I sat at a terrace table with a kotatsu, but it was too cold, so I asked to move inside. The interior has a casual atmosphere like a bar. I ordered a highball and let's choose from the menu. <Appetizer> First, let's start with the appetizer! The appetizer at Yamazakiya always consists of tsukune. The soup with the savory flavor of meat and the soft, crumbly tsukune have a great combination. Especially in the cold season, you can take a warm breath with the warm soup. <Crushed Wasabi (495 yen)> Starting with a light snack, I ordered "Crushed Wasabi." It's quite unusual to directly put wasabi on the food, right? The texture is elastic but not too crunchy, just the right amount of chewiness. The crushed clams are seasoned on the sweeter side, but the sharp spiciness of wasabi adds an adult-like twist to the snack. <Large! Oyster Fry (638 yen)> Oyster dishes are the specialty of this restaurant. So, I definitely wanted to try the representative oyster dish! I chose the "Oyster Fry." As the name suggests, they are quite large! The crispy fried coating and the gooey insides overflow with an amazing combination!!! The sauce was a refreshing mix of mayonnaise and vinegar, with a watery texture. <Fresh Oysters (1 piece for 190 yen)> Of course, you can't miss out on "Fresh Oysters"! At 190 yen per piece, the cost performance is great!!! I had to order this. They are small, so easy to eat in one bite, and quite salty. Even when squeezed with lemon, the saltiness remains strong. They have counter and table seats. - Asahi Super Dry medium 500 yen - Asahi Super Dry large 950 yen - Craft beer Dokuhon white beer that goes well with oysters, bottle 650 yen, a beer I saw for the first time! - Otoshi - Fresh oyster 1 piece 190 yen x4, which was cheaper that day! - Oyster gratin 580 yen - Tomato, avocado, mozzarella tricolor caprese 580 yen - Hand-kneaded lamb meat mincemeat cutlet with herb breadcrumbs 620 yen There were 18 different sauces for the grilled oysters that I didn't try. A new shop in Akabane that seems to have opened recently. It looks like a standing bar? I peeked inside and saw everyone sitting on chairs. Maybe it was originally a standing bar when it opened, but they changed it to allow seating? I was feeling tired and not in the mood for standing, so this works out perfectly (laughs). I'm trying to be a bit healthier lately, so I'll start with a healthy-looking soba tea highball (380 yen) maybe (laughs). And for snacks, avocado sashimi (350 yen). Avocado is said to lower cholesterol. Taro tempura (580 yen) also looks good for the body. I wonder if the taro is roughly grated? It feels a bit over-fried, so the texture is a bit disappointing. Since it's an oyster shop, I have to order oysters. Steamed oysters (1 piece for 350 yen) are plump. (The price for raw, steamed, and grilled oysters varies depending on the day). The oyster gratin (580 yen) is a bit rich in flavor but delicious. My favorite is "Kaifu-do" (800 yen), a Hiroshima sake called "Sea Breeze". The bottle illustration is cute, and it's quite fruity, sweet, and easy to drink, so it's dangerous as you can drink it quickly. The prices for both food and drinks are reasonable, and there are plenty of menu options besides oysters, so even if you're not a fan of oysters, you can easily enjoy it.

This is a shop located beyond Marumasu on the main street of Akabane 1st Avenue. I found some old photos from a visit a long time ago. At that time, we were already past the second party and were beckoned in by some beautiful people outside the shop. The interior of the shop was much larger than I had expected. I initially thought they only served fresh oysters, but they actually had a variety of dishes such as oyster fry and grilled pork skewers. It was a lively and energetic place where we had a lot of fun. I hope we can go back to those times when we could all have a good time together. It was a nostalgic place. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like eating oysters and searched for a restaurant in Akabane where I could eat them, and this restaurant came up, so it was my first visit. Since I had children with me, I reserved a completely private room. Although it was a completely private room, it was not very clean. It felt like they were using a room that was partly used as a warehouse as a completely private room. The raw oysters and steamed oysters were delicious. The grilled oysters were a bit salty and strong in flavor. When using this restaurant, I think it's better to use the table seats on the first floor.

Oysters go well with white beer. The grilled oysters with basil, homemade tartar sauce, and shrimp miso were delicious. There are also various other options to choose from. The bubbling oyster ajillo is also a favorite. The tender kelp-sealed lamb chops were delicious, and the complimentary soup was also tasty.

Delicious! I liked steamed oysters, grilled oysters, and raw oysters in that order. The cheese risotto was amazing!! Oyster fry was just okay. It's affordable, you can eat a lot and drink, I will definitely go again!
