I visited this place for the first time after the renovation. The interior of the restaurant had changed, but the hormone dipping noodles were still delicious as ever. The thick dipping sauce with a rich consistency paired perfectly with the slightly thinner, chewy noodles. The slightly charred aroma of the hormone added a nice touch, and even the large serving was gone in no time. Thank you for the meal.

I was intrigued by the hormone dish and visited for the first time! I tried the special mixed noodles with added hormone and free extra portion. It's a fun type of dish where you can mix the flavors yourself, but even with plenty of hormone added, I couldn't really taste the hormone. The female staff's service was excellent!
The soup has a rich and delicious flavor with the sweetness of beef and the savory taste of grilled hormone blending well. The noodles have a good chewy texture and a satisfying crunch when bitten into. The lemon adds a refreshing touch that complements the dish nicely. The restaurant reminded me of a place called Chitcho that used to be here, and the taste hasn't changed much, which is good. The staff lacks energy but could improve. It would be better to address the issue of customers not noticing the rice master's POP while seated. I didn't notice it at the ticket machine, so I couldn't purchase it. That's all. Thank you.

It was scorching hot outside, with the potential for people to drop dead, but I ventured out for lunch. Today, I opted for noodles again and chose the Hormone Mazesoba. The staff informed me that I could have a free upgrade to a large portion, so I went for it. The taste was good, and the portion size was satisfying. There were plenty of toppings to choose from. It's not very unique or distinctive, but I think it would be nice to have options like minced garlic or garlic oil. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I went to eat horumon tsukemen at Chichio Gokujidai, where I've been before. When I hear "Chicchone~" from Mr. Gushiken, it reminds me of Chiccho. Am I the only one? It's getting hot, so it's the season for tsukemen. But even with the air conditioning on full blast, hot ramen is still the best. I wanted to try the curry tsukemen here, but it seems like the limited menu is gone. There was a "ladies set" option on the ticket machine! I had a drinking party later that day, so I decided to go easy on the food. It seems like the noodle portion is smaller and comes with a seasoned egg. You can also change the horumon to chashu. ★Ladies Set 930 yen The restaurant was almost full, so I sat at the counter. They provide paper aprons. It arrived in about 4 minutes! Oh, it's a ladies set, so the noodle portion is smaller. The dipping sauce is dark, and when I tried a sip, it was delicious! I tried the horumon as it is. It was seared, fragrant, and tender, really tasty. It goes well with the seafood-based thick soup. The crunchy Mitsuba is also good. The noodles are thick and moist. There's also a cut lemon, but I saved it for later for a change of taste. The smooth noodles have a chewy texture, and it seems like I can keep eating endlessly when combined with the soup. I understood why the men around me were ordering the large portion. Next time, I'll go for a regular size, not the ladies set. But when I have a drinking party or something, I might go for the ladies size again. The half-cooked egg was perfect. When I poured the cut lemon over the noodles, it gave a refreshing and pleasant change of taste. It was delicious. Finally, I tried the soup refill. I added a bit too much hot water, but the mild soup was delicious. I was also curious about the curry fish powder on the table, but I was completely satisfied with just the lemon for a change of taste.

Today's Poteranchi: Initially, the ramen with chili oil, vinegar, and mayonnaise didn't have much flavor, but it ended up tasting good. I probably won't go back because I couldn't really understand the original taste. I'll try the tsukemen next time to make a final judgment. Shibuya, Okushibu, mixed ramen, Gaganara Ramen, special hormone mixed ramen, 1,180 yen. #PotatoHead #Poteranchi #Today'sLunch #ShibuyaLunch #OkushibuLunch #ShibuyaRamen #ShibuyaMixedRamen #GaganaraRamenGoku #MixedRamen #HormoneMixedRamen #NoRepeat

It was around 3:00 PM, so there was only one customer in the store. I think I visited here about 20 years ago. The name of the restaurant was slightly different and I don't think it had the word "極" in it. My wife ordered the special mixed hormone tsukemen in large size, and I ordered the hormone ramen in large size with rice. I couldn't resist when they said the noodles could be made large for free, so I asked for that too. I compared my faint memories from when I last ate here and found that the slightly thick, animal-based fish and pork bone soup with grilled hormone was a perfect match. The tsukemen had thick noodles, while the ramen had thin noodles, but both were delicious with a sweetness from the fat in the soup. Personally, I thought the thick noodles were better suited for the dish.

