As you leave your seat, the atmosphere changes drastically to a traditional Japanese inn-like private room space. On this day, we all ordered the yakiniku lunch set which came with 10 slices of wagyu beef and 2 prawns. It also included namul, kimchi, salad, and soup. The yakiniku lunch meat is processed, but since they use wagyu beef, it is really delicious. It melts in your mouth. The kimchi is on the sweeter side, which I like. A yakiniku restaurant with delicious kimchi is a happy place. The portion is quite generous, and you will definitely leave with a full stomach. It's been a while since I visited Jyuban-en. Three of us went on a weekday evening. We started with my favorite dish, the salted tongue with green onions. The interior of Jyubanen varies depending on the location, but this one has a transparent piano where you can enjoy your meal while listening to live music. The food is delicious, and being able to eat in a calm atmosphere is the best part. The staff are also very friendly. Thanks to that, the restaurant is quite busy. When I went for lunch, I had to wait for an hour. The dishes in the photos are the "Tsubo-yaki Kalbi Set" and the "Half-cut Kalbi." Soft drinks and dessert are included, although not shown in the photos.

I visited around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. There are three locations of Jojoen in Shinjuku, including Yu Genting. Today, I visited this store located at the west exit. The interior of the store is spacious and not too crowded, creating a nice atmosphere. The menu is more extensive compared to other locations, which is promising. I tried the carefully selected 3 types of meat and several other meats. The view from the counter seats is also nice, and the speed of serving the meat is decent. The meat is delicious as expected, and I was able to have a relaxing and enjoyable time. I would recommend this place if you want to indulge a little and relax in Shinjuku. Thank you for the meal!

A fail-proof, highly reassuring yakiniku restaurant with a strong sense of security. I arrived a little after 12pm on a weekday and only had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. There are multiple locations of Yakiniku Jumbo in Shinjuku, but the one in Hulic is the best choice due to the cleanliness of the area and the good safety. The consistent deliciousness and great customer service satisfied my yakiniku cravings. It's a hidden gem because you can get in without a reservation on weekdays. ♡

The restaurant is quite busy even during regular lunch hours. The seating space is a bit close together, so it's better to use a private room for business meetings. The taste is typical of Seryna. There are other Seryna branches nearby, so you may not need to specifically visit this one.

Ogikubo Reii is highly recommended! You can listen to live grand piano music while dining, which is a rare treat. The pianist's skill is impressive. The meat is delicious, and you can have a luxurious dining experience. This place is a must-visit within the Jojoen chain.

I always use the course. Do you ever go to a yakiniku restaurant and end up disappointed? Seryna is a place where you can always enjoy a stable and reliable meal. Everything you order is delicious. The chateaubriand is the best!! I also recommend trying the cold noodles with sesame salt sauce! I will visit again!

I made a reservation with my child and they provided a semi-private table where we could keep the stroller without folding it. The table was spacious and safe for children, with the option to order egg soup with vegetables cut into small pieces and without pepper for the kids. Here's what I ordered: - Mix Lunch 4000 yen - Half portion of Tan Tan (grilled tongue with sauce) 750 yen - Draft beer (medium) 950 yen It was quite busy during lunchtime, so I had to wait a while for my beer, but the beautiful foam ring on top was worth the wait. The tongue came with a salt-based sauce, but I opted for the sauce at my child's request. It came with 6 pieces, and they were tender and delicious. The Mix Lunch included grilled items (lean beef, ribs, shrimp), soup, salad, namul, kimchi, rice, dessert, and a drink. The soup was still a bit salty, but it was full of vegetables, and the shrimp and meat were tasty. The dessert was a milk pudding with strawberry sauce, easy to eat even when full. It seems like they might be short-staffed here, as it took a while for the staff to come even when I rang the buzzer, and some of them seemed lacking in motivation. However, there were also proper staff members who provided good service. It would be nice if even part-time workers in the service industry put more thought into their work.

I was more impressed by the deliciousness of the salad than the meat. I want to eat this kind of salad every day... The dressing, pickles, and kimchi were all sweetly seasoned.

In a moment, I found myself at "Ketobashi", "Hisakisakibashi", shedding tears at the parting of this life at "Sanzu no Kahani Kagaruhashi", and waiting for the next life at "Enma-sama". I thanked them for their quick response and asked about the cooking oil, to which they recommended "Taihaku sesame oil" for tempura. When I inquired about shrimp, they explained that "Kuruma shrimp" is a high-priced item, while the tempura rice bowl "Tendon" is made with "Ushiebi shrimp". Disappointed, I ended up at the popular "Sosoen" without any prior knowledge. I have experienced only the Akasaka branch and Yugentei. The food was not bad, but not overly fancy, suitable for the general public. The piano music playing in the background caught my attention. The skill of the pianist may not be exceptional, but it certainly enhances the atmosphere. I was guided to a room for four people, where even my belongings and coat were covered with a huge cloth. Is this to prevent smoke and odors? One can only wonder. After some deliberation, I selected the "Yakiniku lunch" for 3000 yen. Soon, the ordered dishes arrived - beef topped with shrimp, and I was speechless for a moment. I tried to eat the shrimp, but it was tough and unappetizing. I quickly returned to Manjou, disappointed with the shrimp. It was a miss, not worth the price. I reluctantly tried the "Yajirobei Kitahachi" with an unappealing appearance. I decided to try the grilled shrimp, but it was equally unappetizing. It was the worst, no, even worse.

The food was stable and delicious, but there was a waiter whose body odor was bothersome... It was the type of odor that lingers quite strongly. I wondered if the other staff members working together didn't notice it? Since it's a place to eat, I think it would be okay for the surrounding staff to mention it. It's a shame to have such delicious meat and dishes go to waste because of that...

Shinjuku Hal Yaku at Jojoen. It's been a while since I've been to Jojoen. I had the Kalbi 3-point platter, Jojoen salad, and Fucile stone-grilled bibimbap. All three are Kalbi, but each one is different. The Kalbi melts in your mouth, as expected from Jojoen. The salad is the classic Jojoen salad, with a smaller portion. The Fucile stone-grilled bibimbap was served separately and was delicious. Although there was Fucile, I couldn't really taste it, but it was still delicious. Lastly, even though we didn't order it, we were served ice cream. Do they always do that? For some reason, only the matcha flavor was heart-shaped.

Visited the restaurant with my wife and daughter. As usual, I'm the only one drinking. Started with a lemon sour after pre-drinking. Had white liver, kakuteki with kimchi, and started with thick-cut tongue for grilled dishes. The liver was surprisingly tender, almost too elegant. The tongue was thick and juicy, with a satisfying chewy texture. Continued with top kalbi, lean loin, fillet, and pot harami. Lemon sour evaporated quickly. Opted for green tea high to lower the calories with catechin effect. Shared stone pot bibimbap, but the burnt rice was the best part! Packed the stomach full and satisfied. There are many other small shops with better cost-performance, but the reliable quality of Jojoen is not bad!

During lunchtime, I asked if they serve Kalbi Udon, and they said yes. I was relieved because my love for Jojoen's Kalbi Udon is strong. It's undeniably delicious! It's my number one choice! I enjoyed a happy moment by the window, watching the outside view. The service was great too, as expected. I will definitely visit again.
