However, the rain was still coming down, and the start time was delayed by 30 minutes. While waiting, the beer vendors would occasionally come out and walk around the stands with a smile, selling beer from the bottom row. It must be tough to sell beer without an umbrella in the rain. Since we didn't know what would happen next, I decided to buy a beer and wait. It cost 800 yen for a cup with "MEIJI JINGU STADIUM" written on it. Enjoying a cold beer while watching the stadium was nice! But soon after, there was an unexpected announcement that the game was canceled. Feeling stunned, I watched as the players came out and performed headfirst slides on the bases covered with blue sheets. After enjoying the atmosphere of the stadium for a while, I left the stadium.

I have been to Jingu Stadium several times this season. It was too hot to drink beer, so I had a Dekopon sour made with Murakami's player. I was surprised because I was expecting something more citrusy and sweeter. After that, I just kept drinking Gin Lemon. But I was satisfied because I got to see Murakami's home run.

I bought a beer from a vendor, which cost 800 yen for a small cup with the stadium's name on it. The design was nice, but the cup was quite small. It made me realize that while Elysian Field may be known for being expensive, the beer there was cheaper and came in a larger cup. The game turned into a high-scoring affair, and by the time I decided to leave, it was late and the rain was still pouring. I had to give up and head home as there were no more trains running.

I was able to see Murakami's home run today. Happy day. ⚾️