I visited a newly renovated shop called "Tsukemen Chiccho Goku" for the first time. It is about an 8-minute walk from Keio Inokashira Line's Kichijoji Station. I tried the Special Hormone Tsukemen (1,280 yen). [Noodles] The medium-thick noodles were not as strong as the soup. [Soup] It is classified as soy sauce tsukemen, but the aroma of vegetables and hormones spreads in your mouth. It's interesting how the impression changes drastically when you add curry fish powder halfway through. [Ingredients] The hormones are not greasy, and as a yakiniku lover, I wish there were more of them. There's also chashu, making it a lavish dish. Cabbage, lemon slices, chopped green onions, and mizuna add a refreshing touch. There were also chopped nori, half a seasoned egg, and bamboo shoots. They also offer ramen and maze-soba. Thank you for the meal.

- Hormone Tsukemen (dipping noodles with grilled offal) for a total of 1280 yen per person
[Overview]
Located a 5-minute walk from Kamiyama Station, within walking distance from Shibuya Station, is Gaganara Ramen Goku. Their rich soup with thick noodles to dip in is a delight, especially when paired with the occasional sweet and tasty offal. However, I wished there was a bit more offal, so adding extra may be a good idea! The place is relatively quiet even during weekday evenings, making it convenient for a quick visit on the way home from work. I'm curious about their curry tsukemen and mixed noodles for next time! Since the offal itself was delicious, I'm looking forward to the unknown factor of the curry tsukemen. Thank you for the meal.

It's located in quite a hidden alley where you wouldn't find it unless you knew about it. It's also quite far from the center of Shibuya. I think it used to have a different name, but they still serve ramen with hormones. I tried the hormone tsukemen. It's priced at 980 yen, but you can get a free large serving. The grilled hormones are crispy and delicious. The soup has a fish powder flavor. The noodles are smooth, but personally, I prefer them a bit firmer. It's a good distance for a walk during lunchtime. Thank you for the meal.

Hormone (offal) is delicious! It goes perfectly with noodles. I used to go to the one in Ikebukuro, but it has been closed for a while, so I went to Shibuya. I received a mask accessory as a gift when I visited. I wanted to try the mixed noodles, so I ordered them with added hormone and green onions. They asked about the level of spiciness, but I wasn't sure if they had that option. Apparently, there are levels from 1 to 5. The mixed noodles come with mayonnaise, vinegar, and chili oil. The savory aroma of the hormone is irresistible! When mixed well, the chewy noodles, hormone, and sweet sauce blend together beautifully and taste delicious. However, when I tried it after about a year and a half, the flavor seemed a bit weaker. It could be due to differences between stores. I would like to go back again. I hope the Ikebukuro store will reopen soon.

Second visit. Today I came with a colleague. I wanted to come back because the hormone was delicious last time. When I visited last time, I was interested in the shrimp ramen, so I ordered that. Soup... The soup uses plenty of cherry shrimp, and you can feel the flavor of the shrimp, but I felt that the shrimp aroma and the soup were not integrated. It left a slightly thin impression. The shrimp wonton was sweet and delicious, but overall, the hormone was tastier. Since this was from a visit a while ago and was left as a draft, I am posting it now.

The Hormone Tsukemen for 1,080 yen was delicious. The hormone itself was very tasty, with a good amount of fat that mixed well with the noodles, creating a flavorful meatiness. The fish powder had a curry flavor, and I even received white rice to enjoy the remaining soup. The unique Hormone Ramen was surprisingly easy to understand and hit the mark.

