I visited the Kanda Curry Street for a stamp rally for the second year in a row. I ordered the Spice Keema Burrito from the Kanda Curry Grand Prix menu along with a highball. The Spice Keema Burrito was made with lots of love by the friendly staff, filled with juicy and spicy keema curry. I enjoyed it all with the highball. I paid with PayPay. The staff cheered me on for the stamp rally with a smile as I left the restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Visited Trieste in Kanda for the first time as the 9th stamp rally stop for Kanda Curry Grand Prix. Today's staff was Natsumi from the neighboring Kitchen723, which seems to be a sister store or at least on good terms. Ordered a highball and the Burrito made with Kitchen723's Keema curry. The Keema curry was delicious and satisfyingly filling. The Chicken curry at Kitchen723 is always amazing, but this year I'm going for the A course, so I came here. Once I clear the A course, I'll visit Kitchen723. Thank you for the meal.

Visited a restaurant as part of the Kanda Curry Grand Prix Stamp Rally. Unfortunately, the previous day's planned visit had to be changed due to the restaurant being closed for a private event. The only nearby restaurant left on the stamp rally course was visited. The restaurant was not crowded, with only two other customers present. The staff were friendly and did not charge a seating fee when informed of the stamp rally. Ordered the "Spice Keema Burrito" with an additional cola for 300 yen. The food took about 10 minutes to arrive, during which the lone staff member engaged in conversation to keep me entertained. The burrito had a slightly more Mexican flavor compared to previous visits, likely due to the generous amount of keema curry filling. The cabbage had a crunchy texture and was generously sauced. The tortilla chips served on the side were perfect for dipping in salsa sauce. Overall, the burrito was delicious and well-balanced in flavors. The owner, who was also present, had a high energy level and interacted with customers enthusiastically. It was a fun and enjoyable dining experience.

Trieste "Full of Burritos" Curry 129th restaurant, 165th meal on August 10, 2023. Since 2017, this is the 3595th curry meal. Stamp rally #014/142 stores. - Spice Keema Burrito for 900 yen - Highball for 500 yen I visited Trieste in Kanda Guard Underpass, which is known for its Mexican-style casual bar atmosphere. It's one of the many bars with limited hours that I've been visiting in the early stages of the stamp rally with 142 stores. The staff here are always welcoming, with a young man who loves Hokuto no Ken due to his familiarity with it from pachinko, and a lovely waitress who listens to customers' stories even if she doesn't understand them. We had a lively conversation about Heart, famous for the phrase "Hidebu!" This collaboration between Hokuto no Ken and the stamp rally is really great, as it gives us more topics to discuss with friends. The Keema Curry Burrito was delicious, as expected from a shop run by the owner of Kitchen723 next door. It was filled with plenty of vegetables, and I enjoyed it with nachos dipped in salsa sauce and a highball. It's a fun and delicious place to visit, perfect for a quick and enjoyable meal. All's well that ends well. #GoggleMask #AcharlIKEDA #Trieste #Burrito #Kanda #KandaCurryStreetStampRally

After having dinner at a certain place, I felt like having a light drink or two. While walking in the Kanda district, I spotted a familiar figure from behind and it seemed like they also noticed me, so I decided to enter the restaurant where they were heading - "Trieste" (I forgot to take a picture of the storefront). You can check the location of the restaurant on Tabelog. Trieste is considered the sister restaurant of Kitchen723. The owner of 723 was working at Trieste that day, so I greeted them after a long time. Seeing their energetic self always lifts my spirits. I quickly ordered a beer and some appetizers. As I checked the menu to see what to eat, I decided on trying the "Curry Quesadilla" for 1,100 yen. It was my first time trying Quesadilla, which is apparently a Mexican fast food. At Trieste, they wrap the ingredients in dough and serve it like a hot sandwich. It was so hot that they had to wrap it in paper for me to eat. Ouch, I burned my mouth as expected! But I always want to eat hot food while it's still hot. I enjoyed some jalapenos on the side for added flavor, along with sipping on my beer. I also ordered the "Spice Keema Burrito" for 900 yen, which I have tried before. The burrito was packed with vegetables, making it a balanced meal with carbs, meat, and veggies all in one hand. Eating the burrito with one hand and holding my drink in the other hand was the perfect combination for a light drink and meal. It was a great way to end the day. Thank you for the meal!

