Hmm, I didn't really like the lunch set. It's not that it wasn't delicious. It's just that because there are many different cuts, each piece is small, so it's hard to feel the juiciness or texture. Also, I'm not a fan of the combination with bean sprouts. I prefer the meat to be grilled on its own, but that's just my preference. I think it's just a matter of compatibility, as the staff were very friendly. If I have the chance, I would like to try the evening barbecue as well.

I visited this restaurant during lunch time. The special set meal allows you to try various parts of chicken. The liver didn't have as strong of a taste as beef liver, but I still didn't like it. The heart was easier to eat than I expected, and the other parts were juicy and easy to eat. I wonder if the fruit next to the watermelon is a melon??

I finally visited a shop that I had been curious about for a long time! I originally planned to just have a light meal and leave, but I ended up wanting to try everything that had been recommended as delicious. I ended up eating too much. It was great that I could try various parts of chicken at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, I didn't like the chicken ramen!

I have started a gourmet website for Mitomi Emon. Homepage "https://blog.33inc.jp/" Instagram "@mitomi_emon". When it comes to yakiniku, most people imagine beef. But have you heard of the recent trend of chicken yakiniku, where chicken meat is grilled without being skewered? With the recent focus on diet and health, healthy chicken yakiniku has been gaining attention. While regions like southern Kyushu and Matsusaka in Mie Prefecture have a tradition of chicken yakiniku culture, it is finally being recognized as a genre in Tokyo. Let me introduce you to one of these chicken yakiniku restaurants, aptly named "Chicken Yakiniku Tokyo Main Store". Located in Omorikita, nearest to Heiwajima Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line. Established in 2012, it is a veteran in the Tokyo chicken yakiniku scene. One surprising aspect is the cost performance. You can enjoy an assortment of 8 dishes for just 1420 yen with the "medium plate assortment". It's almost like a lunch price. While chicken may give a more subtle impression compared to beef or pork, the trade-off with its healthy aspect is undeniable. The variety of cuts to enjoy is also appealing, and grilling it yourself is now considered entertainment. The menu is also rich with options for additional meat, side dishes, and closing dishes. And of course, everything is affordable. "Specialty grilled chicken skin meatballs", "Chicken Tataki sashimi", "Specialty Chicken Nanban", "Rice with raw egg", "Authentic Chicken Ramen".

I often pass by Heiwajima, but I had never been there before. So, I made a reservation and went on Saturday at 6 pm. There were already about 4 groups in the restaurant, and a few more came in, but they were all turned away as the reservations were full. I'm glad I made a reservation. The atmosphere was a bit off, with not many people around. The taste was good, but as someone who prefers regular sauce, I didn't really like the ponzu, salt, and tartar sauce. The good dishes were the chicken tataki, Tokyo Yukke, and chicken ramen, which were quite filling for about 6000 yen for two people. Thank you for the meal.

Just a 1-minute walk from Heiwajima Station, our restaurant is located along the Circular Route 7. We offer various parts of "chicken" as our specialty. At lunch, you can enjoy approximately 8 different parts with "grilled salt," "ponzu sauce," and our homemade tartar sauce. Our daily special set meal is still only 500 yen, making it an incredibly cost-effective option! It's so charming that you'll want to visit every week if you're nearby.======MENU=======Special Chicken Yakiniku Set Meal———————o0o———————-・Address: 1F Sanminion Building, 6-26-17 Omorikita, Ota-ku, Tokyo・Reservation: Available 03-3763-2187・Business Hours: 11:30-14:00 17:00-22:00(L.O)・Payment Methods: PayPay, Cash・Average Cost: 1,000 yen⭐️Tabelog Rating: 3.52———————o0o———————-Instagram ID: tam_gourmet_

