Recently, due to the coronavirus, I have been mainly working from home. However, when I do go to the office, I used to go out for lunch with my colleagues. I recently visited Taihouki, which was featured on the King's Brunch. A junior colleague had recommended their dumplings to me before, so I decided to try them out. The menu consists of typical Chinese dishes that Japanese people are familiar with. On this day, I tried the sweet and sour pork. It was priced at 1000 yen and came with dim sum, making it quite a good deal. The restaurant serves hearty portions, perfect for when you want a filling meal. I also ordered the dumplings, as recommended, and they were huge! The skin was crispy and the filling was generous. The original Ebisu dumplings, which come in a pack of 30 for 4860 yen, are available for nationwide delivery through online shopping. They are currently in high demand, so there may be some delays in shipping. If you order, it's best to be patient and wait for your delivery. Today, I have to go to the office. I wonder if the trains will be crowded...

Colleagues suddenly wanted to eat Chinese food, so we came to this restaurant. Before we knew it, the last train had already left, haha. The restaurant had a nice exterior and a good atmosphere inside. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home. We ordered mapo tofu, dumplings, shrimp mayo, and daikon mochi, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced with good portion sizes. It was a great restaurant. We will definitely come back if we have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular day at 6 pm, I visited with my boss. It was not crowded at that time, but by 7 pm it was fully booked. Maybe it's popular. The dumplings were a bit larger than usual. The mapo tofu was average. The drinks were large. It feels like a great place for everyday dining. Maybe it's a local Chinese restaurant in Ebisu. I think it's cheap and good.

Late at night, when you think of Chinese food, you think of Ohtoyoki. They stay open late, which is very convenient. The dumplings are large and nice! A helpful Chinese restaurant. The food quality is much appreciated for a late-night meal. The service can vary depending on how busy they are since it seems like there is usually only one person cooking. The new manager or something similar is lovely. The sweet and sour pork with fried rice was delicious, and the wonton ramen at the end had so many wontons, it was surprising! They must be very busy with all the delivery orders they receive.

The dumplings are very delicious. The Mega Highball has plenty of lemon in it and is good value for money. They have a wide variety of dim sum, stir-fries, rice dishes, and drinks on the menu, all at a good price, so we often use it when drinking with multiple people. The restaurant is filled with the scent of Chinese food, so it's not suitable for a date.

Thank you for the delicious meal! Seriously, it was so good. I usually don't like big dumplings, but this tasty dumpling is something else. Thank you for the juicy meat, great texture, and flavors! This is seriously good, I might even consider ordering it. It's all about personal preference, but the chunks of pork, the bouncy texture of the filling, and the thickness of the skin all contribute to its deliciousness. Bravo! It would be even better if the staff were more friendly. They might as well be from the Z generation, haha.

The specialty at Otoyuki Gyoza is definitely delicious. The skin is chewy and well cooked, with a nice accent of shrimp. At 200 yen each, they are a bit pricey for gyoza. The shrimp roe fried rice is also excellent. It's like a fried rice with sauce, similar to Tianjin rice. The jellyfish comes in a small dish with a small portion. The drool chicken has a sauce with a strong Sichuan pepper flavor. The lemon sour is priced at 450 yen, making it a reasonably priced Chinese restaurant in the city.

After work, when you want to eat Chinese food, this is the place to go! Highly recommended. Located near Ebisu East Exit, "Daitoyuki Nigo-bou" offers the perfect combination of dumplings and mapo tofu. Enjoying Qingdao beer and boiled peanuts while waiting for the dumplings was delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.

After watching basketball at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, I took a walk to Ebisu and got thirsty. I had "Beer & Gyoza" - the gyoza was plump and generously sized! I tried the original gyoza, seafood gyoza, seasonal menu kabu sansho carpaccio, black vinegar pork with nagaimo, beer, and warm glass of Shaoxing wine. The total was 2,500 yen.

Visited on Friday around 6:30 pm. The seats were still available, but soon it started filling up and by around 7:30 pm, it was completely full. They have a two-hour time limit rule when it gets crowded, so we had to leave. We ordered the signature Ebisu Gyoza, which was filled with plenty of meat. We also tried the tuna and avocado gyoza, which was delicious especially with the wasabi. The gyoza plates come with 2 pieces each, making it easy to order. The Shanghai fried noodles and spring rolls were also quite tasty. We couldn't relax much in the two hours, but with beer, gyoza, and delicious appetizers, we left feeling satisfied and full.