On this day, I headed to Motsuyaki Ishikawa in Kanda. Oh no! It's crowded. So, I decided to escape to the neighboring Trieste. It's a standing bar, but it seems like you can enjoy Mexican cuisine there. A friendly female bartender greeted me. There was only one other customer there. I ordered two draft beers for 600 yen each. The bartender was smiling and engaging in conversation with the other customer. The cold beer was delicious. I wanted to try their burritos, but I decided to wait and have motsuyaki later. I snacked on tortilla chips and mixed nuts for 500 yen. The female staff member started preparing curry. Apparently, this place is affiliated with Kitchen723, known for their curry. As I was enjoying my second beer, another customer arrived. They were also planning to go to Motsuyaki Ishikawa next, just like me. They had one drink and then left for Ishikawa. I finished my drink and moved to the now empty seat next door. Next time, I'll try the burrito or curry at Trieste or Kitchen723!

Under the elevated tracks of Kanda Station, there are many cozy little bars, and I visited one called Trieste. The interior had a small counter that could fit about 5-6 people. I ordered a curry burrito that looked delicious. It took a bit of time, so I ordered a cola and sipped on it while waiting. When the burrito arrived, it was wrapped in paper and looked perfect for snacking. It was packed full of ingredients and had a strong presence. The crunchy texture of the cabbage and the flavorful keema curry really stimulated my appetite. The tortilla chips were also delicious! The keema curry burrito cost 880 yen.

When I visited this place for lunch before, they were closed so I had to leave. Tonight, after having curry at a different place, I decided to give this place another try for their burrito. Like other restaurants in the area, the entrance door was open. There were no tables set up outside, but the first floor counter had four customers already. It felt a bit crowded, but I decided to go in anyway. The customers at the counter seemed to be curry experts, with some having visited multiple curry shops in one day and even winning the Grand Master title twice. I, on the other hand, have only visited around 50 shops and struggle to visit three in one day. It's a whole different world. I ordered a highball for 600 yen and a keema curry burrito for 880 yen. The kitchen was so small that a young female staff member was cooking right in front of us. We started talking about the curry Grand Prix. Here are my ratings based on my own curry Grand Prix criteria: - Taste of the curry itself: 3 - Amount of curry sauce: 3 - Quantity and taste of rice: 3 - Value for money: 3 - Side dishes: 3.5 (tortilla chips were served) - Other notes: 3 The burrito was initially thick, making me wonder if I could finish it, but I managed to eat it all. It was satisfying. The lunch is the same price, but there's a 50 yen discount in October. The minestrone soup is 50 yen, and drinks like craft cola are 200 yen. The lunch had a slightly better rating. I encouraged the person heading to the next curry Grand Prix shop and we wished each other good luck before I left the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a Keema Curry Burrito and the staff was very nice. I wanted to post it on Instagram but I was too full, so I asked if I could just take a picture of the food and take it home, and they kindly said it was okay. We also talked about the final event on November 5th and 6th, and I mentioned that I would be participating in a Chinese dress, so they encouraged me to do so. When I got home and opened the takeout bag, the food was neatly packed in a lunch box. I forgot to take a picture, though. After reheating it, I had it with beer, and it was a perfect match. The burrito was wrapped beautifully with lots of vegetables inside, and the curry had a spicy flavor. It turns out that it's the same curry as the one served at Kitchen 723, which is two doors down. It also came with tortilla chips as a side, which also went well with the beer. It's perfect for a light meal or a casual drink. Thank you for the delicious burrito.

Lunch Set Burrito + Iced Tea for 1,050 yen. I visited during the Curry Grand Prix. The burrito is perfect as a light snack. However, the portion size for lunch is too small. I wonder if this amount is enough for women? The taste is average. I don't think I will visit again next time.

I visited Kanda Curry GP. Just like last year, while waiting for takeout, I had a little beer~♪ I ordered the Spicy Keema Burrito and a cold draft beer for a solo cheers~♪ I could have eaten here and gone home, but I decided to take the burrito to go because I was tired from yesterday's run. When I got home, I enjoyed it right away♪ Unlike last year, this time it came in a lunch box with nachos included. I toasted with a St. Zero Lemon~♪ I wish there was a bit more spice since I like spicy food, but it was delicious♪ Let's do our best again tomorrow! Thank you for the meal~♪

It's been a year since I visited the Kanda Curry Street for a stamp rally. I informed the staff that I came for the stamp rally and ordered a Spicy Keema Burrito and a Highball drink. The staff asked what appetizer I would like, and I jokingly mentioned "tequila." Surprisingly, they brought me a chilled tequila shot as an appetizer, which was a first for me. I sipped on the tequila while using the Highball as a chaser. The Spicy Keema Burrito was filled with delicious Keema curry from the neighboring Kitchen 723. It was a tasty burrito with plenty of Keema curry. I realized I need to visit Kitchen 723 for the stamp rally as well. The staff offered me another drink, but I declined as I had work the next day. It was a great meal.