Chicken Yakiniku Tokyo Main Branch KUMA Survey (Daily Use) (80☆Excellent: / 60◎Good / 50◯Pass / 40△Average) (Taste: 60%: Store Management 20%: Cost Performance 20%) ■ Overall Rating 67/100 points (Taste: 75 points) A wonderful chicken restaurant representing Heiwajima with outstanding freshness of ingredients ■ Overview The shop is located about a 3-minute walk from Oimachi Station. The typical izakaya-style shop is clean inside and out, which is very appealing. It's a bit of a shame that smoking is allowed in the restaurant. The menu includes a variety of dishes centered around chicken, such as grilled dishes, hot pot dishes, side dishes, and finishing dishes like rice bowls, fried rice, and various types of ramen. The customers are mainly business people and couples, and the place was bustling even at 18:00. As a solo diner like myself, you can enjoy sitting at the counter, making it a very user-friendly restaurant. Thank you for the meal. ■ Ordered Dishes/Prices/Taste/Cost Performance ◯8-piece plate ¥1420 ◯Chicken skin in hot water ¥390 ◯Seseri (chicken neck) ¥530 ◯Sasami (chicken tenderloin) ¥290 ◯Bottled beer (large) ¥720 ◯Fried rice ¥470 Total order ¥3820 Total bill ¥3820 ------------ Always critical detailed evaluation ----------- ■ Usage Scenes 4 people ◯, 2 people ◯, solo diner ◯, banquet ◎, business meeting ◎, date ◯ ■ Atmosphere/Service of the Restaurant 40/100 points 8 points (4 points pass mark, 5 points average mark) Basic points 4 points ◇ Store 6/10 points: Near the station, neat ◇ Service 2/10 points: Smoking allowed ◇ Comfort 4/10 points: ■ Detailed Evaluation of Dishes 75/100 points 45 points Overall Taste: A wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy teppanyaki and side dishes made with fresh chicken. □ Side Dishes ・Chicken skin in hot water: Cut into long strips, easy to eat, and has a great texture. It's very refreshing when mixed with ponzu sauce. ・Fried rice (traditional style): A simple and nostalgic taste that seems like something you could make at home. The rice is mixed with egg and green onions, seasoned with soy sauce, and is just right as a finish to a yakiniku meal. □ Grilled Dishes Served with salt, ponzu sauce, and tartar sauce. It's light and you can enjoy the umami of the meat. ・8-piece plate: A plate with 8 types of meat, each with 2 slices. Liver, heart, gizzard, tenderloin, thigh, chicken liver, tripe, all are fresh, without any odor, and you can enjoy the texture of the meat. ・Seseri (chicken neck): You can enjoy the unique texture of the neck, which is crunchy and springy. ・Sasami (chicken tenderloin): Fresh and slightly raw in the middle, it's just right when eaten. ■ Cost Performance Evaluation 70/100 points 14 points There is no table charge, so it's very clear accounting for a night-time restaurant, which is pleasant. A large bottle of beer is ¥720, which is almost the same as the average ¥629 for a medium bottle. When it comes to the meat, it's a bit tricky to evaluate, but considering that Seseri (about 120g) is ¥500 and Sasami (about 100g) is ¥290, it feels like a reasonable price. (In terms of yakitori, it's about 2-3 pieces in volume) Well, since you grill it yourself, it's kind of up to personal preference...

I didn't know there was a restaurant on Heiwajima where you can enjoy Oyama chicken. I visited at night. You can grill the Oyama chicken just like yakiniku. The menu also includes chicken sashimi, chicken nanban, chicken soboro omelette, and more. It's recommended for both hearty meals and light bites.

I planned to go to an all-you-can-eat place, but the timing didn't work out, so I found a delicious-looking restaurant in Heiwajima, which I don't visit often. It was a place where you grill chicken on a roaster yourself, similar to yakiniku style. The tsukune (chicken meatballs) and tebasaki (chicken wings) were delicious, and the assorted yakitori was also tasty, but the cost performance was not as good as I had hoped.

This restaurant was even more delicious than I imagined, so I ended up going back on the same night, haha. We were able to easily get a table for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Even with just two people, they seated us at a quite spacious table. There are three lunch options available, and they are quite affordable. I ordered the chicken yakiniku set, but it seems like the regular customers often go for the fried chicken. I'm curious about that as well. The Special Chicken Yakiniku Set costs 1000 yen (tax included). Despite being called chicken yakiniku, the grilled chicken arrives on a hot plate. You can enjoy around 10 different cuts of chicken meat. They can be dipped in salt, grated ponzu sauce, or tartar sauce. Everything was delicious, especially the kumquat, heart, liver, gizzard, and breast. The excitement of trying new cuts of meat and the juiciness were just amazing. The set also comes with tofu, potato salad, and salad, so you get a well-balanced meal. The way they cook rice is excellent, resulting in fluffy and sweet rice. I could eat the rice alone endlessly. I didn't feel heavy or bloated after eating, which was quite surprising. But with a good amount of protein, it was filling. I got too curious about the a la carte menu, so I decided to visit for dinner as well. I will write about that in a separate post.

