From Jingu Stadium to the along the Outer Garden West Street. There is a home-style restaurant called Tochi no Ki on the second floor of a certain mixed-use building. It's a quiet hidden gem of a place. I feel like I've explored this area thoroughly, but I never knew about this place... It seems to be run by an elderly woman and what appears to be her daughter, two women managing the place. Looking at the menu on the wall, there is a lineup of home-style izakaya dishes. I started with potato salad and grilled eggplant. The flavors made me feel warm inside. They also have unique dishes like Latin-style fried sausages and corned beef piccata. Perfect for drinking snacks. The ham cutlet is a must-try. The alcohol selection is decent as well. Fried food goes well with lemon sour. The overall laid-back atmosphere and relaxed service make it a comfortable place to unwind. I was taken to this great restaurant after watching a baseball game at Jingu Stadium.

A friend invited me to a restaurant they said was good, and it turned out to be a place I had been curious about for a while. It's run by a mother and daughter, with the mother being over 80 years old and the daughter's age a mystery. They moved from Minami-Aoyama a few years ago and have been in business for almost 30 years in total. I used to enjoy going to their restaurant in Minami-Aoyama during the bubble era, so I understand why they have been successful for so long. The food is delicious. Dishes like "kinpira," "ham cutlet," and miso soup taste surprisingly good. They also have creative dishes like "deep-fried sausage" with a Latin twist, and everything is consistently good. They seem to prioritize using seasonal ingredients, and their passion for food is evident in every dish. They have a great selection of drinks, including shochu, sake, and a wine cellar. And the prices are reasonable! They cater to both casual diners and those who just want a quick meal, like someone enjoying a grilled fish set meal. The mother's gentle and relaxed service, along with the daughter's charming Edo-style personality, make for a pleasant dining experience that makes you want to stay longer. I hope they continue to thrive, as I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

Family-style home cooking always warms the heart. I ordered the following dishes: grated yam with plum, potato salad, horse mackerel fry, shishamo, and meat and tofu. The potato salad was so-so, but the rest was delicious. The meat and tofu dish was especially tasty with good quality meat used. The grandmother running the place showed subtle kindness that made me feel warm inside, creating a cozy atmosphere. It's a great place to visit alone or with friends. I didn't know there was a restaurant like this in Omotesando.

This restaurant, run by two sisters, was featured on TV and has a very homey atmosphere. A recommended dish is the corned beef piccata. Other popular menu items include burdock root stir-fry, thick rolled omelette, and potato salad - perfect for those living away from home. Despite mostly serving home-cooked meals, this mysterious restaurant somehow also caters to banquets. It quickly fills up with groups of customers, as it can only accommodate around 20 people. It's a beloved local restaurant that has been around for a long time.