Kanda Curry Master is a small eater with no talent. Along Kanda Fureai Street, next to the popular curry restaurant Kitchen723, is a new variety kitchen called Trieste that opened in March 2021. Congratulations on your first anniversary! They also made their debut in the Kanda Curry Street Stamp Rally 2021. On the shop page of the Kanda Curry Grand Prix, staff member Konami introduces the Keema Curry Burrito. Could this be the debut of the best rookie of the generation? "I'm younger and cuter, right?" she says, boldly entering the space next to Kitchen723 run by Natsumi. A red Kitchen723 versus a blue Trieste! This is going to be interesting... Oh, it turns out Trieste is an affiliate of Kitchen723. On this day, my friend and I, in a slightly tipsy mood, were drawn into the restaurant by the nice blue lighting for a final drink. Cheers with the ?th glass of draft beer (600 yen) today! The charm is mixed nuts. I thought Konami was handling things alone, but there was another guy working with him. This guy was really nice, and even though I planned to have just one drink and go home, the conversation flowed and I ended up having a second glass of red wine (600 yen). "I'm an Edokko, born in Kanda." "That's right, I don't drink, I don't drink, I'm not a drinker." It seems like I ended up treating the staff to drinks, and it turned into 6 staff drinks (700 yen each)... Oh well, it's not a boys' bar after all...

Hello. I am the self-proclaimed "Funky Curry King". I participated in the Kanda Curry Street Stamp Rally F Course, also known as the Funky Course, where you can freely visit 30 out of the 114 participating restaurants. The 27th funky spot is 'Trieste'. This restaurant has a stylish name and is actually the sister store of 'Kitchen 723'. The owner, 723, saw the answer "Trieste" on a TV show and decided to name the restaurant after it. The interior of the restaurant is themed around the sea with a blue color scheme, and the vegetable-packed and juicy Keema curry burrito is served on a refreshing blue plate. If you want some spice, you can adjust it with habanero sauce. The burrito has a nice touch of cheese, complementing the Keema curry. The atmosphere is funky and relaxed. The burrito itself goes well with beer, as do the tortilla chips on the side. The cute and cheerful female owner also adds to the enjoyable experience. I had a great time and ended up having three beers because of the great atmosphere and the cute and cheerful female owner. Did you know the difference between tortilla and burrito? Tortilla is made from corn, while burrito is made from wheat flour. Only 3 more funky spots left until I become the Curry King. Let's enjoy the night together! I love curry and you♡

Kanda Curry Street Food Stamp Rally 2021 has arrived, Trieste here. Today, the Burrito was sold out, so the Keema Curry Burrito was changed to Keema Curry Rice. It's like Taco Rice turned into Keema Curry. It feels unique, with a distinct spice flavor. There are plenty of vegetables, so it seems healthy. Delicious. The occasional crunch of the chips adds a nice texture. It was tasty.

880 yen Spice Schema Burrito 12:12 entered the store, no previous customers, 2 customers behind, 2 takeout customers. The woman in the shop is cheerful and energetic. She is cute both in appearance and voice. 5 minutes later, the food was served. Unlike the menu photo, it was sliced in the middle. I think cutting it diagonally would showcase the ingredients inside and make it easier to eat... Maybe they are trying different ways of serving, including tortilla chips. Now, the burrito has a spicy aroma and is full of vegetables. Eating tortilla chips in between makes it feel like snacking on sweets. After finishing the meal, I feel somewhat satisfied, but the burrito is perceived as a light snack, prompting cravings. Giving in to my desires, I ate a curry bun from Montabo on the way back to the office. My body feels heavy, but my mind feels light.

