The tail stew is simmered thoroughly and very delicious with a melt-in-your-mouth texture ❤️ I received a pot, and you can choose the meat to put in the pot according to your preference. I started with the recommended kalbi and hormone, and the meat is thickly cut but very tender, so it can be simmered without any issues. The soup is not as spicy as it looks and is very tasty. It contains plenty of kimchi, bean sprouts, and tofu, making it healthy! I finished every last bit, including the soup! I ordered tongue salt, harami, loin, upper mino, yang, and stone bibimbap. All the meat was delicious. I added tongue and harami. It seems rare to find a place that serves yang. The bibimbap was just okay, but the meat was delicious, so I would like to go again.

Sometimes when I think about going to Ameyoko, I often use this restaurant for lunch. This time it was for Mother's Day celebration. Even though it's not the highest grade meat, it's incredibly delicious, and the side dishes like squid sashimi are also great. Spending thousands of yen to sear thin slices of meat for a few seconds, which has been a recent trend, is nice, but... being able to enjoy good meat as you like is the essence, right?

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, and luckily I was able to get a same-day reservation. The meat is well seasoned but not too heavy. Budget: 7000 yen I felt like having a la carte rice, not caring about the quality of the meat. The tare yakiniku is served quickly, so it's good to order little by little. I wish it was a bit cheaper. The harami (skirt steak) refill was of better quality. However, it was 2300 yen, which is expensive. To those reading this, I highly recommend taking one precious hour of your time (excluding travel time) to visit this yakiniku restaurant. The deliciousness is guaranteed. During the winter season, the raw sea cucumber and oyster sashimi are excellent. The horse mackerel, squid, and Kaori are delicious all year round. They also have a soup made with the Jeju Island specialty, "Mon." The regular kalbi is more than enough, and the intestines here are fantastic for those who enjoy them. Due to the owner's family schedule, the restaurant may occasionally be closed, so it's better to make a reservation by phone.

I went to a yakiniku restaurant called "Kinhoen" in Okachimachi, which I had been curious about for a while. It was recommended by some of the yakiniku places I often visit. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Okachimachi Station, with a retro exterior that exudes a lot of history. Since it was the beginning of the week, there was only one group of customers inside. We were seated in a private room with table seating and a raised tatami area. This place is known for its hot pot, so we ordered tongue, harami, and the hot pot. The tongue had a strong salty flavor and was quite indulgent. The harami and pig's feet were consistently good. We added honeycomb tripe and beef hormone to the Kinhoen hot pot, which was delicious with its sweet and savory soup. We ended our meal with noodles. There are many historic yakiniku restaurants in Ueno, making it a fun place to explore.

Located a short walk from Ueno direction from Okachimachi Station, this yakiniku restaurant is popular with regular customers and tends to fill up by around 6pm. We ordered: - Beef tongue with salt - Harami (skirt steak) - Sirloin All the meats had good quality and the sirloin, especially when cooked rare, was delicious! Payment by card is accepted.

I often use this place for lunch. Whenever I feel like having yakiniku, I always come here! Every type of meat here is flavorful, whether with salt or sauce, it's delicious! I especially love the sauce for the harami (skirt steak). The squid sashimi that I always order has a refreshing taste with the spring onion. And I always struggle to decide between the cold noodles with Chinese jellyfish or the vegetable-rich tegutan soup (white sesame tantan?). The restaurant may not be fancy, but I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere where I can always have a leisurely meal.

It is a rare type of yakiniku restaurant with sunken hearth tables. The brisk staff will take your order promptly. It feels like being taken care of by the mom and dad of the restaurant. The quality of the meat is excellent as shown in the photos. Above all, the sauce is delicious. It makes you want to ask for more rice! The miso sauce for the offal is also great. Bring the sake too! However, if you get too loud and rowdy, you might be warned, so be careful. This is a recommended yakiniku restaurant in the area.