I would answer this restaurant if asked about a place I wish was closer to my home. I had the grilled chicken lunch set and was so impressed by the taste that I made a reservation for dinner on the same day. It's hard to go to Heiwajima often, so I wish this place was closer to my house. Even though it's a yakiniku restaurant, I felt like eating it twice in one day because it's light, healthy, cheap, and delicious. The chicken platter with 8 different cuts of meat was very satisfying. They even provided a guide on how to grill the meat on the table, calling the center of the iron plate the "Rainbow Bridge." It was very nice of them to offer us a complimentary dish. The liver and heart were especially delicious. The sweet potatoes on the side were a nice touch. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor that it didn't feel like chicken at all. The homemade tartar sauce was a unique and perfect match. The chicken tataki was absolutely delicious. The flavorful chicken tataki dipped in sesame sauce was irresistible. I want to eat it again. The sesame sauce also tasted great with other meats. The celery cheese dish was refreshing and crunchy, perfect for pairing with alcohol. The assorted mushroom dish was a generous portion for its price. The combination of chicken and mushrooms is very healthy. The Hakata shirotan ramen was very simple but had a mysteriously addictive taste that made me want to eat more. It would be perfect to have after a workout.

I felt like eating something warm, so I dropped by this place. I said "I'm alone" and was seated at the counter. When I ordered grilled food, they asked me if it was okay for them to grill it for me, but I preferred to grill it myself while taking my time. They set up a grill on the counter for me. It's a very cozy restaurant. They are friendly if you engage in conversation, but also leave you alone if you prefer. The staff chatting with each other, which might be annoying in other places, actually adds to the warm and relaxing atmosphere here. I thought the chicken yakiniku would be flavored with Mie Prefecture's miso sauce, but they served plain meat and offered three types of dipping sauces - salt, grated ponzu, and tartar - for me to enjoy. I had thigh meat and neck meat, and they were simply delicious. So, I could enjoy trying different combinations of salt and ponzu sauces. It seemed like some enthusiastic gamblers came in, but everyone was enjoying their meal peacefully and happily. Thank you for the meal!

Five years ago, I saw this restaurant on a TV show called "Moraizake Minato Tabi" and I always wanted to visit someday. As the name suggests, it's a chicken yakiniku restaurant, not yakitori. Normally yakiniku places serve beef, but this one specializes in chicken. So it's chicken yakiniku. When I ordered the meat, they asked if I wanted them to grill it for me or if I wanted to do it myself. I decided to grill it myself since it was a special experience. I've had chicken at yakiniku restaurants before, but never like this. There were different types of chicken, so I wasn't sure how to grill them perfectly. I ended up grilling them all thoroughly. Maybe I grilled them too much because they turned out a bit tough and dry. It wasn't the fault of the meat served, but rather my grilling skills. I ate the chicken with ponzu sauce, grated daikon radish, and tartar sauce. There was also salt on the table, so I tried eating it with salt too. Chicken yakiniku is really good. I wanted to try other chicken dishes from the menu as well. I'll definitely go back. The staff were very kind. Thank you very much. I paid 7,250 yen in cash. Payment can be made in cash or through PayPay, as they mentioned.

I visited the restaurant with my husband, daughter, and Mr. T, whom I respect. We ordered the chicken yakiniku set lunch and fried chicken a la carte. The chicken yakiniku set comes in a skillet with chicken breast, thigh, offal, and gizzard, among other things. It is not seasoned, so you need to add tartar sauce, ponzu, or table salt. It's nice to be able to enjoy various parts of the chicken, but it seems a bit overcooked. The chicken needs to be cooked thoroughly, but the breast meat is dry and the other meats are tough. The liver has a slight smell and a somewhat mushy texture. Also, the salty seasoning is not to my liking, but having no seasoning at all makes it hard to taste the umami. The side dishes include grilled celery and something like a dumpling. The celery is salty but has an interesting flavor. The dumpling has a homemade skin that is chewy and delicious. The soup is average, but the rice is not great - lacking gloss, firm, and somewhat mushy. I wish the set came with fluffy, glossy rice. The fried chicken we ordered a la carte is huge! The coating is crispy, and the meat is juicy and tender, indicating good frying technique. However, the oil quality seems lacking as there is a strange smell. We finished with iced coffee, which had a strange taste. The service was not particularly polite, but they kindly provided rice and chocolate for the children, and made sure to refill our tea. The cost was 1000 yen per person this time, but they offer a 500 yen daily lunch special, which is a good deal. However, considering the taste, content, and the fact that smoking is allowed during the day despite being a mainly izakaya, I will not be returning. Thank you for the meal.

