This time, I visited their 1st location in the middle of Kabukicho. They have a total of 5 branches in Shinjuku, so check their official website for more details! Even after 9 pm, customers kept coming in, showing how popular the place is. The appetizer was beef tongue stew. Wait, an appetizer...? And it came with a baguette. Isn't this more like a snack for alcohol...? Don't underestimate the beef tongue stew from a yakiniku restaurant. "Black Wagyu Yukke" is the signature dish here. It might not be available at 1st, but I heard they serve it for lunch at other branches like 5go. The sweet sauce, the luscious egg yolk, and the finely sliced raw beef create a perfect harmony in your mouth. "Black Wagyu Carpaccio" is a refreshing raw meat dish with green onions and lemon as the perfect accents. It's a delightful appetizer that tingles your senses with joy. "Thick Cut Tongue" is a luxurious cut of tongue. Try it without any sauce or lemon first. "Uni Wrapped in Meat" - raw sea urchin, raw meat, raw egg!!! Although the egg is missing, the combination is brilliant. It's a dish that makes you think the person who came up with it is a genius, as you savor the shiso leaf. Overall, it's like high-end sushi without the rice. "Special Harami" and "Filet" - even the classic cuts are delicious. The color and sweetness of the overflowing meat juices tell the story of their freshness. "Rice" - it came with an egg for some reason! A rice for yakiniku...? (I vaguely remember) It's a bit smaller than a regular serving, making it a good option when you want a little more to fill your stomach. With this and a soup or some other small dish, the total bill was a little over 6,000 yen! If you enjoy drinking a lot, I think the 2-hour all-you-can-drink course is a good choice.
