and I finished a tour of famous art cinemas and met on the platform. We considered the city center but decided on Chofu, a less crowded area after hearing about the post-lockdown crowd situation. We ordered two glasses of Sapporo Black Label draft beer for ¥300 each, a carafe of Treviano Doppio for ¥1380, a carafe of Montepulciano Doppio for ¥1380, Broccoli with garlic flavor for ¥350, Hokkaido roast beef carpaccio Venetian style for ¥1280, Hokkaido clam vongole bianco for ¥1350, Ultimate Peperoncino with bacon and Hokkaido enzyme egg for ¥980, and Devilish-style sautéed young chicken with colorful potatoes from Hokkaido for ¥1380. We arrived at the restaurant around 1 pm on a weekday. We were a bit worried about the idol on the street, but the restaurant inside the shopping center, which was open all day, made us feel safe. We were guided to the 5th floor of Triad Chofo by a beautiful lady. The interior of the restaurant was much larger and better than we had imagined. We were seated at a table near the center broadcast, but there were also counter seats with acrylic dividers for two people facing the broadcast. The restaurant seemed popular, with a decent number of customers coming in and no shortage of customers leaving. We started with a toast with Sapporo beer because of the Hokkaido connection. For appetizers, we chose Broccoli with garlic and roast beef. The broccoli, which arrived first, was served cold instead of hot, but it was surprisingly delicious. We immediately ordered white wine (laughs). The roast beef was finished lightly as carpaccio, and it was also quite good. We ordered the Parmigiano topping separately, which was enough to make us drink too much wine (laughs). We were told it would take a while, so we added a red wine to the order with the devilish-style sautéed young chicken. The hall was quite crowded, but the beautiful ladies serving were all smiling and made us feel very happy. As expected, the rosemary-scented chicken arrived after a bit of a wait, with a crispy surface and juicy inside. We finished with pasta. My wife had the Hokkaido clam vongole bianco, and I had the Ultimate Peperoncino with Hokkaido bacon and enzyme egg. Both were delicious, and we were very satisfied with our lunch feast. A surprisingly satisfying Italian lunch. We saw many solo diners, so it might be a good change from a certain chain restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