The flavor and texture of the grilled hormone match well with the noodles, making it delicious. However, without the hormone, I felt like it was just a ramen without any distinctive features. In my opinion, toppings should not overpower the noodles and soup, but rather complement the main dish. But this hormone is really tasty. I would like to eat a meal with this. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the restaurant before 11 am on Saturday, August 21st. It seems to be in the backstreets of Shibuya. I saw that they were open from 10:30 am due to the declaration, so I decided to go in. I ordered the Hormone Ramen (¥930) at the ticket machine. I opted for the regular size instead of the large. The soup is a combination of fish powder and chicken, but it lacks a bit of appeal. It could be described as having a sophisticated finish. The taste is a bit light. I tried adding fish powder and curry fish powder, but it didn't change much. The noodles are straight and made of wheat, with a good chewiness. The hormone is made of beef small intestines (copchang) and has a nice amount of fat, but I wonder if hormone really goes well with this ramen? Personally, I think it would be better if it was a bit more charred. Toppings include watercress, menma, and seaweed. The atmosphere and service are good, but the prices are a bit on the higher side.

I visited the restaurant during my company's lunch break. It took me about 15 minutes to walk there. I ordered the special hormone dipping noodles. Soup... slightly sweet soup. Noodles... firm and medium thickness noodles with a good chew. Ingredients... seaweed, chashu, egg, bamboo shoots, and hormone. It was my first time trying ramen with hormone, and it tasted delicious with the soup. The egg, bamboo shoots, and chashu were nothing special. I still think seaweed is a must for dipping noodles. I am interested in trying the shrimp ramen next time.

June 2021 Ramen "Gagana Ramen Kiwami" ✨✨
While walking in the back streets of Shibuya, I stumbled upon an unfamiliar ramen shop! Their specialties seem to be "offal" and "shrimp". Shall we try a little? The shop opened in December 2015 and is located an 11-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station. The interior of the shop is like a typical ramen shop and is kept clean. Now, let's see how the food tastes (*´∇`)ノ
- Offal Ramen 930 yen
- The noodle texture is good, slightly firm and chewy. However, the noodles are clearly mass-produced and lack uniqueness. This might not satisfy those who frequently visit famous ramen shops.
- The soup is made from simmering pork bones, chicken bones, and various vegetables for over 12 hours, using a double soup base of dashi made from fish and vegetable extract (kelp, dried sardines, bonito flakes, etc.). The soup is refreshing with a slightly strong seafood flavor. The finishing of the soup itself is well done.
- Ingredients include offal, mizuna greens, green onions, bean sprouts, cabbage, and seaweed. The offal is seared and seasoned strongly to enhance its presence as an ingredient. The freshness is good, and you can understand the shop owner's desire to leverage this as a selling point.
- Service: Properly done.
- Price: A bit on the high side.
- Overall, the ramen lacks a sense of unity, but the quality of the offal is high and delicious. I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m
- Rating as of June 2021: 3.42 on Tabelog with 54 reviews.

Specialty dipping noodles, regular size portion of noodles. The soup is the pinnacle of personal preference! The tripe is probably carefully prepared, so there is no off-flavor smell and the umami flavor is amazing. The char siu, bamboo shoots, and green onions in the dipping sauce all go perfectly with rice. The shop has a rice master. The noodles are smooth and chewy, and the lemon is great for changing the flavor. I would be happy if there were thin noodles. Thank you for the meal!

Nice to meet you, I'm Chappy Jinbo. I went to Gaganara Ramen Kiwami located at 37-18 Udagawa, Shibuya-ku. The phone number is 03-5738-7899. The nearest stations are Shibuya Station or Jinsen Station. I visited during lunchtime and chose the tsukemen from the menu. I opted for the large size as it was free. I had never tried Horumon tsukemen before, so it was a new experience. The broth was not as rich as I expected, but the combination of dipping sauce, grilled horumon, and noodles was very delicious. It was surprisingly simple in taste. That's my impression. See you again.