I had a meeting near Heiwajima Station. After the meeting, I decided to have lunch somewhere near the station. I was drawn to a restaurant with a lunch menu outside. It was a chicken yakiniku restaurant. In addition to chicken, they also had a variety of appetizers on the menu. The restaurant had counter seats, table seats, and even private rooms in the back, making it suitable for parties. I ordered the "karaage" lunch set. The karaage was freshly fried after I placed my order, which was nice. The lunch set came with salad, octopus, miso soup, pickles, and was quite filling. The main karaage was juicy and delicious. Since I don't have many opportunities to eat chicken yakiniku, I would like to come back during the evening sometime.

The chicken yakiniku restaurant I was curious about had an interesting yakiniku menu with a wide variety of options like an izakaya. The prices were reasonable, and it seemed like it might be a popular spot for izakaya-style dining. We ordered the medium plate set for two people (1420 yen), which included 8 different types of chicken meat like thigh, liver, heart, gizzard, skin, tail, and neck. The quantity seemed a bit lacking, with only 2 pieces of each for two people. In terms of taste, it was average, but the thigh and neck were particularly delicious with a unique umami flavor. We also ordered additional items like chicken meatball wrapped in pork (510 yen), extra thigh meat (540 yen), and chicken tataki rice bowl (650 yen). The meatball was juicy and flavorful, while the tataki had a pinkish color with a crunchy texture. The bill came out to be just under 4000 yen, and overall, it was a decent dining experience that might be worth revisiting.

Hello... I apologize for the lack of photos of me eating. Lately, I've been hooked on adding "asobase" to the end of my sentences. Anyway, setting that aside. Today, I visited this restaurant... In conclusion, it's a place I definitely want to come back to. The service from the manager was just amazing. The chicken you cook yourself is also delicious. The grilling of the kinkan was a bit tricky though!

Lunch on this day was near Heiwajima Station. I first went to the Chinese restaurant "Nisshinte" in front of Lawson, but as soon as I tried to sit at the last available table, the customer next to me started smoking. I immediately left the restaurant and ended up here at "Chicken Yakiniku Tokyo". There are 5 counter seats, 3 tables with about 6 seats behind the counter, and a tatami room with 4 tables. I sat at a table in the back of the counter. They brought out linen towels and cold barley tea. I ordered the "Karaage Set Meal (900 yen)" from the lunch menu. It was served in about 5 minutes. In addition to the main karaage, it came with a salad, cold tofu side dish, and more. The karaage was hot and crispy, with juicy meat and a delicious soy sauce and ginger flavor. I wished the miso soup had a bit more volume. This time I used it for lunch, but I think the real charm of this restaurant is the chicken yakiniku at night. I would like to come back at night next time. (Visit rating: 3.57)

Grilled chicken meat. Not "yakitori". It's strictly "chicken" and "grilled meat". I like chicken. It seems healthy. Just the image though. A menu full of chicken dishes. Occasionally, pork and seafood sneak in. There are also various izakaya dishes, but chicken is the main focus. A platter with 5 items: thigh, breast, skin, liver, heart. Cook them yourself on the grill in front of you. The chicken is thick, so it takes a while to cook. While waiting, prepare the condiments: salt, ponzu, grated radish, tartar sauce. Each part of the chicken goes well with different condiments. Personally, I like tartar sauce with the breast meat. It's fun to change up the flavors. Meat-wrapped cheese meatballs were unanimously chosen as a must-have, and they were a great choice. When you place the raw meatballs on the grill, they sizzle and the juices splatter, making the grill very happy. The chicken gizzard stew was a bit of an acquired taste for me. It had "kinkan" (kumquat) and chicken gizzards, which I'm not used to. It was neither delicious nor bad. Those who like it probably enjoy it. Lastly, we were treated to a cut watermelon as a bonus. After the grilled meat, having a refreshing fruit was nice. Even though it was grilled meat, I felt like I ate something healthy. Haha, thanks for the meal!