[First Visit on October 1, 2021] When you exit the east exit of Kanda Station and head towards Akihabara along the JR elevated tracks, you will eventually see this shop on your left. It was the 31st day of the "Kanda Curry Grand Prix" in 2021. On this weekday, I took the afternoon off to attend a live performance of my favorite band in the evening! With the lifting of the state of emergency, the event returned to its normal format from the previous special setup, and when I left the venue, it was around 9:30 pm. On my way back, I decided to try my luck and got off at Kanda Station to pass by this shop... and they were still accepting customers! There was clearly a regular customer enjoying drinks with the female staff. When I mentioned that I was visiting for a stamp rally, I was recommended the "Spice Keema Burrito." Since I was in a high spirits after the live performance, I thought, why not have a beer at the shop after a long time! So, I ordered a "draft beer" as well. The beer was served promptly. When I saw the beer that arrived, I couldn't help but laugh, but the staff member said, "I like it when there's less foam so I can drink more!" This led to various conversations with the regular customer and the staff member, making it a fun time. Inside the shop, I noticed a Minion plush toy. As expected, it was related to the sister shop "kitchen723" located just across the street, with one being red and the other blue. If the gallery in between was yellow... haha. The owner of the red shop is, of course, "Natsumi," but the staff member who chatted with me that day was also "Natsumi"... a bit confusing. However, the red shop is a place where curry lovers gather, so it's no surprise that the curry here is also delicious! With a generous amount of crunchy vegetables on one side and a proper spiced keema curry on the other side. Natsumi is definitely skilled at this. The spiciness is mild but the flavor is rich! It's a bit exciting to be able to eat a spiced curry that tastes similar to the one at the red shop, which is not available at the red shop. The blue shop's "Natsumi" is currently studying curry as well, in addition to exploring spices. She explained that even with the same recipe, the heat intensity and slight timing differences can result in different flavors, showing the depth of spices. It's great to see young staff members like her improving the quality of curry in Kanda! Now, we just need to wait for the yellow shop's "Natsumi"... haha. After a fun time with tortilla chips and draft beer, even after the stamp rally, I have more restaurants I want to visit! Thank you for the meal.

Next to Kanda Station Guard Kitchen 723, this shop specializes in burritos and taco slices. During the Kanda Curry Grand Prix period, they are selling a Spicy Keema Burrito. I sat at the counter on this day for dining in. I chatted with the self-proclaimed liquor lover female owner across the counter while enjoying the meal. The burrito is filled with plenty of vegetables, and the spicy keema curry is a great accent, making it a very fresh and delicious burrito. The keema curry is reportedly provided by the neighboring Kitchen 723. I also enjoyed the tortilla chips with salsa sauce on the side. Next time, I would like to visit for a casual drink while tasting other menu items. Thank you for the meal!

I've been really into burritos and tacos lately, and while walking under the tracks in Kanda, I saw the word "burrito". Curious, I checked it out and the lady there told me to go ahead and order. I went for the pork burrito with a bit of spice. It was tasty with a slight kick, but I felt it could be more authentic with more spice. The filling was a bit lacking and there were gaps in the burrito. The vegetables weren't drained properly, so there was some dripping. But the taste was good. If they make some improvements, it could be even more delicious! Since I love burritos and tacos, I've been trying out places with "burrito" and "tacos" in Shibuya, Jinbocho, Funabashi, and Tsudanuma. I'll come back to this place for another try in the future!

【Kanda Curry Street Food Stamp Rally 2021 Part 24】This time, we visited a restaurant participating in the stamp rally for the first time. We entered the charming shop located under the JR elevated tracks called "Trieste." You can check the location of the shop on Tabelog. Minions welcome you under a beach umbrella. Sitting at the counter, we checked the menu. They offer 243 different combinations of tacos to choose from. You can choose between taco rice or a burrito, and customize the rice and vegetable amount, meat, spiciness, side dishes, and toppings. It seems like there are 243 different ways to order. Tako-san found it a bit troublesome to choose, so he went with the "Spicy Keema Burrito" for 880 yen. Many participants in the curry stamp rally enjoy such light snacks for continuous eating. Tako-san hasn't been hopping around much this year, but it's nice to have something snack-like. The burrito was filled with plenty of vegetables and spicy keema. Some may recognize the minions at the storefront, as this shop is positioned as the second store of kitchen723, ensuring the quality of the keema. Eating the burrito with tortilla chips in one hand makes you crave a beer, but unfortunately, we visited during the state of emergency... so we had to resist. This time, we enjoyed it with an iced coffee. Takeout was also available, so it would have been nice to take it home and enjoy it with a beer. Thank you for the meal!