A few minutes walk downhill from the east exit of Ebisu Station, there is a dumpling restaurant on the left side. This is the second branch, with the main branch located a bit further north. They have various branches in addition to Ebisu. I visited on a weekend night around 9 pm for a second round. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, and it was about 80% full but not completely packed, so I was able to find a seat. I sat at a table and ordered only dumplings since it was my second stop. I ordered the original Ebisu dumplings, steamed water dumplings with spicy sesame sauce, and steamed shrimp dumplings. The original Ebisu dumplings were large with a crispy outer skin, which was delicious. There was some juicy meat inside, but it felt like some moisture or oil had seeped out of the meat slightly. The water dumplings had a chewy skin and were delicious. The spicy sesame sauce wasn't very spicy and didn't have a strong sesame flavor. The steamed shrimp dumplings had a tender skin and the shrimp inside was plump and tasty. They also have a wide variety of drinks, and since it's close to the station, it's a good choice for a second round.

Last night, the second stop was at Ebisu Gyoza restaurant Daifukuki! Even though I had plenty to eat and drink at a Spanish bar for the first stop, I suddenly felt like eating gyoza and stumbled upon this highly recommended place. I was drawn in as I walked by and ended up trying their original Ebisu gyoza, cucumber and zasai with spicy oil, steamed chicken with scallion oil sauce, and draft beer. The gyoza here were slightly larger and filled with plenty of meat. It was all delicious! Eventually, I headed towards the ramen shop for the final dish. #Gyoza #Dumplings #NightDinner #DrinkingandEating #NightOut #Dinner #Delicious #Ebisu #EbisuGyoza #EbisuGourmet #TokyoGourmet #Foodies #ConnectwithGyozaLovers

We went with three people! Definitely order the Hamusui-go. The dough was very chewy, the filling was piping hot, and it was amazing! There were many types of dumplings, but personally, I liked the seafood dumplings. They were filled with plenty of shrimp, had a nice texture, and were satisfying to bite into. We also ordered the Tantanmen, Egg Fried Rice, and Kung Pao Chicken. Each dish was quite large, so we thought it was best to share one between two people! The portions were generous, so we couldn't finish everything. The Tantanmen had a gentle flavor but was spicy. The Egg Fried Rice had a flavorful sauce, which was delicious. The Kung Pao Chicken had a rich seasoning, perfect for when you're feeling tired.

- Ebisu Gyoza Ohtoyoshi Nigoubou is a popular spot known for their original Ebisu Gyoza, where you can enjoy the flavors of shrimp and Iberico pork. - It is recommended to make a reservation, especially on weekends, as the place tends to be fully booked until late hours. - Located just a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station East Exit, the restaurant is easily accessible with a prominent signboard displaying "Ebisu Gyoza" and bright lighting. - The interior has around 40 seats with a mix of tables and counter seats, but it is always crowded on weekends, so making a reservation is advisable. - The original Ebisu Gyoza, which has been the most popular dish for 15 years, is filled with succulent shrimp and Iberico pork, offering a delicious taste with a satisfying texture. - They also offer a variety of Chinese dishes at reasonable prices, making it a great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine and gyoza with friends. - Some recommended menu items include the original Ebisu Gyoza, steamed domestic chicken Ban Ban Ji, crispy fried chicken with oil-drenched chicken sauce, shrimp with mayonnaise sauce, crispy fried rich cheese with sweet chili sauce, and shrimp and egg fluffy fried rice. - Feel free to save this information for reference.

I had a mapo tofu set meal (950 yen) and Ebisu gyoza (400 yen) for lunch on Sunday. This restaurant in Ebisu offers weekend lunches at the same price as weekdays, which is a great deal. The mapo tofu had a good amount of ground meat, giving it a nice texture with the tofu. It paired well with the rice. I forgot that the set meal also came with shumai, so I ordered gyoza as well. The gyoza was huge and delicious, with a tasty filling of ground meat. Even though I knew I would be full, I couldn't resist ordering more.

The restaurant was featured on a TV show, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the B set with mapo tofu rice, oil-splashed chicken, and dumplings. The dumplings were packed with meat and shrimp, very satisfying to eat. They were just as delicious as when I made them at home. The mapo tofu rice was spicy with a strong flavor of Sichuan pepper, maybe a bit too salty. The oil-splashed chicken was average. While the mapo tofu and oil-splashed chicken were tasty, they were nothing exceptional compared to other places. The highlight was definitely the dumplings. I might come back for them, but for other dishes, I feel like I can find similar ones elsewhere. Overall, if I crave dumplings, I'll just order them online.

