I was looking forward to watching "Jane Eyre" and finally got to see it. This time, I sat in the back row of the 1st floor aisle, and it was very easy to see. The stage was extended, making it seem closer than usual. The cast includes Moeno Sumida as Jane Eyre, Chika Yabiku as Helen Burns, and Yoshio Inoue as Edward, with my favorites Takaishi Mizuno and Kyohei Kanda also appearing. I had done some pre-reading on the story, but the hidden truth was surprisingly unexpected, making me go "Wow!" Moeno's voice was as transparent and soothing as always. She didn't strain her voice but had a calming tone, which was different from her previous roles. Chika's voice seemed more fitting in terms of image. However, her character was as expected, resembling the Virgin Mary at the end. My favorite, Takaishi Mizuno, had many solo parts this time, which made me happy. Her pink dress reminded me of Princess Maru from her previous role. The scene where she goes "Kii!" was also amusing. There were many highlights for Takaishi's fans! It was really good! This is a production I would like to see every time. After the show, we went to a nearby yakiniku restaurant. I occasionally visit this place, and I noticed a bakery diagonally across the street! I need to try that next time. I usually eat yakiniku by wrapping it in lettuce, but they were out of lettuce! I ordered a Chooregi salad instead. Isn't this just torn lettuce leaves? The kimchi assortment had three varieties. The cabbage was a bit spicy, while the oi kimchi and kakuteki had a milder spiciness. As for the meat, they were often sold out when ordered individually, so we opted for the eight-piece assorted meat platter. It had the Tomo Sankaku I wanted to try! All the dishes were delicious, but the enoki mushrooms used as a base under the meat were a nice palate cleanser and tasty. For dessert, I tried the kalbi warm noodles, which turned out to be cold noodles with a smooth texture and delicious meat. I really liked it, although I personally didn't like the bamboo shoots in it... There were a lot of foreigners there. Maybe it's in a guidebook?