I went to Daikanyama for lunch and shopping, and then headed to Shibuya to take the Ginza Line to Ueno for the Van Gogh exhibition at 4 o'clock. It was my first time at Shibuya Station on the Ginza Line since it has been renovated. Despite the closing time approaching in the evening, I lined up to enter the exhibition. It's incredibly popular. It's been a while since I've been to an art museum, and I was very satisfied. Now, what should I have for dinner? There are limited options in Ueno, but there are places like "Seisei Hanten," "Wine Shokudo Papan," "Kanoya" for daytime drinking parties, and "Chanchanken" for Tanmen to finish off the night. I haven't been to "Fumisaku" much, but I feel like having yakiniku... I'll go to "Kinpoin," where the Harami is delicious and highly recommended. I first heard about this place from reviews about their udon being a staple, and I also became a fan because of the lovely smile of the mama-san. I arrived a little after 5:30 pm and was the first in line. It quickly filled up afterward! I'm glad I came early. I drank too much yesterday, so I'll have a bottle of beer! Do you have makgeolli today? Yes, we have makgeolli! (Their homemade makgeolli is served in a beer bottle.) I'm not that hungry, so I'll have one serving of salted tongue, two servings of Harami, and a set of lettuce wraps. I slowly cooked each piece of meat while still immersed in the afterglow of Van Gogh. It's been a while since I've been here, but the tongue and Harami are still delicious. The flavor of the meat is rich, and the sauce for the Harami is also great. Once when I brought my second daughter (a friend who had a birthday party yesterday), my mother said, "You can drink this Harami, can't you?" This child immediately said, "It's delicious, so I can drink it." We also got a few shiso leaves and miso with the lettuce wraps, which made for a perfect palate cleanser. If you layer a shiso leaf and a piece of lettuce, add some tasty miso, and eat it, it's a perfect break between bites. I started to feel full and uncomfortable as I ate slowly. I'll use this strategy next time too! I really want to try the hot pot here, but I need to come with 3 or 4 people, so it will have to wait until next time. It was a fulfilling and enjoyable holiday. I'm a bit scared to step on the scale, but I feel like I can work hard again starting tomorrow...٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Great cost performance, delicious tongue at this yakiniku restaurant! Without a recommendation, it's hard to muster the courage to go in. Located in Ameyoko, this place feels like a local yakiniku restaurant, but the quality of the meat is really good. Especially the tongue and harami, and also the bone-in kalbi are a must-try. The bibimbap comes with a surprising amount of rice and a mountain of namul on top, so if you order bibimbap, you might not need the rice and namul. Adding your favorite meat on top and eating it is the best!

My partner said he wanted to eat meat, but not near our home, but rather not too far from our workplace. I searched and found this place. I called to make a reservation and they said they had seats available. An hour later, my partner and I met at Ueno Station and came here. The restaurant had a retro, Showa-era look, typical of a family-run yakiniku place. We were seated at a table with a sunken floor. We ordered mainly what my partner likes. The order was as follows: tongue with salt, top skirt steak with salt, top skirt steak with sauce, marinated short rib, marinated hachinosu (beef intestines), miso kimchi platter, assorted namul (seasoned vegetables), mung bean sprout salad, and ox tongue hot pot. First came the kimchi and namul, then the meat started arriving, starting with the tongue with salt, even though it wasn't cooked yet. Surprisingly, all the meat arrived within 10 minutes! My partner was shocked. We couldn't eat all the meat at once, so some of it was left untouched and the fat melted, making the meat soggy. It was a unique yakiniku dinner experience.

In the Ameyoko shopping street, there is a yakiniku restaurant called "Kinhoen". The interior of the restaurant has a retro and nostalgic atmosphere. I forgot to order meat, but I had the Kinhoen hot pot! The combination of vegetables, meat, and the perfect level of spiciness was amazing! It was the best hot pot! Everyone should definitely try it!

Kohoen is an old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant in Ueno and Okachimachi. The menu features bone-in kalbi, which I haven't had much before but it feels nostalgic. The tongue and salt are incredibly tender, on par with any famous restaurant. Plus, a portion of 5 slices costs only 1300 yen, making it very competitive in terms of price. The loin and harami look similar at first glance. It's fortunate that the loin is so fatty. When you chew it, the flavor of the meat slowly spreads. While preferences may vary, I personally prefer the harami slightly. The hormone dishes have a classic, traditional flavor. I encountered a cut called "yan" for the first time. It looks similar to senmai and has a good chewiness. Whether it's upper mino, hormone, or liver, the taste is satisfying. The spicy tegutan soup for the finish is also excellent, so good that I could finish a portion by myself. They serve makgeolli in beer bottles, adding a unique touch. The cozy, homely atmosphere may make it difficult for families to visit, but it's the kind of place you'd be happy to have in your neighborhood.

Price: 6,000 to 7,000 yen. I used to live nearby and had no idea there was such a delicious yakiniku restaurant! The meat was so tender that it melted in my mouth. Usually, fatty meat gives me indigestion right away (I'm getting older), but surprisingly, I didn't feel any discomfort this time. I tried the upper ribs, harami, loin, liver, and tongue. The seasoning was perfect, and even though I usually don't use sauce, I found myself wanting to dip the meat in it after grilling. The person I went with was a grilling expert, which also contributed to the amazing taste. We grilled garlic together, and the subtle garlic flavor was delightful. Lastly, instead of a traditional ending, we ordered a hot pot. You can choose which meat to put in the pot, and the hormone and ribs were perfect for the spicy broth. The soup was so delicious that I kept drinking it. I really want to go back again soon.