In the area known as Ebisu Gyoza Street (that's what I call it), there are several gyoza restaurants that I really like. Along the backstreets, you can find places like Hohei, Yasubei, Tsurukame, and a few other gyoza-focused shops. This area is filled with reasonably priced and delicious restaurants of various genres. There seems to be a lot of gyoza options in particular. Many of my friends who love gyoza also enjoy this area. The gyoza here are large and juicy, bursting with flavor. Both the seafood gyoza and beef gyoza are delicious. What's great is that you can order just two pieces, which is perfect! For those who prefer smaller, crispy gyoza, I recommend Yasubei and Hohei. Since it was close to my house, I used to get takeout from here often. It's sad that I've moved a bit further away now.

[Review] The original restaurant we planned to go to was really crowded, and we were turned away at another full restaurant, leaving us wandering the streets for about 30 minutes as we searched for a place to eat. That's when we stumbled upon this restaurant and luckily managed to secure a table seat after our third attempt. Since we were in the mood for dumplings, we ordered the original and beef dumplings. The dumplings had a chewy skin with a generous amount of filling, and they tasted delicious when paired with beer. We also ordered cucumber and zha cai for a healthier option, but I would recommend the twice-cooked pork and seasonal vegetables over that if you enjoy meat and want to balance it out with some veggies. The dumplings were quite filling, with 3-4 pieces being a good portion size, but they were so tasty that you could definitely eat more. Grateful for this unexpected and delightful discovery!

I usually eat a vegetable-based diet and don't eat much meat, but sometimes I crave dumplings. When I was looking for a place to satisfy my dumpling craving, I also felt like eating mapo tofu, so I decided to try this restaurant that offers a lunch menu with both dumplings and mapo tofu. I wanted to see if I could switch the dumplings for the half portion of oil-splashed chicken that comes with the mapo tofu, but it seemed like they weren't flexible enough to accommodate that request, so I ended up adding dumplings to the mapo tofu on rice. Later, another customer asked the same question and was also turned down. The dumplings were a bit pricey at 400 yen for 2 pieces, but they were quite substantial with a generous filling. The hidden shrimp added a nice flavor, and they were very delicious! I was very satisfied with just 2 dumplings. The mapo tofu had "Szechuan" in the name, so I thought it would be spicy, but it wasn't very hot from chili peppers, instead, it had a strong taste of Sichuan pepper. It wasn't too spicy for me, who isn't a fan of spicy food, but I did experience the numbing sensation from the Sichuan pepper for the first time! The tofu was firm, and the minced meat was quite substantial, with a larger, meatier texture than usual. It was a bit heavy for me, who isn't a big fan of meat. I am a slender woman with a big appetite, but despite going there quite hungry, my stomach was surprisingly full. Thank you for the meal!

Popular Gyoza restaurant in Ebisu serving large and chewy gyoza! The original Ebisu Gyoza is filled with the delicious flavors of shrimp, Iberico pork, domestic pork, and domestic vegetables. The domestic beef gyoza contains domestic beef and vegetables with a hint of spice. The gyoza is full of volume and very reasonably priced. It was very delicious!

I visited the second branch after visiting the main branch the other day. The main branch had good pricing for a girls' night out and the food was well done for a local Chinese restaurant, but the service from the staff was a bit cold and rushed, which made me not want to go back. This time, I ordered my usual pre-movie meal in one go. I ordered the Chorogi salad, mapo tofu, original gyoza, seafood gyoza, spring rolls, and soupless tantanmen. The Chorogi salad was like the typical salad you find at izakayas, but it had a variety of crunchy vegetables inside which was enjoyable. Surprisingly, the mapo tofu arrived before the gyoza. The numbing sensation from the Sichuan pepper was pleasant, and the spiciness was mild enough for Japanese taste buds. The gyoza was packed full of filling, although personally, I prefer thinner skins and juicier fillings. The spring rolls were similar to the ones from a chain restaurant and didn't look very appealing when cut open. The finishing touch, the soupless tantanmen, had pumpkin placed around it for some reason. The noodles could have had more depth, but the additional chili oil made up for it. The good thing about local Chinese restaurants is that you can adjust the taste to your liking. Overall, this place is clean and offers good value for authentic Chinese cuisine (especially the gyoza). As long as you make the right choices, you can enjoy a budget-friendly and genuine Chinese meal here. By the way, the service at the second branch was excellent, unlike the main branch. Thank you for the meal.
